I love this show. The hosts are personable and knowledgeable. I really like the way they explain stuff to the lay listener. I appreciate their candor.

I wish I was more confident 11th circuit would reverse Cannon, because if it ends up in SCOTUS, they’ve made clear that the amount of chaos they inflict is no matter for them to be concerned with. The majority of the senior court is rewriting the Constitution and our laws in their entirety, legislation be damned.

This team strikes just the right balance between being informative and keeping it light enough that it’s never boring. The chemistry between them is perfect. Listening to them is like sitting down for coffee with a couple knowledgeable and trusted friends to catch up with developments.

Congratulations on your 100th podcast and your awards. Thank you for your excellent work on behalf of our democracy.

The information given is very good on this podcast. But I perfectly understand what Mary McCord is saying when she talks. Andrew does not need to mansplain her comments or input.

Excellent! Would be better if Mary didn't dominate the commentary quite as much. A little restraint would allow more balance and be a little less grating.

I look forward to all of Mary and Andrew’s episodes. To hear the actual legal terms and facts opposed to what media aka TRUMPLICANS want to believe. I just respect your opinions and willingness to dive deep into the actual law and help us interpret what it is. Thank you for your service, I recommend this show to all my friends and family.

If the George Floyd Protests taught us anything…the 2Aers do not keep their guns for government tyranny. They keep them for their OWN tyranny.

I love this podcast and I love the people on it but I’m not paying to listen because it’s not fair to your loyal followers to suddenly have to get a credit card just to hear what other intelligent people should tell all of us for free. This will be a bummer all around.

Thank you Mary and Andrew for explaining complicated issues down to there essences. With so much going on and one candidate not speaking with clarity, your podcast is a must to keep timeline linear. 🧡

Normally love the show but todays was a rambling episode, couldn’t even finish it.

Great show with two hosts who know what’s going on. However I am concerned about the shift to subscription. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and subscribe to my local paper and three national papers. I’m tapped out. Now everybody wants more money from me. Good luck with that. I don’t want to wait a week on your views. I guess I have to go elsewhere.

I for one don’t appreciate having faithful followers suddenly barred with a pay wall. My usual reaction is to unfollow. I will be sad if forced to do that here.

Poor Steve, he doesn't seem to think anything will fix the problems. So sad. Now tell that to the many, many folks who so desperately need something to be done to address the arrogance and disrespect they feel coming from the Court. He sounds like more of the problem. At least the President and Congress are proposing good solutions.

Your broadcasts are so loaded with information, and so well explained that I actually enjoy listening several times. You’ve increased my legal vocabulary and I have a far better understanding of what is happening in the array of Trump trials But- too hard to find the latest episode once I’ve heard it and now need to repeat

You make the rule of law understandable and show how it is the last line of defense against someone who seeks to tear that wall down.

I have enjoyed this podcast ever since finding it a few months ago. The insight to the various cases has been invaluable to see how disingenuous various people in the process have been but also how the justice system is still holding strong and that there are a number of good people involved in the process who are fighting for democracy on a daily basis. Thank you Mary and Andrew!

Andrew and Mary are so incredibly thoughtful, well versed and intelligent Their knowledge of law and the way that they break it down really helps me understand what is happening. I feel like it helps me explain to my friends the importance of making good decisions when you vote. Even the most insignificant wranglings can have such a grievous consequences. Plus they are great together!

Love this podcast, appreciate the in depth explanations, but almost quit listening because Mary rarely gets to finish a sentence/thought without being interrupted. Let the woman speak for goodness sake.

I don’t think I’ve heard an episode where Andrew didn’t interrupt Mary to make exactly the same point she was Give him a script or take the microphone away, he can’t play well with others on his own

It was such a depressing episode that this is the first time I did not listen to it all. Gosh. It seems like there is no hope

I’m not a lawyer but I love legal wranglings. And listening to Mary McCord and Andrew Weisman is awesome. Both of them are so smart! Well worth the time.

With this power given to President, can Biden ask his department of justice to investigate Trump again for any other reason

I love your show and I’ve learned so much - you both are excellent professors! I have a question regarding the consequences of the supreme court ruling that extends immunity to the president. Would this give the current president the ability by executive order to extend the qualifications for the presidency? For instance, could they revise or extend the rule to include that no one who was found guilty of a felony could run?

I am a devoted fan of your wonderful podcast. I listen to each one multiple times. I have a question that I hope you can answer. I’ve heard only one person on the news mention this and that is if President Biden is ultimately replaced by someone else, presumably vice president Kamala Harriss, then Republicans would sue in critical states because the ticket had changed. If that is true, then President Biden should not be replaced because it would just take one state to not accept the change. It would thereby be impossible for the Democrat ticket to win.

I love all of it. And what producer is telling them to go faster? I love the side bars and anecdotes… let them talk! They’re fascinating and knowledgeable. I’d listen to this every day, even if it was 6-hours long. It’s amazing.

You have shone a bright light on the cases against DJT. If it were mandatory listening,I have no doubt that even some in the Maga world, would question their belief that it’s just witch hunts. You are both national treasures. Thank you for explaining all the legal ease. Sometimes I feel like SCOTUS, Trump crime(ing) (allegedly), and this Project 2025 agenda is overwhelming. Y’all help to talk me down off the wall.

On-point and no-nonsense deep discussions from knowledgeable professionals; this podcast is much appreciated by this listener who is on the verge of overwhelm again, but who knows it’s imperative to stay informed. That said, I do wish Mary wouldn’t talk over Andrew as much though!

Doesn’t the rulings of the Supreme Court go into effect immediately? Can’t Biden fire three or 4 members of the Supreme Court and throw Trump in jail as official actions and be immune to prosecution?

Why are you continuing to give Cannon excuses? It’s her inexperience, it’s her being alone in her district? She’s having a bad hair day? If it looks like a duck and acts like a duck, it’s a duck. She’s corrupt. I’m hoping DOJ had someone looking into her financial situation. Possibly we have another Thomas or Alito. Just not as smart.

Nothing is stated in this show explains exactly what crimes DJT has committed. You know why because there are NONE. It is an absolute farce of political opponents using lawfare to hurt rivals. These are dishonest people who purposely lie to you for financial gain. Think about it without your hate @Bdub441 wake up man. I'm not sure how they look at themselves in the mirror let alone come to the realization that their whole career and livelihood depends on hating & harassing Trump.
