HxkskendkdkdldldMostly good… one bad eggI love Salks takes on the Mariners and appreciate his willingness to adapt to his opinion on roster construction and key stats (like strikeouts) as the times change. We’ve been waiting for you to come along and I’m so glad to see you moving towards the right side! Brock’s football takes are always informational and fill in knowledge gaps I have. His draft profiles this year were on point! Mora does a great job filling in gaps and coming up with fun segment ideas. Then there’s Lyle… who I should say I do like listening to and enjoy his Marine layer podcast. However, the whole routine of “never bunt it’s always a waste” is immature and naive. To say there’s absolutely zero reason to ever bunt brings the legitimacy of his baseball knowledge into question. Shame -Alec

Joah BlairLyle Lyle LyleI love this show - but hands down the best part is when I, a 15 year old high school football player know more about random things then Lyle. I mean who hasn’t heard of Gillian’s island?? That’s the absolute best part - sorry to rip on you Lyle but well Brock and Salk arguing comes in hot second, I think it absolutely is Lyle and his Lyleness. Why can’t everyone just be as Lyle as Lyle. Yes Lyle is now a verb.

GlaserowlSalk I still listen on hereBeen listening on the podcast form of the show for seven years now almost eight since I was 14. That’s crazy to say to be honest but it’s great, most of the time good takes, and good yap sessions as my generation would say

TimtomtimmOy Vey, Fine Already!Long-time listener, first-time guilt victim. On this day, May the 8th in the year of our Lord 2025, I finally caved. After years—YEARS!—of resisting, Mike Salk has officially Jewish mom-guilted me into leaving this stinkin’ 5-star review. Not even my actual Jewish mother has this kind of persistence. I can only assume Brock was complicit in this guilt trip or at least silently judging me with those disapproving dad eyes. Fine, boys. You win. Five stars. Now let me live in peace.

BuzzellBFun & Positive EnergyYou can always rely on this show to bring the sun out on a cloudy day (metaphorically speaking of course)

KingByron671The only sports talk I listen to!!Absolutely love the show!! Listen daily and love how I can listen on my own time

Chad2018Here you go Salk5 stars because I’ve meant to for 16 years and never got around to it. And I’m listening to the podcast and have to get this off my chest. This season is a lot like 2001 for a because going in the offensive expectations were low at best because ownership didn’t invest. But Brock brought up Al Martin…so here goes. Al Martin was the big trade deadline acquisition. It was a JOKE and typical of their ownership. Since that trade, we have had 24 years of desperation. The curse of Al Martin must be broken.

Vanillagorilla30Great showYour show gets me going every morning and hearing you guys always bring me a smile. Keep it up.

Archer LoafEnjoying from Ann ArborFrom Seattle but have lived in Michigan for 16 years. Brock and Salk weren’t even on the air when I left, but I’ve gravitated to this show. Was hard to make the time to listen live, but I’ve been tuning into the podcasts for a couple years now and especially while the Seahawks and Mariners are humming, it is vital!

ChelseyLynPA show moms love too!I started listening to the show live on a daily basis when I was a kindergarten teacher and moved to Kent after my husband got a new job. My commute went from 10 minutes to 40 or so as I traveled from Kent to Gig Harbor. However I didn’t mind, as catching up on sports news and listening to Brock and Salk was a nice way to relax before shepherding 20 something five years olds all day. Now I listen to the show on Apple Podcast as a stay at home mom of four as I fold mounds of laundry, do endless dishes, and clean up unknown substances…Thankful for a show that makes my daily chores less mundane and that I can still catch up on sports in this busy season of motherhood.
-
Kyleo84Great Show for Mariners FansI live in Illinois and listen live to the first half hour while getting ready for work...then listen to the podcasts of the show later in the day.

mckencbabti neCoercedSalk told me I wasn’t gonna see my son again unless I gave the show a 5 star review.

mikesalksburnerAm I missing something?Mariners win 5 series in a row and every headline on this podcast is about the draft? What’s going on? Do Brock and Salk have the seattle sports app? Do they even know what the Mariners are doing? Someone help them out.
-
JohnE in SeattleWhere’s the WNBA draft discussion?I really like the show, but I can’t believe that there was zero coverage of yesterday‘s WNBA draft in which the Storm took what looks like an extraordinary player with the second pick. Come on guys, it’s really OK to discuss women’s sports.
-
CazmaurerGreat showLove this show for years(since they had found out the name of the princess in the Disney Pocahontas movie was Pocahontas haha) love that they have opinions and I tune in to Blue 88 every day.
-
kalebjames2001Grew up listening to you guysHave always loved you guys but can we get rid of the oil rig commercial!? Mike I know you got some pull in that office, help the people (and the duckies) out! Let the Houston Astro’s radio station take that one.

08626481038465801ErmI sometimes enjoy this show but Salk’s takes on the M’s are not particularly good. It seems like he doesn’t follow baseball closely enough to know what they should do. Ryan Bliss is a second baseman. Luke Raley is a fine first baseman. First base defense is probably the least important defensive position in baseball. If you want more in depth insight on the M’s by people who follow baseball more closely, you could check out Locked on Mariners or the Mariner Layer Pod. Shoutout to Lyle.
-
RyanfromBallardGreat ShowI love the show. When I moved to Washington I didn’t have too many friends in the area and it was difficult at first but your show helped me find a comfort zone and feel like I was part of a community and I thank you all for that. Keep up the great work!

ProsserjohnEssential Morning ListeningThe Brock and Salk show has been a staple for my morning drives for years. They offer fair and thoughtful insight into our local sports, and do so without the bombasticness that we see in so many other sports shows. As a life-long Seattle Sports fan, I love that Brock and Salk boast hosts from each coast. Brock’s being from Puyallup gives him life-long experience and insight into the region and what matters to us. Salk’s being from Boston brings us a point-of-view that isn’t just the expected homer approach. Both are knowledgeable and they balance each other well. Their team is great, too. Always has been. Maura and Lyle are similarly insightful and balance the team with their own style and sense of humor. Brock and Salk always have interesting guests, and they are both skilled interviewers. Their replay of the previous day’s guest at 6:30am is appreciated, too, since my commute runs during their first hour.

jeremyjdrumsAwesome if annoyingBrock and Salk have developed an excellent rapport over the years as they present various Seattle sports topics and opinions, mostly Seahawks and Mariners. Salk is at times extremely annoying especially when in “what we are talking about??” mode, but his endearing qualities win out, particularly stories about his family, self deprecation, camaraderie with guests and cohosts, and true passion for sports and highlighting the compelling storylines therein. And he has many great insights because he doesn’t just echo the predominant opinions of others and has sufficient self esteem to withstand criticism and still be himself. Brock is sincere, adept, and brings his experience as a professional athlete plus tv color commentator and family / business angles to his contributions on the show. Maura, Lyle, and repeat guests like G Scott are excellent, and their individual personalities come through on the show. Overall I think their passion for radio and sports, plus commitment to presenting each day’s show as best as possible, make Brock & Salk the only Seattle sports show I listen to. Blessings to the whole crew and keep up the great work! ps - when the Sonics return will Salk consent to talking some NBA?

XdfgnhjkStop reading ratings!Reading your ratings to start a show is not sports. Petty, unprofessional, and for those who want sports, not good. Please do better, the market deserves better.
-
Bill#555666Daniel Kramer articleHow does a major sports radio go on the air say that Carlos Santana not signing with the Mariners is the same as the Trevor Story non signing. If you had done just a little research you would have known Santana started his career with Cleveland and his family is in Cleveland. This why I quit listening to your station.
-
CND3309Why am I here?4 hour show with 4 jerks answering questions- one of which comes an hour late every day and doesn’t work Fridays. The other 3 are occasionally late and when they are: listeners are rewarded with tone-deaf singing. Mind you, this is a sports talk show. Despite baseball analysis coming from a northeasterner with crankiness beyond his years and football analysis coming from a marriage pushing left-handed back-up quarterback, the show is actually good. Eventually you’ll find yourself listening for 15+ years and question why you tune in every day, but still will because you can’t rid of them like you can’t get rid of some family members.
-
Ryan CarYour Ads are terribleI really really hate your ads. They are terrible. You can decide to have better ads. Be more creative. But please stop.
-
Sea RawGreat Show!I’ve been listening to Brock and Salk for several years and I’m glad they are the morning show voices for Seattle Sports. They each have their own unique insight and opinions and know how to keep it light yet interesting. The guests they have on their show are phenomenal as well. Their show has become an integral part of my morning routine. I think they represent the Seattle market well.
-
Tata4255 Stars but…Great show. I enjoy the diversity of opinions between Brock and Mike, and even though they can be annoying at times, Salk’s intentionally contrarian takes are often humorous even if absurd; appreciate Brock’s lightheartedness and willingness to allow Salk to talk over him even when Brock knows Salk’s wrong; and I think Maura has a great sense of humor and the patience of a saint.

kslamsamBrock meet meIn Sitka on the 23rd captain tom is washed up!
-
Yonboi96Great showGreat sports show. Brock and Salk are very informative and entertaining. I work nightshift so I always make sure to listen in the late hours of the night. Also because Mike said he didn’t like the thought of people listening late at night. So now I purposely listen as late as I can… Go Mariners
-
NorthWestLivinA nice glass of milk! The Salk and Brock show does it's job admirably. It's the early morning warm-up to get the mental juices flowing in preparation for the in-depth analysis that follows in the Bump and Stacy show, the true gem of the 710 empire. As long as you don't expect too much from them, it will never disappoint.
-
Seattle sports lovrThe values of Salk don’t represent Seattle wellI used to love listening to Seattle sports radio everyday. But Mike Salk in particular makes me feel like I’m listening to a 49ers fan describe our team. It’s so off putting and so negative an anti-family friendly, I find myself turning it off more and more.
-
BradacudaSolid Seattle Sports TalkI can’t hate because I listen to them regularly and they are probably my favorite Seattle Sports radio duo. I think Brock and Salk have good chemistry and are (obviously) knowledgeable about the major Seattle teams. If you want a more in-depth podcast, go find a team/sport specific podcast. But, at the end of the day this is a radio show, redistributed on podcast apps. It’s hard to ever give that product 5 stars, because the four “episodes” each day are repetitive and inundated with ads. That all said, they are my go-to Seattle sports talk radio duo, and will choose them over pretty much anyone else to marinade over a big win (or loss).
-
HdydhsodjdhjdjfjshshejGreat showEveryone on the show has great chemistry and is always a fun and informative listen
-
Austinslater25Love you guys but…If you guys don’t make the Monday coach interview better I’m changing this to 3 stars. After a huge loss where Brock complained about Grubb(rightfully so) you ask him what makes Ernest Jones a great leader? Seriously? They’ve become unwatchable. I know you guys can do an awesome interview and I understand you have to keep the relationship good but I think you can ask some technical questions that all the fans want to ask in a respectful way. Asking about his favorite leaders of all time, or Witherspoons tenacity is a waste of time. I think Mike would be good with good football questions. Maybe you have a contract where you can’t because I don’t get it. Love you guys but please consider changing the format on the coach interview better
-
RSniffGreat dudes (and gal)Been listening from NYC since 2012. Brock and Salk help keep me connected to Seattle sports and beyond. Love Salk and I now forgive Brock for not helping me put my dislocated should back in at Houghton Beach volleyball court. 🎼 playing with the boys 🎼
-
Justin VesterGreat showI haven’t lived in Seattle for 20 years due to work moves, but still love all Seattle sports. This is by far my favorite Seattle sports podcast. Love the chemistry on the show. Salk is the headliner, but love Brock and Maura. You have excellent guests and talk the right amount of football and baseball to keep me interested. Salk gave you 5 stars! Your welcome!
-
%#}}]Awesome ListenLove the show! Great guests, thoughtful takes, and inside information about local sports. Keep up the good work Coach Salk!

pearlmojoHere’s the ThingSunscreen is annoying and swim shirts are lame. It’s up to you to make that annoyance-lameness calculation. Dare I say: do your thing Mike!

MacscompanyBest Seattle Radio ShowBrock and Salk have become the best radio show in Seattle and it’s not even close. One of the things that elevates them from all others is the fact that Salk can talk about baseball better than any other local person on the radio. My one complaint would be that they read too many stupid texts, particularly from Mariners fans. The average baseball fans knowledge about baseball economics is embarrassing. (Example: Lyle) Show me one owner in sports who spends more than they receive in revenue? If I could ask one question, it would be, who spends a higher percentage of their revenue, Yankees, Dodgers, or Mariners? My guess is it’s the Mariners. All you have to do is look at a map and see that a heck of a lot more eye balls in Los Angeles and New York than Seattle. It’s too bad MLB doesn’t share their TV revenue equally like the NFL. Unfortunately, the teams in the biggest cities will never agree to share their TV revenue, unlike the NFL.

seattletyMore Lyle please! Can’t wait for Lyle’s …man on the streets reports from M’s Spring Training!
-
JdVo15Best show in the PNWBest Seahawks and Mariner sports shows around! A little Gonzaga Basketball talk would be cool. I definitely could care a less about Brock’s and his Bow Down life but I get it.
-
MaxOnHawksbe better salkSalk should create his own daily podcast called let’s trade DK. Do we really need to hear on a daily basis why you think we should trade dk? It is the most drawn out topic on this show by a wide margin. But nonetheless i’m a daily listener and a big fan of all the shows on the network. -max

tufflovebecasueiloveyouThank goodness ranked is goneI said I loved this show and would write a new review when ranked was canned. Andddddd here we go. Love the show. Been listing since the beginning. It’s a staple in my life. Thank you for getting up early every day and providing some stability through the ups and downs (mostly downs) of being a Seattle sports fan.

Mr. ShickadanseFrom across the U.S.I have been a podcast listener since I discovered that it existed. Which would have been 2013 I believe. Back in the Brock
-
Dr. MindPretzelSolid morning sports radio programPretty typical sports radio show. Hot takes to drive engagement, standard coverage of local teams (Mariners and Seahawks, not much Kraken, Sounders or colleges) relevant local and national guests and interviews. A few negatives for me personally is the hosts talking over each other and talking over guests during interviews. The first hour of the show generally has a repeat interview from the day before which is odd for a podcast do they not have enough content to run a four hour show?
-
#CamasWAHey Man….Cheers to 5 stars! RIP Ranked.

Seattle Sports SuckerNo Salk Slander/Some Brock HateSalk is hated on by everybody for good reasons sometimes. (Doesn’t like the NBA, hates DK Metcalf with a fiery passion) But he also is not scared to push back which is good. I used to see Brock’s face on the Seahawks preseason games and decided to hate him for some reason. But I’ve come around as long as I’m not watching the video stream because I will call the cops if I see his face. But overall a great show and Here’s the thing is the best addition in a long time. Thanks Maura. Lyle, do better for all of us please
-
SousaryanSalk is the manBig fan of the show from southeast Idaho. Mostly only listen to Salk.. I get bored when Brock comes on sorry Brock. I think Salk is the anchor of this whole show
-
A12th man in MarylandBrock + Salk + Brock’s fingers snappingUrgency = finger snaps. Task of time = finger snaps. Playing fast = finger snaps. Anything that refers to getting things going = finger snaps. Brock and what I imagine are enormous fingers, consistently snapping away. Sort of annoying but strangely comforting…? Love the show.
