    Such a Gem
This is such an entertaining and informative podcast for anyone interested in getting more into the classics. Faith Moore is such a lovely person and it feels like you are sitting with a good and very knowledgeable friend as she talks through her favorite book. I look forward to every episode and am so glad to have found this wonderful gem of a podcast!

Never have the time (or will) to read any of the classics?
This podcast is such a wonderful idea. I have always wanted to read more classics but haven’t made time for them. Faith adds just the right amount of “notes” and discussion to make it feel a bit like a book club and to help you understand some of the trickier language and context. I am specifically excited about reading The Woman in White because it’s one I had never heard of before and probably would never have picked up, and I have been loving it. I’m impatient for each new episode to come out. I hope that Faith will organize each book into “seasons” so that it will be easier to go back to previously read books as time goes on. Right now I am backtracking and listening to Jane Eyre in between the release of The Woman in White episodes, and it is sometimes a pain to scroll so far back to try to find the correct episode. Keep them coming, Faith!!

    Best podcast in my player
I’ve always wanted to read the classics but, as a working mom of four who does a lot of reading, the classics always fall to the bottom of the pile. Enter Storytime for Grownups! Faith does a wonderful job of adding notes to her lively reading style, including recaps and listener letters, making for a delightfully comprehensive yet relaxed listening experience. I’m hooked! Thank you Faith K. Moore, for this terrific podcast.

    I LOVE this podcast!
I have tried reading classic books over and over again, but always give up because they are hard for me to understand. A friend told me about Storytime for Grownups so I gave it a try with her reading of Pride and Prejudice (one of my favorite movies). I was IMMEDIATELY hooked! This story has become so real to me and this has also given me confidence to try more classics. Thank you Faith Moore for creating this beautiful podcast!

    Brilliant!
This show is so entertaining and informative! Faith Moore is a wonderful reader, narrator, commenter, teacher, and host. She’s delightful, which makes the show a pleasure. The books are great and her commentary and analysis makes listening to them even more fun and satisfying.

    Enjoying this “classic” podcast!
A longtime ago lit major who managed to escape a few of these classics, I’m delighted to discover them anew as an older and possibly more appreciative “student.” Ms. Moore is inspiring her listeners to leave aside the shifting sands of culture and dig into timeless works of truth and beauty. And may I suggest a more excellent use of the time we have been given.

    This is perfect!
I absolutely love this podcast. Faiths voice is perfect and calming but also keeps me engaged with the book. I love the commentary explaining things while reading it’s short and sweet and doesn’t take away from the reading and the questions/answers at the beginning make understanding so much easier. Thank you!

    Pride & Prejudice
Really enjoying the Pride & Prejudice series! My book club girls and I are reading/listening to the Jane Austen books this year and having this podcast with the little notes mixed in as well as the narration has really helped!

I just found your podcast and enjoying the reading of Jane Eyre, one of my all time favorites. Unfortunately, every time you refer to how to find you and you mention x, you lose me. The owner of this company is a facist and doesn’t deserve any recognition. Perhaps you should consider leaving twitter?

Always waiting on pins and needles!
I love this podcast! I typically hate audio books and classics aren’t my cup of tea…yet every week I find myself anxiously awaiting the next episode. I love the way she stops to explain what’s happening without disrupting the flow of the story and the recap she does before each episode. I’ve listened to Christmas Carol and The Woman in White (as much as been released) and can’t wait to go back and do Pride and Prejudice later this month!

    Fantastic
I just discovered this podcast and am in season one. I read Jane Eyre many years ago and enjoyed it very much. I love Mrs Moore’s reading so much. Her pauses to explain a word or phrase are perfectly timed and much appreciated.

The thing I was searching for.
This podcast! I will start my post by saying I am not an avid reader like I once was. But I have always wanted to read the classics and in particular Jane Eyre. I was a little intimidated but the reader on this podcast has perfect little notes and does not give the story away. I love her And this podcast. They are like a step away from a busy world into the past with beautiful language, and in Jane Eyre at least, our relationship with Christ as Christian’s, a discussion on womanhood and what that means. It has been an incredible journey. I’m looking forward to the next book. ❤️

    My new obsession
Obsessed with listening to classic novels? I never would have guessed it for myself 😂 but, here we are! I love how Faith reads, the additional notes are perfect. Even though she has a strong grasp of classics, she knows exactly when the average person needs an explanation of outdated language or customs. I binged Christmas Carol and Jane Eyre (loved it!!) and now I’m listening to Pride and Prejudice and thoroughly enjoying it. I’ll be sad when I fully catch up and have to wait for new chapters!

    Wonderful escape!
I have been binge listening to Jane Eyre and am thoroughly enjoying listening to a novel I was always too intimidated to read. I love Faith's light analysis -just the right amount and am excited to get to the other novels too. Faith is a delight and her passion shines through! And no tests or essays!!

    Storytime for Grownups
I love Faith’s Storytime. She does a great job reading the books. As soon as I saw “Pride and Prejudice” included, my all time favorite, I had to binge-listen to it. Faith did it justice and I learned new ways of looking at the story through her excellent commentary.

    Wonderful!
This is a lovely, lovely podcast and now the highlight of my evening. My husband and I do brew a pot of tea each evening, and get cozy in our arm chairs, and listen with eager ears for the next chapter! We love how beautifully Faith reads and we love the little notes and insights she inserts very gently. We started with “A Christmas Carol” and now we’ve moved on to “Jane Eyre”. We’re having so much fun!

The perfect entry point for ENJOYING classic books
Faith Moore opens the wardrobe door, inviting us into a world of great stories. She adds just the right amount of clarification as she reads the text—just enough to help, but not so much to jolt you out of the story. Perfect for someone like me who misses AP English. Ha!

    Joyful and lovely pod
After reading Faith Moore’s novel, Christmas Karol, I was intrigued to learn she had this podcast. Her joyful approach to the content is like a lovely break from the political podcasts. She’s a gem, and she thoroughly appreciates her listeners. It’s just fun.

    Exceptional Contrnt
I learned about this podcast and author, Faith K. Moore, via her father, Andrew Klavan’s Daily Wire show. Mrs. Moore reflects the family intellect in her presentation and interpretation of classic books that I’ve read or meant to read decades ago. Her voice is clear and engaging, which demonstrates her enthusiasm for each book while encouraging me to keep returning. The classics of the past help us to better understand our current world. I am grateful that I found this podcast, which is providing respite from our own often turbulent culture. Keep the Faith!

    Genuine & Fun
In this world I have been fortunate to stumble upon some of the most real people on the planet. I don’t believe a single smidge of this podcast is performance. I think we’re getting the genuine article in Faith… a humble, inspired teacher. I enjoy these presentations so much. Godspeed!
