Elon, Inc.

Elon Musk’s sprawling business empire has granted the billionaire a degree of power and global influence that transcends the industries he’s reshaped. He is the leader of no fewer than six hugely influential companies, spanning electric vehicles to wartime communications, and their innovations could shape the fates of nations.

Musk is polarizing, confounding and inescapable. And he is the biggest business story of our time.

Each week, listen in as host David Papadopoulos convenes a panel of Bloomberg Businessweek journalists who are tracking Musk’s companies and the surprising ways they intersect. They break down the business mogul's latest moves and analyze what they could mean for us all.

Tesla vehicle parts manufactured outside of USA
Trump wants ALL vehicle manufacturing to be made IN the USA. Besides the US (I live about 100 miles from the Fremont factory), Tesla appears to have a number of manufacturing facilities in China and Europe, as well as a couple in Canada (close to the US border) and a gigafactory in Monterrey, Mexico (200+ miles from Bolsa Chica, TX). From my quick online search, a lot of the Tesla vehicle parts are a joint combination of manufacturing in America/Canada — the chart I found did NOT distinguish the specific amount between the 2 countries. Trump’s tariffs on Canada, and Mexico, as well as Europe and Asia (China) — wouldn’t those tariffs have an impact on the price of a Tesla, beginning April2? Does Musk get any special dispensation against Trump’s tariffs because of their personal and DOGE relationship? Has any reporter asked Trump (or Karoline Leavitt) this question? Is there any known analysis that has been done and is publicly available? Thanks for your podcast to which I have been listening for about a year now.

    Podcast review
Clearly these three hosts are confused and by no means understand much of anything Elon does let alone understand how his companies run. Week after week these weird hosts are puzzled yet Elon’s companies thrive. This failing podcast is all about these confused hosts and nothing like Elon.

    Intriguing but too fan boy/fawninf
Dana especially is so irritating with the fawning ans her assessment that Tesla sales won't be materially hurt is naive and delusional. Check the latest sales in the EU!
  • DanielWGreen
    Overt lie and strong bias
One of the hosts said USAID was created by law so the president lacks the authority to destroy it. In reality it was created by executive order by JFK . Clearly very biased against Musk. No objective coverage or differing opinions. If you're OK with all that maybe you'll enjoy

    Unbiased reporting on Elon Musk
Elon, Inc. does a good job of demystifying Elon Musk both removing the devil horns some think he has and bringing him down from the pedestal that his fans project him onto. The reporting digs into Elon’s true motivations which many wish were not true. But they also give Elon credit for work he is unfortunately exceptional at.
  • Talola
    Much better lately
Now that the hosts have recently stopped the obligatory fluffing of Elon Musk, the podcast has become a much more valuable source of reporting and analysis of Musk’s extraordinary influence on current events.
  • RainierBeach
    Strong Left Bias
I enjoy the show, but the leftist bias is very strong. Would be more enjoyable if the show was more balanced, but the hatred of Elon Musk has grown stronger since he switched to the right.
  • Honest-Feedbackk
This show needs a lot of work…
Episodes are lackluster and the host always seems to push an agenda. Now they’re advertising other crappy shows like A Rod who nobody cares for anymore. Really? Get some new hosts.
  • d.n26
    Taylor Swift
Was a longtime fan until Elon Musk threatened to impregnate Taylor Swift for voicing a political opinion and the so called journalists just laughed it off and moved on. Despicable coverage, especially from Dana. So disappointing.

    Don’t listen for financial advice.
These liberal crybabies guess wrong literally every single episode. They don’t tell both sides / everything is slanted to smear Elon. Yet Musk dunks every single time and these three goons keep pushing the opposite narrative. Get over it. Elon won the election, and he’s your new president. Bow down. Ha ha ha ha

    A great show !
There are so many things going on with Elon. For an influential person like him , I wanted to know how he has become who and what he is today . This show really brings all the elements surrounding Elon together , as well as experts analyzing and commenting on. It is awesome and insightful. Thank you .

    Musk bashing
Musk badhing. That is pretty much the substance of this podcast. Very uncharacteristic and different from most unbiased Bloomberg content.

    Thinking Critically
Most recent episode on Cybertruck Is the hosts are suggesting lack of sales, and for the reasons they are pointing out is all over the place. Is it a demand issue? Or is it a production issue? Is it not selling because it is to expensive? Does that mean if the foundation series ends ($20k cheaper) does that mean it will sell better? It seems to me the hosts are throwing everything at Elon and Tesla “just” to make it negative I thought journalism should try to be objective and try to look at both sides, host are accusing X but in my view they themselves are more extreme (in X you can always post an counter argument)

    Good, engaging analysis
Really appreciate the analysis that supplements the reporting on Musk that's available elsewhere.

    Genius Idea and Great Execution
I enjoy hearing all the updates and insights that regard Elon Musk. He’s becoming such a polarised individual, but either way, he’s very influential to the world. Keep up the great work!
  • Curious7766
    save your 30 mins.
Bloomberg should can this know-nothing pod before it erodes an otherwise great journalism brand.
  • PhysicsIsReality
    Obvious Bias
Obvious bias against Elon Musk. You cannot title the show “Elon Musk, Inc.”, make money off his actions, and then dump on his every turn. The brand does not match the execution. Poor show with jealous hosts.
  • m40dotcom
    Great guests
Nice to hear the level-headed guest Earl (FrunkPuppy) opposite the Elon never-done-wrong super fan Ron Baron. Earl, although often toxic, is the stable genius we need for times like these.

Great topics, but too much bias!
I like the idea of a single podcast the covers everything related to Elon Musk’s businesses. I listen to the podcast because it’s a great way to keep up with what’s been happening within these areas; however, the show is generally biased against Musk and especially against X and Tesla. Please be aware of your bias and try harder to be objective. I will update my review if I see a change in the direction of more objective and thorough journalism.

    Hit piece by Elon haters
This podcast is a steaming pile of hot garbage cooked up by losers who hate Elon just because. Don’t waste your time on it.
  • Alec Lasham Taylor
    Surface-level reporting with a far-left bias
Elon Musk is a great subject for a podcast, but unfortunately this podcast doesn't dig much deeper than the headlines. The podcast would benefit from hosts that present the facts and keep their personal opinions to themselves. Also, there are more ads in each episode than on any other podcast I subscribe to.
  • J_R777

    Great podcast!
Each episode is packed with insightful discussions, well-versed guests, and thought-provoking topics. Highly recommended !!

    Fluff central
Very, very topical, concerning whatever the latest Elon related headline is. If you follow Elon or any of his companies closely, you will not hear anything on this pod you didn’t already know, or that wasn’t painfully obvious. Hilarious to see Elon/Tesla fanboys rating this 1* because “too critical” and “don’t understand Elon”. I’m rating it 1* because they’re not critical enough.

    Horrendous
One of the worst podcasts I’ve listened to in the last year.
  • leamdav1184
    I like the show, but….
David Papadopoulos has to go. He is condescending and just kind of dismissive of most of the people doing the reporting. Clearly there tonjust drive to the end of the allotted time. The content is good. Max and other contributors are great and do good work. Just can’t hand David leading this thing.
  • Geumpyhistory
Ooh the fanboys are out in reviews
I’d give it a 4/5, but I had to read so many low reviews hawking the tired “oh, they mentioned anything about the cultural impact of the richest man with the biggest megaphone, they are woke boohoohoohooohooooooooo”. So I’m balancing with a five. There is some repetition as it follows Elon’s moves in real times. Is Elon a genius? Almost certainly. Is he also increasingly shooting from the hip because it gets him a frothing mouth following? Also almost certainly. It’s important to keep our eyes on power. This isn’t a historical biography of Elon. It’s a regular discussion from people who follow his actions and impact for a living. It will keep you abreast.

    Disappointing
I thought this would be a unbiased, interesting podcast about an amazing man who has literally changed the world. Instead, it simply focuses on criticizing pretty much every action that he takes and never gives proper credit for all he has accomplished. Unsubscribed.

Disappointing - Bloomberg roundtable designed to criticize Elon Musk
Very disappointing. A roundtable of whiners criticizing someone that they clearly don’t like or understand. Don’t waist your time.
  • JZ_q
    Disappointing so far
The show follows Elons actions in real time, which is a great concept. Given Elon is arguably the most brilliant , successful, and innovative person on earth it is unfortunate that the show is light on serious insight and analysis on his projects and visions, and too much of a bunch of liberal lightweights showing their contempt for him.
  • fried_potatoes_0i
    Why the smear?
I love Bloomberg because they focus on business over politics. This is so off-brand I’m confused. Who are these pundits and why is Bloomberg giving them the green light to simply bash Musk? It doesn’t feel balanced or fair at all, having me question the Bloomberg brand.
  • AMS123iPhone
    Mostly Woke Elon Bashing
Was hoping for an interesting discussion of Elon and his businesses. Unfortunately, they spend way too much time with woke concerns about tweets and politics. There are much more interesting discussion to have, bring in some serious reporters.

Low Quality “Elon Bad” by Team Diversity
Was looking forward to this podcast after hearing the description on Odd Lots, sadly they brought out the hateful, biased, ignorant woksters who try to one up each other on “Elon Bad”. No insight, analysis, just the boring old hit job with annoying uptalk. Fire these losers, and try to find some real journalists/analyst, or just give up Bloomberg. However, If you're s loser in life, socialist, or Elon hater with no curiosity how a man innovates industries, this is the podcast for you.
  • thisNickNickName
    Just a smear pod
The hosts are big mad that Elon isn’t full democrat. There, saved you hours of listening
  • Drake Frobisher
    Fan but…
To understand Musk, read Isaacson’s book first or at least as you listen to this podcast. Elon is so remarkably different from anyone else (ever?) that to judge or evaluate him based on snippets of information makes full understanding impossible. This podcast provides a very useful running tally of his zigs and zags through the human trajectory and is essential to building a understanding of the man, if that’s even possible.
  • Login23453
    Arrogant 20 something hosts
They sound as if they are ripping Ashley because she not cool like them in the 12th grade. I’d be surprised if they have written anything more insightful than: “how to get that hot guy’s attention in homeroom, a guide.” If you listen to this podcast you will be dumber at the end.
  • do_da_math
    Save your Time
Here is the show’s premise - Get several very stupid people on a podcast, have them try to wrap their minds around how the smartest person in the world’s mind works and watch them fail miserably (as expected) and resort to parroting the typical radical left wing talking points you would hear on MSNBC. Save your time, there is no thoughtful dialogue or interesting content here.
  • MT99499
    Business insider podcast
So much fascinating stuff to go over and they chose the legacy media route. Sad.
  • Amtomasi
    Great idea, Disappointing effort…
It’s unfortunate the host and guests don’t do more in depth research on the topics before they speak. It sounds as if they just read a few articles before the show and repeat the information without actually researching. As an example, the episode “Elon goes thermonuclear” It was said that media matters just refreshed their feed more than normal until they got a result. In reality, if one would have read the lawsuit that was filed, media matters (I’m summarizing here) followed the specific brands/advertisers and other very specific non appealing X accounts and then refreshed a ridiculous amount of times to obtain a result that maybe one person on all of X would ever see. “Context changes everything” -Bloomberg So please provide more context and less opinion.

    Balanced and thoughtful
I’ve been impressed with how balanced and thoughtful the panelists are each week on this podcast. They are definitely experts but not coming with any sort of bias or skew. Very interesting - nice work - and good podcast to listen to!

    Great show
    Great pod!

    Dumb idea
Such a dumb idea for a show. Elon is way over exposed and has proven himself a rampant moron. This may have been interesting 8 years ago.

    I Enjoy Listening to This
I’m not an Elon fanboy by any means but am often curious about the latest developments in Elon World. This podcast does a good job of presenting the latest developments in Elons empire. The panel has good chemistry and the host David is interesting and charismatic enough to elicit a chuckle from me here and there. Good show!

Elon, Inc brings the man into vivid focus
Elon, Inc is a must follow podcast for anyone touching the industries that Musk is disrupting. The cast has deep understanding of the man, his mission and his impact on this world...and maybe OTHER worlds! The go behind the headlines and provide insights that you don't get from a typical news feed. Kudos to Dana, Max, Sarah and others creating this great content. A five star!
  • Matt79380
    Hit Piece of the Week
Rename the show… Elon Musk, our Hit Piece of the Week. This pod is simply more tradition media propaganda to discredit Musk in any way possible. Notice they spent exactly ZERO time actually discussing the tweet they claim to be antisemitism in the latest episode. Skipped right over that part. Done with this pod and moving on to more interesting things.

    Elon hate show
This show started out balanced but has turned into a typical MSM Elon hate show. All negative and biased views without putting tweets in context.
  • CyberneticGorilla
    Fly me to the moon
The hosts do great work researching various subjects related to Elon, then making them easy to understand with comedy mixed in. Great show, definitely worth a listen to know more about Elon Musk and his shenanigans
