John and Shannon are so fun to listen to while traveling to and from school. They make difficult concepts easier to understand.

I listen during the data entry parts of work and it keeps me entertained. I laughed out loud at the one newton in a square meter = a pascal joke.

I'm not in the earth sciences but I'm really enjoying this podcast. Shannon and John are very informative and entertaining and have found a way to speak to people with many different levels of knowledge. I'll really look forward to hearing this each week. Months later: in this podcast, more than any other, I feel that I'm hearing the immediate thoughts of two dedicated scientists, both very interested in sharing their professional interests with us, in their extended classroom, and also sharing some aspects of their lives as scientists early in their careers. It's really quite extra-ordinary.

I absolutely love this podcast! Audio quality is excellent and easy to hear/understand. The content is interesting and entertaining, often centering on the two loves of my life: geology and technology. Lastly the humor, specifically Shannon's laughter, is absolutely the best! Keep them coming guys!

I have absolutely zero geological science background, but the hosts of the show do a great job explaining everything and helping me follow along. The hosts discuss really interesting topics and do a great job inviting the listener in. Shannon seems to always be laughing which is a little odd, but overall the show is great with their content, production, and super terrific show notes!

I am not a Geo-scientist, or Meteorologist, nor do I play either on TV, but this doesn’t change the fact that my overly geeky self LOVES this podcast. You guys are great, keep it up! This podcast really feels like you're just sitting around chatting over a cup of coffee. They do a great job bringing together exciting new (and reviews of old and interesting) information about the earth sciences while also telling us about all of the opportunities afforded by using technology (and when it doesn't work out so well). Really well done!
