    My New Favorite Podcast
I should start by saying I didn’t think I would enjoy this podcast at first. I was unsure about the format. I was use to the storytelling style of Lore or Mr. Ballen and the like. Boy was I surprise. I didn’t know what I was missing. Sightings is phenomenal. My family and I are addicted. We do frequent road trips and are always listening to creepy, mysterious, campfire like stories. We are suckers for a good story and Sightings has quickly became our new favorite go to podcast. I can’t recommend it enough. If you enjoy well written, researched, storytelling this is the podcast for you.

This is my favorite podcast I listen to this when I’m sleeping I listen to this when I’m eating I listen to this when I’m walking it’s perfect how they do this the only con though is that they only post once a week and it gets repetitive sometimes... but overall a great podcast!

    I want more!!
I love love love this show! The writing by Brian is amazing, the storytelling by McCloud is awesome and the stories are fantastic! The only thing is that I wish there was one every day! Keep up the good work guys and I look forward to hearing more!

    Interesting take
Like the title says it’s an interesting take on the mysterious side of our world. Love their banter and interactions they have with one another, will definitely continue to listen.

    All Around GREAT Show!
I love all parts of this show! The stories are well written and the reading is done well. Super interesting stories and I’ve gone through all episodes in about two weeks. The last part of each episode is just as great as the first when the hosts talk about where the story came from and what parts are true. I need more!

    Top Tier
Genuinely one of the best podcasts I’ve ever come across. I have yet to miss a single episode. These two are amazing story tellers, the cases/events spoken of are seriously mysterious (to say the least), and the vibes are truly immaculate.

    Love the show!
Between the stellar writing and amazing voice work, this is now my favorite podcast. I look forward to the weekly installments. I've also been enjoying the listeners stories. I have one of my own, perhaps one day I'll send it in. Keep up the awesome work.

    Fantastic listen!
The perfect mix between a story and discussion. The written dramatic interpretation of the stories they find is as wonderful as the acting. A truly perfect duo. One of the podcasts I REALLY look forward to weekly. Cheers and thanks for a fabulous escape every week!#skepticalagnostic

    My favorite podcast
One night I was having trouble falling asleep and I stumbled across this podcast when it only had three or four episodes and I love it immediately and I couldn’t wait for the next episode to come out and I like this podcast in particular because it tells you a story that actually makes me feel like I’m there while it’s happening. If you’re impatient like me there’s another podcast that’s similar to this one except it’s only listener stories. It’s called “paranormal mystery’s with Nic Ryan” so you can listen to that while you’re waiting for another story from McCloud and Brian.

Once a week is not enough. I need more skeptical gecko/believer beaver stories!!

    Very Original
Easily one of the best true crime podcasts. I love the art direction and sound design. The accents are also a very nice creative touch.

My new favorite podcast since it came out. It really saves my boring Mondays. I like that this podcast isn’t exactly like every other horror/supernatural podcast. It really has its own vibe and I LOVE it! 🖤

Beauty in a messed up way!
Ok first, you guys are like a breath of fresh air that I look forward to during my weekly binge of true crime. Thank you for that. This last story that someone send in with the owl perched outside of his window!!! Omg! I shrieked as I was handed my Starbucks drink. Back to the review, this podcast is great! It really has a bit of everything in it. At times I find myself laughing out loud, shrieking, sitting in a suspenseful frozen state waiting for what comes next… I 100% recommend listening to these great guys if you haven’t yet! P.S. Can you just once try a female voice just for my own entertainment haha (You are truly amazing at voices) ~Mirandi

the ad placements are so awful that they ruin the flow of the story. this podcast used to be so good.

    Greta show…but know your audience
Why are you pushing a pyramid scheme podcast on this channel? Clearly isn’t your target audience, don’t sell out this quickly.
  • Jingalls73
    Love the show!
We need to expand our minds and realize that there is more to life than what we think.
  • Patchoulidrop
    Top notch acting and writing
I like the format of audio fiction based on accounts for half and a discussion of the report the second half of the episode. They took good criticism and stopped being so bro like the first few episodes. Iykyk. Also my favorite podcast image. It’s so spooky.
  • Mozzarella cheese stick OK?

Why would I pay $45 to listen to commercials? Lame. What did I pay for?
  • LocalLister01
    Love the show but
It’s not Kenny-wah. It’s Ka-nawh. Takes me right out of the story when pronunciations are mangled.

    My New Favorite
Love the format of the narrative story before the facts. The voices of the hosts are pleasing to listen to and the banter is at a sweet spot… not so much that you get bored, but still enough to start to get to know the hosts. I look forward to it every week now.
  • CaptainKane1984
    Needed this
The only thing I don’t like about this show is that I didn’t come up with it! Great stories, great narration. Bravo.

    AMAZING
I do not get the bad reviews!!! Highly entertaining! All the other creepy podcasts here aren’t the greatest, but they are okay

    A welcome change of pace
This podcast didn’t initially grab my attention as I’d hoped, I thought it just wasn’t my vibe. However, I quickly grew the love it. The various supernatural, paranormal, and true crime podcasts I’ve enjoyed over the years have all seemed to follow a very specific format and Sightings is welcome change of pace to a genre that is not only tried and true, but tired. The dramatization at the beginning of the episodes is on point, well-written, and well-performed. The breakdown at the end is enlightening, thoughtful and just the right amount of humorous. Keep it up, you guys. I’m hooked.

Unique take on spooky stories with great sound design and one of my fave audiobook narrators
I don’t get the bad reviews, the show is more for entertainment value than deep fact dives but it does that really really well and definitely held my interest. I love how each new episode the stories are set up a little differently so you never know exactly what You’re going to hear and the host is always careful to point out any embellishments he makes for the sake of entertainment value. Definitely a fun listen and worth giving a try, especially if you’re into audiobooks. McLeod Andrews is one of the best narrators out there and the perfect person to act out these little stories as he manages to make it feel like each is being told by a completely new person

    A lot of fun
I really enjoy how much fun these guys have doing this podcast. It’s like two nerdy friends (no offense, I’m a nerd too), just getting together and playing around with some great stories!
  • Admin/Admin
    Yeah, no.
Dyatlov Pass was the last ep I’ll subject myself to. Highly fictionalized stories trying to be passed off as real, ugh. I haven’t taken biology since high school and *I* could tell you that wildlife will start chomping on a dead body (which many have explained what McCloud couldn’t figure out). These guys can’t decide if they’re telling creepypastas or real stories—they should stick to the former.
  • Omg so brilliant
    XD omg so goooooddd :>
I love this it’s so good and it gives me the chills every time I here about it. I just finished the Loch Ness monster one and I would have loved to be there.
  • M.H. Merc
    What is this show?
These two are clearly not well versed in these stories of high strangeness. Then the writer just makes up stuff to fill in the gaps or make it a better story. I just listened to the Loch Ness episode and could not believe my ears. I’ve heard a great deal of Nessie stories but this sounded like the script of a terrible SyFy channel movie. This podcast is more a kin to creepy pasta than any other show approaching the subject matter seriously. If you’re into high strangeness, I would look elsewhere.

This podcast is sooooo good!! XD
Hello! My name is spade, I love this podcast so much!!! I used to never listen to podcasts but this made me enjoy a podcast of the first time like ever! I’ve recommended it to most people I know already!
  • AlecBdell
If I don’t see it, it must not exist
Seems like these guys are riding on the whole phenomena coattails with the title and the spooky stories. However, it just seems like it all comes down to “if I can’t see it with my own eyes then it must not exist”. Meh. Not interested.

    What We Need
This podcast has so much potential. Please support what these gentlemen are doing. True crime & real stories, shared via spectacular storytelling (in terms of both writing and verbal reiteration), followed by an active discussion between two people who clearly enjoy each other’s presence. Yes. Yes yes yes. I sincerely hope the momentum that’s deserved is what’s received. Thank you both for having the courage to share what makes you smile with excitement.

    Sightings got Talent
I thought Mcleod was Corey Feldman. 🤣😂 His voice acting is note-worthy but this type of podcast isn’t my forte. It’s good for what it is. I’ve heard worse. But I prefer first-hand accounts. One of my faves is Otherworld with Jack Wagner. Give it a listen!
  • JamieLG80
    Recommend
I really enjoy the storytelling and production. I’m not a huge fan of the commentary afterwards, kinda a downer for me. They just try to debunk the topic right after you get into the story. Leaving on a positive note though, They do write and narrate an amazing story, giving it a feel like your in the middle of everything that’s happening.
  • Newtbloms
    Easy on the ears
I love spooky cozy podcasts without a bunch of jarring unrealistic sound affects. I also find the banter afterword to be pretty good, even though I’m not that into the conversational podcasts. I hope they make a lot of episodes. It’s perfect for falling to sleep to.
  • LiquidChaos66
    Baffling…
I don’t understand how these people can NOT know about known cryptids like Sasquatch, the Patterson Gimlin film, basic popular general paranormal encounters and folk lore. The show is ok, the stories told have the hosts’ artistic additions and ‘creative writing’ to the stories told that detract from the true story being told. It’s ok to listen too absentmindedly in the background. These guys are just kinda stupid about the subjects they are sharing and don’t seem to bother doing legit research into their topics before recording.
