alltheotheraliasesweretakenUnsubscribedI used to enjoy this podcast until listening to the latest episode today which featured an ad for a homophobic, extremist right wing Christian’s podcast. Didn’t realize I was supporting a host whose target audience is bigots.

angry2029Too many adsI used to love this podcast but the increasing number of ads throughout has made it intolerable to listen to.

It is a 5Not too much wooA friend recommended this podcast. I’ve been binging a bit and absolutely love it. While much of the content is a bit “woo woo”, Eric always brings it back to the concrete and life applicable.

ysd3000Please stop advertising for StarbucksI love your show, but am disappointed that you are advertising for Starbucks, which is an awful company. Please research the companies you advertise & how they interact with the world & their employees.

BP WriterExcellent PodcastRecently came across the One You Feed podcast and love it! Each episode has quality content! Really appreciated your conversation with Greg Kretch. Didn't know anything about Japanese therapy and learned so much! This is an amazing episode that really resonated with me. The 3 questions to ask yourself about relationships was so good! Tons of amazing takeaways.

jaxonsmom2017Amazing podcastI had this podcast stored in my library for quite a while before I listened to it and finally listened to my first episode and am totally hooked! Eric is such a wonderful interviewer and the guests have been so helpful for me at this time in my life. I’m also a recovering addict and my husband is in a rehab facility as I write this review starting his journey to recovery and I’ve just gained so much from this podcast. Thank you so much for everything you do Eric and please keep them coming!

Alli Cat 72Great insights but the music startles me.This podcast is very insightful, and I do enjoy it. Unfortunately, I’m not able to listen to it as often as I would like because I use my podcast time to wind down at the end of the day. The rock music / electric guitar doesn’t feel congruent for the mood that I am in when I want to listen to this show. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy rock music, if I am getting ready to work out, do chores, or go to a social gathering. But, when I’m in a contemplative mood and trying to listen to something meaningful, it’s disturbing to hear the rock music. Then, I need to turn off the podcast to keep myself from feeling irritated. Also, the parable is cool at the beginning at first, but over time I am getting really tired of hearing it over and over with each guest. I think it’s fine to describe it at the beginning introduction, but at this point, asking each guest to have to answer that question is starting to feel a bit redundant, and I just would prefer to get on with the show. I know others may feel differently and I am sorry to be sounding negative…. For the most part, I really enjoy the show which is why I wanted to provide this feedback. Thank you for all your hard work creating this show… I really value the meaningful content you share with us. ❤️

mshadriOne of the most consistent and interesting podcasts I listen to each weekThis podcast features intelligent conversation on a variety of topics each exploring the path to a better life. The host is smart, informed and well prepared and the variety of guests makes each week unique while the opening parable provides a consistent structure and starting point for the conversation. Give it a listen. You’ll definitely learn something.

TuckDebIntelligent and full of actionable insightsI think this is one of the most relevant podcasts out there for living your best life. I always learn something new from listening that helps me be at my best. Bravo Eric and team! O-H!

E94903One of my favorite podcasts stillBeen listening for a number of years and still love Eric and his incredible interview skills. He is so intuitive in knowing what listeners want to know. I love the consistency of the parable at the beginning of each episode and I love the music because it is homegrown and unique in that he and his best friend create it together - it actually is really sweet that a podcast as successful as this keeps the original homegrown feel. I appreciate that Eric is authentic in his sharing of his own life experiences with listeners.

jahmz07Always outstanding! This has been a favorite podcast of mine for years and even after all this time I am still always learning something new from Eric and his guests. Eric is a superb interviewer and host and the conversations are always fresh, engaging and useful. The One You Feed podcast has been a light for me during some really dark times and a constant source of inspiration and wisdom. I’m very grateful!

New 2296Oh it’s Ginny not JennyJust listened to latest episode, was initially annoyed that Eric had his girlfriend on again, but realized with Eric’s insecurities she’s a huge support, & driving force. Looking forward to the eventuation of her as the host. Also agree with the other reviewers that reading out the parable Every Single episode gets so irritating having to fast forward through it. That and the ‘music’ breaks erratically thrown in. Hopefully once Ginny is official there will be a revamp! Still, it’s good content and Eric’s vulnerable honesty on his lack of expertise on topics other than addiction has been a helpful way to reinforce the practice of beneficial habits.

fraudpatrolOnly one host please and not womanLiked this podcast without funny—she fills the space way too much and does t slow a meditative conversation—she made me nervous so couldn’t listen. Sorry.
-
DonotdownloadyouarenotsafeMehThe metaphor at the beginning of each episode is so repetitive. It takes away the focus of the topic and becomes annoying when you hear it too much. The music is so awful as well. These two factors make me not want to listen to another episode.

cmsm0040Every time…Every time I listen to this podcast, I take notes and learn something new. I just listened to the episode with Jenny Blake. My big take away was COURAGE FOLLOWS ACTION. As a therapist, this is so true!! You will appreciate giving your time to listen. Do it! Now, I’ve just finished listening to Minaa B. Wow! Powerful!

officious buttressPractical psychological adviceI have not listened to much of this podcast, but based on the episodes about “abuses of power” the advice is sound and intelligent, insightful and reasonable as well as applicable to most anyone. Those patient enough to listen will likely find advice worth hearing.

BwbasingerI love this podcastI just started listening/binging this podcast. The interview with John Norcross on How To Make Lasting Changes is awesome. There are so many actionable nuggets of wisdom that I am relistening to absorb them all. I cannot get enough!!!
-
FtseEngaging and thought provoking on what we viewI am really enjoying this entire series. Every episode brings a different insight a different view on another’s experience. I think it’s important and entertaining and definitely not singular in its approach. Highly recommended to anyone interested in learning more about themselves on how to approach your feelings how to expand what you think you know and finding hidden gems when you least expect it.
-
BAACEG1969Life changingI discovered Eric’s podcast around 2015. I have been so grateful to see if evolve over the years. I appreciate the variety and depth presented here, which in my mind separates it from the vast number of “behavior change” podcasts out there. And as a psychotherapist, Eric and his guests offer me new ways to relate to client challenges and those of the many parts of myself. Grateful.

carmencita120Too many commercialsI was listening to a podcast and there were at least 2-3 commercials. Very annoying.
-
TheinteicateelfGreat title, great topic!Eric does a great job of coming from his own place of transformation in a way that is relatable and implementable. After 25 years in this field I have seen many coaches and facilitators doing a lot of podcasts - this one really gets it. Thank you!
-
verdedaflorestaVery thankful for this podcast!Wonderful host, wonderful guests. I so appreciate Eric’s calming voice and great insights. I resonate with most of the guests and always prefer the ones who don’t speak too quickly and have a calm presence. Thank you, Eric!

805 MMJudson Brewer episodeFavorite podcast, concise depth. One glitch today: The Judson Brewer episode ( late Dec22) cuts off around last 11min, but went to website to finish it .
-
fhgjgijljhrymidrvjSo muchThis is one of, if not, my favorite podcast. Eric has an amazing voice. His questions are pertinent and to the point without ever being rude. The topics are interesting with a variety of guests. 35 years ago my young son came home from school after getting in trouble …I asked him Why? He simply replied “Mom I have a red David on one shoulder and a white David on the other”. Feed the good one son.

desitravGreat podcastI like to read. However I’m a mother with two kids and sometimes it’s easier to listen to a podcast than to read. I take my child on walks to nap and listen to this podcast. This podcast often re centers me after the normal chaos of life, work and kids. It is easy to follow and understand but is full of knowledge. feel good energy. This podcast should be bigger than it is and I imagine it will be soon or perhaps it is and I just didn’t realize. I fortunately stumbled on this podcast . I recommended it to my mother and she loves it too.
-
ameegalNever failsThis is my “Go to” podcast.I learn so much and am inspired with every episode. As a psychotherapist I also recommend it to my clients. Life changing for me and for people I work with – thank you One and all at the One You Feed. Keep up the great work :-)

Nicole S, Fort LauderdaleSimply wonderful!I started listening to Eric’s podcast in 2020, and it’s been part of my weekly routine ever since. He curates a fantastic lineup of quality guests. I always feel better after listening to an episode.

Dee12777Grateful for this contentLong time listener to this fantastic podcast. I have learned so much and am grateful for the quality content on so many topics. I’m super happy for the creator that he is able to be compensated by having ads - he deserves it!!! I can only imagine the amount of work he has put in over the years! I hope he makes bank!! Thank you to the creator and team for this gift of a podcast. All the best fellow humans. Today I feed the good wolf.

Ghengus23Great show, horrible marketingI’d listened to your show with James Nestor. Very informative and an excellent podcast! The interviewer was well spoken and directed the conversation flow wonderfully. I was, however, EXTREMELY unimpressed by the three McDonalds commercials which were placed randomly throughout that particular show; what a terrible turn off. Please have your marketing department reconsider their target audience. Personally I do my best to shop organically and locally; we vote with our dollars and I’d love to see you include more consideration for your listeners by choosing your sponsors more carefully. Thanks for your excellent interviews! Get your advertising under control you’ve got a completely successful show ( from an audience’s perspective).

MamasteandthelittleOmsEpisode505 AssignmentWHAT: I am an educator and what I got from this episode were some new strategies (and a book I need to read) that may help me at my own classroom level, but also at a team and school level to bring some awareness to the experiences some of our more challenging students may be having from their perspective. SO WHAT: So now, in addition to wanting to read Sarah’s book, I can imagine taking time to create spaces within the day to be sure students feel seen and heard and represented through art displays, structured sharing time, and/or student selected activities that can be shared within the classroom/team. NOW WHAT: I would love to take the information I will learn in Sarah’s book and present some ideas to my administrators and team mates to try as we embark on a new school year starting in July!
