Hosts spend a lot of time self aggrandizing and name dropping. I get it… it’s cool to people political celebrity, now can you get back to the news? We already loose half the run time to fan mail… which is just more self filation… I miss when beans had fire. An I’ve never been able to make common ground on Gaza. If AG still can’t see how Ukraine, and Palestine are both nations under attack by a hostile force. It’s too late for this show. She’s no better then the people she claims to hate.

I listen every morning to get my first jolt of news for the day. I love how AG & Dana present very tough stories with compassion & the appropriate sprinkling of humor. If we could not laugh about the madness we would never get out of bed until 2029.

As bad as it all is, AG and DG distill it every day.

AG’s podcasts have kept me sane in recent years and were my main source of all things Trump and fascism. I’m happy that Allison has built the following she has, she’s worked hard and provided valuable insight into this administration. That being said, I’m don’t with this podcast and its host after she attacked me on Bluesky for pointing out that she posted a broken link to an event she was performing at. It was such a minor interaction, I don’t understand why she had to make it personal. So I’ve since unsubscribed from all of her podcasts and her Patreon. It’s sad to see that her level of success has gone straight to her head, which I’ve noticed in her content recently but chose to overlook it until she brought it to my doorstep. 🙃

This was a shockingly shallow and rediculous podcast... I thought I'd give it a chance as a moderate, but quickly was shocked at the content... especially discussing "who would pick a fight with AOC or Crockett".... thank God I only wasted 15 minutes on this garbage.... unreal

They’re such a good spot in the day everyday. They are honest and always so gracious when they get corrected. No one’s perfect but they’re the best kind of imperfect ❤️

AG was on vacation this week, and DG did a masterful job as the only host. AG and DG are so good together, and am blown away by how well she held down the fort!

I can’t believe how hard these women work. I so appreciate waking up every morning to hearing The Daily Beans without fail. Very comforting to hear articulate, outspoken coverage of the news with compassion for all and frankly, the news often merits a little swearing. I’ve been a fan of this podcast and its sister podcasts, Clean Up on Aisle 45 and (now) Unjustified, for about a year. I appreciate how Allison distills the news out of Washington with a sprinkle of language appropriate to the depth of outrage I feel. In addition to the good news which ends each episode, she’s added a Good Trouble segment. I’m now a part of a women’s group committed to doing good trouble. I’m also sharing with this group and in a thread on Nextdoor, Allison’s Good Trouble. So many thanks to podcasters and others who aren’t bowing to the man who would be king. If we’re a true democracy in 4 years, it will be due to people like Allison Gill and Dana Goldberg.

Don’t listen to this podcast. It’s very liberal and progressive. Don’t listen if your views are center left or moderate left. This is a one sided podcast which the Democrats are also breaking the law.

Just started listening this week. Wanted to pass this on to you about how Nielsen gathers data if you don’t have one of their devices. Nielsen uses data from smart TVs to measure what people watch on TV. There are settings on your smart TVs to disable their ability to track your usage. I hope this helps.
