Lee’s views on leadership are easy to follow and implement. It’s not complicated to do the right thing and I love how his podcasts remind us of this. We over complicate things. Thanks Lee and Jody for a great podcast.

Be the type of Leader Lee and Jody would hire I listen to two to four episodes a week depending how long it takes me to digest the episodes but this is not a bingeing podcast it’s a learning podcast. Maybe not every lesson applies to you but the ones that do Really do.

If you listen to this podcast and seriously apply the principles at the work place, you will have employees and managers that work well together and respect one another. Lee and Jody basically provide an MBA in Leadership if you listen to it and use it everyday. Lee has great stories on the why and how things were done at Disney to make it so special to the guests and cast members. Jody is a great guide to get you through the episode and to get Lee to explain his experiences. Thank you to both of you for a great podcast in business.

I first heard of Lee through his first appearance of Lou Mongello’s WDW Radio Show podcast about Walt Disney World. This inspired me to go to the library and check out Lee’s “Creating Magic” book, because I have always been fascinated and impressed by the level of service for which Disney was known. Wow! Lee’s book - and now the information and advice he so freely shares on this podcast - impart valuable lessons which are applicable not only in business but in one’s personal life. I have been binge-listening to this show from the very first episode and am currently only about halfway through the 2016 episodes but looking forward to ravenously devouring the rest and catching up. This show should be required listening for every high school student, college student, or person at any point in a professional career. Even if you are not in business….or even retired….this show is packed with information that will help you in your relationships with others at whatever age. The co-host Jody Maberry is also invaluable to the quality of the show and together Lee and Jody present in a manner that subtly entertains and captures one’s attention and holds one’s interest. He is FUN to listen to! Thank you for a great show!

I’ve enjoyed learning more about time management and “common sense” business practices from Lee. While he still seems somewhat old school in his thinking, I believe he realizes the business landscape is always changing and our leadership should be doing the same! Also, if you ever need the weekly weather report from Orlando and Washington, they’ve got you covered....

Lee has become my leadership and guest service conscience through his shared expertise in both his books as well as the podcast. Jody is a first class moderator who guides the show in a way that keeps things reasonable for time but topics are well discussed.

The hosts were prompted with a question about their bad theme song, instead of being open to change it they said “brands don’t change it is in the brand” brands change constantly and when receiving bad feedback, brands usually do something to appeal to their audience which makes their audience feel heard. The hosts seem slightly out of touch

This podcast should be required listening to every human being. Not only does Lee give business advice he gives life advice. No matter what you do for work, how old you are or where you live,anyone and everyone can take away something from this podcast. I have become a better leader, manager and person because of Lee. Love the 15 minute episodes. Every second has great content and information. Keep up the great work Lee and Jody!

I started this podcast for business purposes but soon realized it’s so much more than just a simple business interview kind of podcast. The topics touched on and discussed can also be used in everyday situations. This is a great listen and one that I am glad that I started listening to!

Lee’s wisdom and insight on leadership are incredible. The podcast format is perfect. Great questions and insightful answers from Lee. It’s a brief 15 minutes that’s perfect for my commute time. Lee’s style in how he answers the questions always is straight forward and give great insights on how to move forward.

Lee, I just wanted to be able to publicly thank you for everything you’ve done. I worked for Disney for a total of 14-years, and I was fired in May of this last year (2018). At the time, this was the worst thing that ever happened to me. I read your first book a few years ago when I still worked there. I tried very hard to to apply the principles to my daily routine, however, Disney has changed SO MUCH since your retirement. My attempts ultimately ended my career, fast forward almost a year and I’ve joined a wonderful new company and in LESS than 8 months I’ve been selected to participate in a management training program. I attribute my work attitude to the skills I learned from your books. I’m now 26 episodes into this podcast and listen to you on my commute and even when I’m working out in the gym. We met many years ago (2004) when I was a member of the college program working at the Wide World of Sports. My girlfriend at the time and I sold you a hotdog and talked with you for less than five minutes about the pin trading program...a week later we were leaving the gym in normal clothes with no ID/name tags and passed you and Mr. Williams in the hallway...we said hello and you stopped for a moment an recalled exactly who we were, where we met, and what we spoke about. That experience shaped my professional career for a long time. I hope to cross paths with you again someday soon at a live lecture. Have the best day, and thank you!!!

I stumbled onto this amazing podcast while planning my family’s first trip to WDW. I grew up in Southern California, so trips to Disneyland were very frequent, but WDW is completely different. After one podcast, I was so interested in Lee’s Time Management Magic, I bought the book. It is incredible! I am a Professional Engineer that leads a group of 85 engineers, technicians and support staff. I was overwhelmed and drowning in work. Now, I use the daily planner and feel in control of my life! I cannot thank Jody and Lee enough!
