I’m so obsessed with this podcast, I found it like 2 weeks ago and my whole work day consists of listing. I’ve never got into crime stuff until this podcast.

I suppose everything has a tipping point. They peaked years ago and now it’s just trash. The constant interruptions from Brit, the unnecessary libtard political interjections and the whiny pointless rambles are just god awful. They’re like those two blonde losers the show Based On A True Story makes fun of!

I find myself saying, “shut up!” Way too often listening to her annoying voice

I love this show Ashley and Britt tell these stories very well. I especially love Britt. I've been listening to every episode for 3 years now and I'm always disappointed when I don't hear her haha. Her questions make the story easier to understand and I just love her personality! I 100% recommend this podcast to anyone who loves true crime.

Thought I liked this podcast but not impressed with political issues, ads and how it’s not accurate, doing surface research and maybe plagiarism is not something I will listen to. Update: still not presenting facts, go somewhere else. They think they are the best and they are not

I love listening to Crime Junkie whenever I get downtime! I also love the back and forth with Brit and Ashley, because it feels more conversational and less like an information dump that would overwhelm me

I love crime junkies. It was the first crime podcast. I’ve started listening to, and I listen to it hard-core. I don’t really care for the changes. They’ve made by having other people come and guest speak. Brits voice makes me happy💕 the audio is very clear and crisp unlike Mr.ballen ( his podcast is good too)

I love this podcast so much and when I listen to it I really feel like I’m a part of the true crime family. I always recommend this podcast to my friends and family of all ages and now I’m highly recommending it to you.

I use to absolutely love this podcast. However, Britt is just downright annoying she interrupts constantly. The sound of her voice is legit like nails on a chalkboard. Also the fact they just keep repeating to not go to Washington State is getting annoying. I am from the East Coast so Washington has no connection to me but the fact they keep slamming innocent people in Washington is extremely disappointing. By constantly mentioning it is ultimately hurting businesses and tourism in Washington. I know that it is important to be always be aware of your surroundings at all times being in a certain location does not mean you will fall victim.

Good show, interesting storytelling, seems fairly well researched. I can only listen to it from across the room, though, because the squeaks and mouthy noises are grating, especially in the earlier episodes. Dislike the armchair quarterbacking commentary. Not sure what Britt adds to the show.

Brit is insufferable

When I first started to listen to the show, Brit was on leave and I love those episodes…. Then she’s back. Now that I only have 50 unplayed episodes, I can confidently say that Ashley is a great host, but Brit needs to be more intentional with her commentary and try not to interrupt so much. I have to skip all episodes where she’s the solo host.

My wife loves reality shows and it drives me nuts. I heard her listening to this show one day and I gave it a try. So glad I did. It is great!

I love the way that they explain everything and don’t leave out any details. They’re always so good. They pick good stories. Absolutely love them so much and her voice is really good by the way, which is kind of weird but like good and I just absolutely love it. All around 10/10!

I absolutely love crime junkie. I first started listening to CJ in February 2024 and have since caught up all the way to present date. Love them and their bond. My only complaint would be there have been way too many repeat episodes lately. It’s frustrating when you think that there’s a new episode but it’s just one that you already listened to.

I say, “Omg SHUT UP, Brit!!” like 15 times during each episode. Would be my favorite, 5 Star podcast if she wasn’t constantly interrupting. So unnecessary.

I’m a longtime Crime Junkie fan and still listened to the podcast even after all of the plagiarism and ethics allegations. However, I can no longer support this podcast after seeing that Ashley Flowers questioned the Delphi verdict. Anyone who has been carefully following the trial knows that RA is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. It’s disgusting that Ashley would simp for RA and promote unfounded conspiracy theories. Ashley, you’ve lost what little credibility you had left. Abby and Libby finally have the justice they’ve long deserved, and you heinously backed a murderer and tried to discredit the verdict. Gross and embarrassing.

Brit, 🤫shuuuuuush up, focus girl. Just listen.

I cannot take this show nor anyone who says they like this show, seriously ( though I did try...) Imagine someone told you they were a huge movie buff, and when you asked what their favorite films were, they told you whatever was playing on the hallmark channel.. This is the equivalent quality of work in the true crime podcasting world. 🤢 do not waste your time or your brain cells

i am not normally a tc (true crime) fan, but this podcast makes it so immersive and easy to follow along. ( P.S. if you haven’t, could you do an episode on like ted bundy or john wayne gacy?)

It's not that I love crime but I love being aware of it and the details so I know my surroundings and what to do if I'm ever in a horrible situation. I've found my people here!

I like this podcast but lately Britt has been interrupting Ashley sooooo much and it’s very distracting. I have not been able to finish the last couple episodes because she literally cuts in so much.

Wow, originally it was Brit that seemed like a dip dingus, now it’s Ashley. Never thought Brit would seem like the smart one but hey it’s actually happening.

Use to be my favorite show. Now they just recycle old episodes from the earlier days and play them as “new content”. It’s sad when you don’t listen to your favorite shows anymore because the host doesn’t put in the effort anymore.

Ashley Flowers is great at stealing other peoples hard work. Now she writes a book that was nothing more than the JonBenet Ramsey case with some names changed. Can we please put these two where they truly belong at the bottom of the ratings. Vile, woke, money grabbers. Maybe Britt should start drinking so we can tolerate her.

If I could give more stars,I would! I found this podcast a few months ago when I was just starting to listen to them. Since my discovery I made it my personal mission to listen to every single episode and i’m happy to report that I am officially caught up! I have listened to every single episode! I love the back and fourth between Ashley and Britt. The stories I never knew about and few from my hometown in Anchorage, Alaska are super interesting! I also bought Ashleys first book which quickly became my favorite read! I’ve already pre-ordered the second one and can’t wait!

I love listening to the older episodes. Ashley was such a caring storyteller. Now she only sounds like she’s reporting news.

I like the podcast but…OMG these girls are SUPER woke, and I capitalize SUPER because every other work is SUPER! They are super liberal and super dramatic and super annoying at times. I thought I was listening to teenagers but no, they are in their 30s. I would love the podcast if it were hosted by mature women instead of stereotypical drones of the woke liberal mindset that are assured of their own righteous as long as the use all the acceptable speech. On the bright side, the actual true crime content is good. I just have to listen in small increments. Definitely not a podcast you can binge.

I LOVE Crime Junkie. I just have one note: Brit, please please stop interrupting Ashley. I couldn’t even finish the latest episode because Ashley couldn’t finish a sentence. I love the commaradery with you gals, but the interrupting throws me off to where I can’t follow the storyline at all. I can’t give this podcast less than 5 stars because it is stellar.. I just need them to know that it is so distracting.

If you like true crime, you’ll LOVE crime junkie! One of my favorite parts about this podcast is that they get straight to the point and you don’t have to listen to any of the boring rambling like true crime other podcasts.

Ashley’s ego, man. It really ruins a good show. I really haven’t been able to stomach a single episode all the way through, though being a huge true crime fan Lord knows I’ve tried! Just not worth it—unfollowing the show.

I’ve been listening for years. I feel like something needs to change.

I have been listening to Crime Junkie since I was five I’m 10 now I listen to Crime Junkie every morning when I get ready every time I go to sleep ❤️ Every woman should be listening, there are so many people in this world who think oh this is gonna happen to me. This type of stuff doesn’t happen to me, and those are the people that it happens to little girls and women are getting murdered each day.

This was my first podcast, years ago. But these two talk too fast, especially to each other. Don’t forget that you have an audience. Or had, in my case. I skimmed the reviews; all the negative ratings are *former* fans. You need to consider what’s happened: the numerous ads, the cold cases, the redundancy, your interaction.

Look, Brit has the actual sexiest voice I've ever heard in my life; also, anyone who doesn't see that her role is standing in for the listener- asking the questions that you may be asking yourself as the story is told- is being a willful fool. Sometimes Ashley's delivery is maybe more polished than my punk rock self would like, but she's the real deal and she walks it like she talks it- and seems to genuinely care about crime victims. Did anyone else here start Season of Justice? Didn't think so. Negative reviewers are just jealous that she was able to monetize her interest in true crime, which, more power to her, as she's using her privilege well and seems hard-working. But, yeah, Brit's voice is like honey, dripping from my speakers.

The extent of Britt interrupting Ashley and trying to finish her sentences is awful. I almost couldn’t finish the Fred Farmer episode because the interruptions were constant. I don’t know if it actually does bother Ashley, but it sounds like it does, and it just makes the quality of the narration go down. Please please please, Britt, just let Ashley finish her sentences.

I’ve been listening to crime junkie for years now and I’m still hooked. Both Ashley & Britt have the most soothing voices and are just the most authentic and kind hosts I could ask for. I would be friends with them IRL. Over the years they’ve shared tidbits about themselves that have made me feel like I know them. At the same time, the focus is on victims and respecting them. I truly feel like they are doing a civic duty just by getting these stories out for the public so victims are remembered. I love that they offer ways for the public to help, whether that’s donating to a charity or by urging people to call local law enforcement if they saw something regarding a case. Ashley & Britt are respectful, genuine, and caring to the people involved in their subject material and their listeners. I like that they don’t get too political, and while they address some of the poor decisions law enforcement has made in the past, they don’t hate law enforcement. On the contrary, I believe they actually admire and respect good law enforcement, but without talking about the bad cops and holding them accountable, there wouldn’t be any change. I LIVE by the crime junkie life rules!!! I wish I knew some of these back when I was in college because I feel like even I have made mistakes and put myself in situations where I was lucky to be alive. I wish everyone could listen to this podcast, especially young girls who (like me) think they’re invincible and independent when they’re an adolescent. It’s sad that we live in the world we do, but knowledge is power. Be weird, be rude, stay ALIVE! I love you guys & crime junkie so much and I listen to you practically everyday. Thank you for the fantastic work you are doing. Keep it up!

Yet in most episodes we discuss the sketch that is clearly a man or DNA that indicates a man without taking into account their “gender identity”. 😂😂😂. Clearly gender isn’t fluid. It’s not even “assigned”. At birth sex is discovered and declared. This is how it should go: Ashley: “but there is a witness that NEVER lies!!” Brit: “Oh my gosh…there’s DNA!!!??” Ashley: “yes, we KNOW the sex of the killer/victim/eye witness!!” Brit: “oh, I love science!!” Brit came back from rehab a foul mouthed know it all. Heterophobic

Eversince I started to listen to this podcast I can't stop. 5 STARS!!!
