Talking to people off mic - random thoughts unconnected to anything Purdue related - not prepared to host a show - commenting on games as they transpire on tv in the middle of random Purdue thoughts - stupid waste of time

I love the show and the hosts are typically fun to listen to as they are fellow Purdue Sports fans with a perspective that I appreciate as a fellow diehard alum. I do have one small gripe: Boilerdowd, you have got to quit the ice stirring anti-ASMR at the beginning of your episodes. I just paused an auto-queue’d episode immediately and am debating if I want to restart because the ice stirring in my ears. It serves no purpose and just downgrades the podcast recordings for me. I’m not docking any stars from my review because I like you guys and want to continue to support the show, but I hate, hate, hate when an episode comes on in my headphones and I am unexpectedly jarred by the sound of ice in a glass being stirred in my ears. Pretty please! Boiler Up, Hammer Down!

Uninformed and oblivious

Been reading and listening to these guys since my Jr year at Purdue in 2012. Keep up the great work! Even saw The Real Boilerdowd at a Meijer.

If you are a long time die-hard Purdue fan, you’ll love this podcast. I look forward to each Podcast as it’s a chance to hang out with my fellow fans and discuss Purdue sports. They always get me laughing, as this is a fun-loving group. They know their Purdue sports (mainly football and basketball) and have my respect.

Every Purdue fan should be subscribed to this podcast. Totally relatable as a lifelong Purdue fan here. Hilarious at times - these dudes will make you laugh. Love the analysis from Boiler guys who know their stuff. Also, give @BoiledSports a follow on Twitter, too. It will be worth your while!

Pull up a chair, pour yourself a beverage and listen to a couple of Purdue die-hards that you probably have a lot in common with. They tell it like it is and you may feel like your back in your Purdue days sitting at Harry’s skipping class.

Absolutely the best Purdue sports podcast out there. The guys are always on point with their information and bourbon selections!

Good podcast but they keep talking about this loser team called Purdue or whatever. Need to talk more Zion since he is god. Handsome hour should be Zion hour and basketball beat should be Zion beat. Can’t wait for these changes!

These guys are great. Seem to capture the pulse of the fan base better than any other Purdue-centric media outlet. They also seem like they’d be a blast to drink bourbon with, soooo...just listen to the damned podcast

Still the best and ONLY place to find BS opinions about Purdue Athletics. Boiled Sports doesn’t have as much clout or the prolific writers of some of the other websites and podcasts out there. They aren’t getting interviews with players and coaches every week. In fact, you could call them unprofessional, a label they’d probably embrace. You could call them unprepared, a criticism they’d have difficulty refuting. But never doubt their passion about Purdue, or the consistently high quality of the writing on the site. Likewise, listening to the Handsome Hour always feels like shooting the breeze with friends who share my love and interest for Purdue; who want to talk about Purdue all the time, and know a LOT about the history and context for each team. This is something that is hard to find outside of God’s Country. Finally, they’re the Bloggers I’d Most Want to Share a Drink With, and I think that counts for something. The opinions expressed on the Handsome Hour are always pure BS, and that’s the way I like it.

I really like the interaction between these guys and how they joke with one another. And occasionally some good analysis pops up. :)

Few people in the world can empathize with the unhealthy emotional reliance I have tied to Purdue sports, specifically basketball. This podcast is like being a middle school kid talking about your geekiest obsession, except it's sports so it's actually cool. Keep up the good work, gents. Boiler up!

It has a been a tough row is hoe with a lot of these Purdue teams over the years, but listening to these guys helps with the lumps. Not to mention smart analysis, and writers who are not blinded by so many S16 runs.

Kudos to these guys for starting this site and the podcast. They hit the topics you'd want to talk about with your buddy in a bar or watching a game together. The combination of the humor and insight make it a must-listen for any serious Boilermaker fan.
