KimboqAll Ads & Stating the Obvious5 minutes of ads, 5 minutes of telling you to eat a healthy, well balanced diet (stating the obvious). and 5 minutes of *very lightly* touching on a particular concept.

Steff4578Unbiased and clearI love listening to the Nutrition Diva podcast. The hostess explains everything very clearly and covers a wide range of topics, but my favorite reason for loving this show, is that she doesn’t focus on fads and trends, just good old-fashioned facts and science.
-
TimmyTroEducational but too many commercialsI enjoy the topics and information but for a short podcast there are way too many commercials.
-
ohreally7Not sure it’s truthfulI did only listen to a couple of episodes but in the one she talks about how cereal isn’t bad for dinner like we think I myself find that to be unhealthy to promote as cereal does contain not only a ton of sugar and dyes but some are made from fillers which have no nutritional value

SAV 74Dairy industries treatment of animalsRoom for debate on how animals are treated. Really? The dairy industry has paid off everyone. Lost my trust-unfollowed.
-

G3BSSCLove this and wish I had found you sooner!!Great practical advice and delivered in a very understandable way. Love your analogies and reasoning. Benefit of finding you late is that there is a huge archive to listen to while waiting for new episodes. Btw I am a questioner too and that may be another reason why I love your format and approach to nutrition.
-
Number1absFavorite!!Obsessed with this podcast- Monica is so down to earth, and really presents both sides of each issue. Love!

kinsy761Clear, straightforward, usefulI’m learning so much! And I love how she dives right in. And I love her clear voice. None of the annoying chatter and fluff that characterize so many podcasts.
-
BeckytwoScience based nutrition infoNo fear mongering here. Basic, sensible, nutrition advice on current food issues.
-
Shel LynnS’s (need editing) & animal consumption promotion w/o warningS’s (need editing). There is animal consumption promotion w/o warnings regarding the dangers to humans and the planet from factory farming. It could be helpful to listeners also to offer more healthful alternatives to eating animals. Otherwise I love the show.

AmandaC123NHGood content, needs filter or micGood content but the “s”s are so sharp it’s like nails on a chalkboard. You need an audio filter or a new mic or different mic settings. It’s too distracting, I had to turn it off.
-

angrylfGoodbar?Do you realize what the book/film is about that you are playing on with this title? Yikes.

JoyfulkaraLove this podcastI’ve been listening to this podcast since the beginning. I love the evidence-based approach, but also she doesn’t talk about nutrition as a one-size-fits-all thing. I love that she also encourages people to to discipline and good habits with moderation and non-fanaticism. A balanced and sane approach to nutrition with facts, interesting guests, and a great host. And it’s one of the few podcasts I listen to that keeps under 20 mins most episodes. :) Keep on going, Monica!

AliceisalmostfamousMy Fav Podcast!I love how informative these podcasts are in such a short period of time! I can quickly listen on a short walk or drive to work! She has sooooo much information, you will absolutely learn something right away! Check her out!

Neb688Work on your titlesMy first podcast was about pandemic weight gain. I chose it because I gained weight during the pandemic. I was thinking there might be some insights about why it happened and how to make changes. Nope. It was just a lotta talk about how the news articles about the topic were hyperbole and people really didn’t gain, some lost weight during the pandemic. I skipped forward to see if there was any other info that could help me. Nope - still going on about pandemic weight gain being a hoax. Disappointing.

@MichaelUnbrokenGreat show✨✨I just wanted to take a moment and say thank you for creating such an impactful podcast! I believe that we all have a voice that deserves to be heard. Thank you for putting this into the world! BE UNBROKEN! @MichaelUnbroken

D GSALost listenerI’ve been a loyal listener for years now, but to turn on this most recent episode to immediately hear an add for planned parenthood?! NO THANKS. Immediately unsubscribe. I will not be supporting a NUTRITION podcast that is advocating for a company that takes advantage of women and supports the abortion of innocent lives.
-
Malini RtBiased and potentially harmfulThough I’ve only listened to a few of the episodes I feel the presentation is submissive to alternative treatments that may be very helpful by taking a small part of the treatment plan that may at first seem unpleasant and characterizing the entire protocol with that minor part. The lack of depth is astounding.

Casey22596Reading straight from Wikipedia?Literally sounds like the entire podcast is scripted/read from Wikipedia. She lists facts (credible source, unknown) every single podcast. And Ads. Ads. Ads. A new sponsor every episode. Would give no stars if I could. Probably the worst podcast I have listened to
-
lavy 016I am not sure the episode providing info on glucose syrup is correctThe host mentions that the source of sugar doesn’t matter and only the amount matters, well I am a food science professional and it’s well known in the industry that added sugars definitely is more harmful than natural or raw form of sugar. And hence FDA has come up with regulations on declaring added sugars on the nutrition facts so the consumer knows how much of the sugar is added as a form of processing and how much is naturally sourced. The source of sugar is definitely one of the considerations which should be taken into account while studying the effects of sugar on human body. Please provide accurate information as listeners do consider this podcast as source of info not very easily available. Thanks

AEC2416Good content but too many long ads.I would love to keep listening, but can’t handle the amount of ads.
-
KirstiLouiseCrisp, clear, concise, and helpfulJust started listening to this podcast and am already at least 30 episodes in. I love how short and concise they are, while still providing lots of facts and statistics.
-
KL1313Too much discussion of sponsorshipI listened to what was an 8-minute episode. During those 8-minutes, she talked about 3 separate ways to spend money in ways benefitting the show. That’s excessive for 8-minutes....the content was maybe 4.5-minutes.
-
Dan331Digestible!Love these bite-sized, easy-to-understand nutrition tips! Concise and useful!
-
sarahbrockwayGreat podcast! This podcast is so interesting, and there are soo many episodes to choose from. Sometimes I’ll listen to 3-4 at a time. Great for those who are trying to live a healthier lifestyle, or at the very least motivating.
-
Toto321Way too many adsI’ve listened for years and still do. Useful content-comprehensive yet economical in terms of time. But over the years the ADS!!! Too much time spent on ads that are too long for such a short podcast. 8 minute podcast, almost 4 minutes of ads? Tighten that up, bruh.
-
SusanNealYogaImprove your health and weightGreat podcast that give tips to improve your eating habits. The podcasts are nice and short so the host gets right to the point.
-
Tkd_GalI’m going to passThe information is interesting. While I understand the need for revenue through advertisements, it is annoying that 1) they interrupt already brief podcasts and 2) of the several I listened to, it is odd that none of her advertisers were healthy food makers. I really don’t care that Monica bought a Burberry sweater through one of the advertisers! Not worth subscribing to at all.
-
SweetpeaomineWANT SOME PODCAST WITH THAT AD?At least half of the podcast is advertising. No thanks! The information provided in the podcast is useful, but the benefit of tiny nuggets of knowledge imbedded in huge amounts of advertising is not worth my time.
-
jeanindcAdsIts more than half ads
-
Scoe.Science basedMost nutritional gurus just make stuff up. The scientific reality is that we really don’t know much about what’s good for you and what’s not even though 7 billion people are eating every day. Monica cuts through the latest science and debunks the myths. She takes the opposite approach of most overly confident, overly simplistic nutritionalists. Monica takes a nuanced view with a robust interpretation of the entire realm of science Many reviewer‘s have complained about excessive ads. I just fast forward through them. You get what you pay for and ads pay for it. My biggest complaint is that after 500 episodes, the topics often are rather obscure now. If you were a new listener, I’d recommend you go back and start from the beginning
-
podcastlistener2012Well researched, balanced adviceExcellent content that is well researched. Monica provides lots of practical advice on how to eat healthily while still living a balanced life. There are definitely too many adds, but I still enjoy listening because the quality of the content is so good.
-
Nikki.DPWay too many advertisementsWay too many advertisements especially for such a small amount of podcast time. I also don’t support the dairy industry sponsor due to their detriment on the earth and inflammatory effects it has on the body. Doesn’t seem to fit with a nutritional podcast.
-
beeniboi3It’s goodI’m liking it so far especially because I have ADHD
-
LidgameHalf of the time is ADsI understand ads are needed for the great information to continue. But half of the podcast time is too much. Lost patient
-
Parx617Ruined by So Many AdsThe content is solid and the delivery is interesting, but the number of ads makes this just about unlistenable.
-
Tela LynnLess Promotion More ContentOf a 10 minute podcast majority was promoting products 👎🏻
-
Bphil86Too Many AdsI like the content but she pushes too Many products
-
OrganicForLifeCutting EdgeWhat you get from this podcast is not current cutting-edge science. That science is dramatically changing how people think about how our bodies work and what we can do to influence successful working of our body long pass star sell by date. You don’t find that information in this podcast. So if you have a health problem you are trying to deal with keep looking. What you need may be out there.
