Technology #153

For the curious! We're exploring the inner-workings of the human brain to understand behavior change, habit formation, mental health, and being human. It’s Brain Science applied — not just "how does the brain work," but how do we apply what we know about the brain to transform our lives?

    Off-topic
Not interested in the off-topic politics. Your wild accusations politically show you are not a critical thinker. You let politics interfere with an examination of the truth. I get it - free speech means your are free to be wrong.

    Awesome Podcast
Just started listening to the podcast, been looking for a neuroscience podcast for awhile now and havent found a good one. The podcast reinforces some of the stuff I already know but Mireille and Adam add anecdotal experiences to help listeners better understand concepts. I especially loved the sweet message Mireille gave at the end in episode 23 “Your Brain Can Change” by encouraging us to challenge ourselves and try new things, as it is the only way for us to grow. Thank you, @TonyRehab

    So thankful
I’ve been searching high and low for a podcast like this. I’m so glad I found this one! I am also surprised there are not many more podcasts out there on these topics.

    An oasis in the desert
I love learning about the brain. I'm sitting here listening to the episode "Respect, empathy and compassion" and just feel so touched to hear these young people working through the HOW of reach people in crisis and help such people to stabilize. I'm a "Crisis Intervention Trained" Police Officer and practice these concepts which Mireille and Adam (the podcasters) speak of. Fellow officers have asked how I'm so effective but I've had some difficulty relaying the "how" of doing what I do. Hearing Mireille and Adam "flesh out" the "how" of compassion is incredibly refreshing.
