Matt is so funny; love this show!

I enjoy this podcast a lot, however as a die hard SATC fan it sometimes frustrates me. Matt and guests tend to get facts wrong or don’t know them at all. If there was someone (on air or off) that could correct inaccuracies and answer unknowns in the moment I think it would make this podcast even better. Please take that as constructive criticism. Love Matt and his guests but they don’t actually discuss the show episodes themselves which is disappointing. I’ve listened to the first 3 so far and they only talked about the show in broad strokes.

I find Matt’s genuine appreciation for AJLT really endearing and he has great insightful guests. It’s not a recap podcast but a conversation around the themes of the episode which is refreshing. So excited to hear more episodes will be coming in the future.

I was hooked! Matt is fabulously witty and so are his guests! Like the Algonquin Roundtable but with a subject that is dear to my heart. So bingeworthy - enjoy!

It’s nice to have a podcast centered around something where people actually ENJOY what they’re talking about. There’s so much negativity surrounding AJLT and while I guess it seems fun to chase clout on Instagram by posting AJLT memes and tearing the show apart I much prefer Matt’s honest love for the show. SO happy to hear Matt will be recapping season 1 and I hope he goes all the way back to SATC and the films!!

I am someone who watches sex and the city as my comfort repeat show. I appreciate Matt & guests celebration of this wild ride of a show!

I don’t even watch ‘And Just Like That’ but I have so enjoyed this podcast. Matt is so charming and his guests are hilarious.

I love love love recap shows and have always loved Matt on other podcasts and a few of the episodes I’ve listened to of his others, but I was a bit disappointed this wasn’t really a recap podcast and also, it barely touches on the show (esp the last three episodes).

But you’re too timid to actually make use of all the resources. It’s ok to both love the show and be hyper-critical of aspects of it. Allow yourself to have an opinion and don’t be afraid to defend the stance.

If you’re just like me and you just like Matt, you should like And Just Like Matt!

I was looking for a little more recap energy - chatting about the successes and flaws of the episodes. However this podcast mainly focuses on the guests’ lives and their relationships and how that relates back to the show. It’s good at doing that but may not be what everyone had expected (or what they wanted).

Love Matt and his new podcast. So entertaining, everyone must listen immediately!!
