I have loved the Antiquarium since my first visit, and have made frequent returns every time a new item arrives, and even often just to revisit previous items because they are so sincerely enjoyable and lovingly told. If you are a fan of old horror comics, anthology horror or spooky radio drama, and have the stomach for it, take a trip to the antiquarium and see if the proprietor can fond something just right for you.

These stories do not disappoint! If you like disturbingly scary this is the one to listen to!

Discovered this lovely podcast earlier this week and actively listened as it stimulates my imagination. Went ahead and subbed to the patreon after the second day of listening.

This is a really great, consistent podcast. The writing is routinely well done, acting is great, and the shopkeeper obviously loves his job. Now if only they’d let me return this painting I bought from them a few weeks back. The figure in it keeps vanishing and I’m not sure where it goes…

So I love this podcast and I totally found this weird coffee pot in the store and whenever I drink coffee from it, I get strange thoughts in my head. Like I genuinely feel like I should be asleep but I’m not and I’m thinking about things that go bump in the night. So weird, right? But they have strict rules about returns of items bought there. Thankfully the stories on the pod are better than mine was. So much fun to listen and enjoy. Glad I found it and glad I joined the Obsidian Covenant.

This is one best podcast hands down. I told so many people about.

If you’re looking for some spooky stories to keep you company, this story has got you covered. The episodes are narrated by an insanely talented crew (including Kate Siegel from Hill House!!!) and each one is completely unique. It also has a lore built up around the “shop” itself that makes it extremely dynamic.

This is by far one of the best horror podcasts I’ve listened to. I am at the edge of my seat watching, waiting for the next story to drop. Well written and well executed. Love it!

As a moderate fan of horror podcasts, I am impressed by the Antiquarium of Sinister Happenings for the way that they write and present their podcast. I personally am a fan of this type of podcast where each episode is a separate story, and there’s some minor overlap/overarching characteristics of the whole thing, and the Antiquarium absolutely delivers that. Their short horror stories are enacted well and often leave me thinking about them/on edge for days afterwards. Plus, there’s something fun about the whole shopkeep telling you about/selling you on his miscellaneous objects that all have dark pasts.

hands down my favorite podcast!!! I kind of wish I hadn’t found it when it first began so I could binge it now! the voice acting is the best i’ve ever heard and the stories are always completely entertaining!!!

I started listening to this podcast when it first came out and immediately fell in love with it. The voice acting it’s too notch. The stories are captivating. The entire vibe is perfect. Even the meta world build they have allowed their audience to build through voicemails to the shop show that they truly care about their listeners and want them to feel like part of the universe of this Podcast. If you like horror there is not a better full cast podcast out there! The voice actors are fantastic, the sound effects great, the music atmospheric, and the host is a-one. As for the stories, they creep you out in every way imaginable. Phenomenal collection!!!

The stories slither into your ears and settle somewhere deep, where they echo long after the episode ends. They're beautifully crafted—dark, disturbing, and just real enough to make you glance over your shoulder. I find them absolutely captivating, the kind of stories that keep you listening even when your skin starts to crawl. I wait impatiently for each new episode, knowing it’ll leave me haunted in the best possible way.

This is the only podcast or show or anything that I actually pay for. I highly anticipate the next episode every single week and recommend it to everyone. I love that they don’t hold back in their stories. Thank you.

This podcast is amazing. The sound effects and story telling make for an immersive experience during each and every episode. I just wish there were more to binge!

This show is a great concept and started strong with many great stories. Some new, some retold but in a great way. Now though, it's just stories based on gore and sloshing sounds. It's too bad.

Love the stories, the production value and the concept. The only note would be to announce your new patreon members at the end of the podcast, doing it at the beginning messes with the flow and kind of breaks the fourth wall.

I fell asleep listing to this podcast and woke up to episode # 5 “Shave and a Haircut” I woke up TERRIFIED!! I always read or put on a podcast before bed. It’s been 2 weeks and it still messes me up when I think about it. This is a great horrid podcast. Just don’t fall asleep with it on.

So glad I found this immersive podcast! I love the shopkeeper host and how the music transports the listener into the story! Feels like an eerie car ride to another dimension 😱

I absolutely love this show!! I love the shopkeeper! Every time it starts I feel like I’m walking in and talking to an old friend due to how long I have been coming by! I do enjoy the progress the show has been going and I can’t wait for more.

Once I found your show I was hooked. I binged all of the shows and am now waiting with baited breath for the next episode. The stories grab your attention from the beginning and get your heart rate up in minutes. The voicemails are my favorite from past customers are one of my favorite quirks to the show. Aug ‘24 Update: I like the show even more since my first review. It consistently gets better with each ep. However, the main purpose of my re-review is to PRAISE the answering machine message left in the most recent ep, Lot 054. Finally!!! A caller who does not leave the stale and predictable, “I know you don’t take returns, but can I pls return this?”. Brava, caller! Your message was super clever and creepy. Delivery was aces and the mini-plot could easily be the premise for an upcoming installment. 💀 OG Review: Love how each of the creepy stories are wrapped in descriptions of a weird little store. Thanks for taking up space in my subconscious. So good, I don’t even mind the ads!

I stumbled upon this podcast and haven’t looked back since. It’s so entertaining, so immersive, and genuinely unsettling. Top notch quality too!!! I don’t know if any other podcast will top this one.
