What a great, informative learned show. Josh is a knowledgeable So. Cal. attorney with such class, professionalism and just plain down-home legal chat. If you’re looking for fact-based legalese, informative true-crime tidbits, with great graphics and a professional presentation, search no more. The chat box is friendly, homey, and doesn’t give the “scaries” one tends to feel when offering opinions. It’s truly a fun place to be!

Josh’s perspective is always professional and insightful. This is one of my absolute favorite true crime podcasts!

I love this podcast, and Josh Ritter in general. His voice is so calming and dare I say dreamy? The show is informative, I learn something every time I listen. It truly adds to the stories, hearing the reasons why something happens in court the way it does. I feel like it’s a crash course in law school - the Elle Woods way - fun and educational. I don’t miss an episode!

I love the unbiased reporting and the simple breakdowns for those not familiar with the law. Too many creators are putting judgement out on cases towards pro guilt before a trial even begins. We are all innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, thanks for keeping it classy and informative.

I truly enjoy a podcast that is based on FACTS… This podcast is exactly FACT based information. Joshua is great in that his “case note” covers straightforward facts. Joshua does NOT give false/misleading information. In this day and time, with so much coverage on a wide variety of true crime cases, countless content creators are horrible at adding false information. Joshua keeps the cases FACT BASED. Thank you for your honest and fact based coverage.

As someone who had all but burned out on true crime pods, this one was right on time for me. Unlike so many others, I did not find a big ego in this podcast; instead, I found a host who is genuinely kind to the listener, a host who covers a range of cases with compassion and grace, a host who cares almost as much about the why as the how - who also happens to be a brilliant attorney with experience on both sides of the v. Deep dives, weekly updates, real-time analysis - there’s something here for all!

Maybe it’s because Josh has worked both prosecution and defense, but I can hear how knowledgeable and passionate he is about the law. He’s also passionate about sharing his insight and love for it. There is no ego in his presentation of the cases he covers and that alone is so refreshing. Highly recommend.
