As a local soccer-mom who grew up outside of the Lou (with very little youth soccer knowledge), this pod is the place to keep up! I literally never miss an episode. It can get overwhelming to keep up with the lingo of our fast pace of youth soccer world, mixed with the deep tenure/history of our STL soccer culture, but this is all addressed clearly within the content. I have utilized many episodes to stay in the know, make better decisions for my player, and hear directly from key leaders within the market (and beyond). The Soccer-Dad are determined to share endless tidbits and concepts regarding the mindset, vision, history and future of youth soccer - all mixed with light humor and fun. Big fan of the podcast ! The guests are great and the banter and discussions are informative and entertaining. Being from a soccer family in St Louis both playing through college and now having kids from age 16 to a 5 year old starting all over again I can relate to these 3 knuckle heads and really enjoy their perspectives.

This is a really good podcast. Well worth following. Personality, production quality, serious, fun. They have a discernible point of view, but they listen as well. Appropriately reverential to the old guard… That’s an attractive quality. That’s something that will never get old. Not afraid to touch the HS soccer “3rd rail” - another very attractive quality. Nobody’s perfect, and these guys aren’t either, but they are entertaining, they prepare for their interviews, they laugh at themselves, they like to have fun, and they love to needle Kansas City… that’s kind of fun. Soccer Mom Sunday Pod has been an excellent addition to the lineup. The City of St. Louis can make a very strong case as the soccer capital of the US, and these guys (and Jen) like to make that case. The difference maker is that they are also willing to look at St. Louis soccer warts and all and point out things that don’t work as well as things that do. There is an attractive authenticity to that. Keep up the good work people.

I live in Boise, Idaho. I am a soccer coach that is a life long learner. I like to learn about soccer in other parts of the country. This pod is great and for some odd reason, the music selection puts me at ease and prepares me for some good listening. Keep up the good work. I am enjoying binge listening to the pod.

I appreciate the banter, the camaraderie, the focus on kid development. I am not a St. Louis soccer snob like these three gents ;) but it is obvious their love for the game, their love for kids, and development, and their connectedness to past and future. Their guests make for an always interesting new view on any and all of the above. My favorites: -really appreciate the focus on girls side of the ball, nice adds with soccer Sunday -really enjoy the debate between club and highschool. -the coaching view, club view, and the recruiting view, nowhere else does better! -my favorite episode is the highschool coach that got sued by overzealous, idiot parents Least favorite: sorry but I regularly skip the first 15 min of the podcast because it’s too much banter. I’d highly be in favor of you changing it up, jump right to the guest, and include them in your banter with the last 15-min! But either way, I’m listening!!!

One of my favorite shows to listen to on my way to/from the SLYSA fields or walking while my kids are training. Great input on local and National issues…and no one is afraid to be real!!!

Highly recommend! These boys will make you laugh, teach you things you never thought you would want to know, and overall entertain you. Five stars boys! Keep up the good work!

Uninspiring is the word that comes just feels phoned in. More effort is needed, don’t waste your time with this garbage.

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll find yourself listening every pod to hear what beer they are drinking… An incredible representation of one of the gems that makes STL so special. A true trip down memory lane, done in such a playful yet insightful manner. Here’s hoping I tune in one day to hear all of the STL legends together 🤞🏼

I was lucky enough to wander into Urban Chestnut’s Grove location when I noticed a rather elaborate podcast setup. It was the Soccer Dad Podcast guys! And since I work for Saint Louis City SC and once had two soccer girls, myself (both were goalies for their high school, and one was # 1 goalie in the St. Louis Public High School League, for 2 years running), I love how STL is really developing young talent, these days. Kudos to the Soccer Dads for taking a deep dive into the pre-pro STL soccer scene. Someone needed to do this…and now it is done!❤️👏🏽

I really enjoy listening to the great conversations while on my daily commute! The excellent questions and comedy make for a great listen. The quality of guest is really great and I am excited to see this podcast grow!

As a newbie to soccer, the Soccer Dad have really opened my eyes to the ins and outs of the soccer world. They have great interviews and good banter between the hosts. Definitely worth listening to, especially if you want to know more about the game on the pitch.

I’ve never laughed so hard but also loved listening to the stories from the guests and your own stories. Brings back some of my favorite memories of my own childhood growing up playing soccer in stl.

Really enjoyed hearing the University of Akron Head Coach Jerad Embick speak on many different soccer topics. Will definitely tune in again.

This podcast, hosted by ex players, father’s to great players, is about the beautiful game… and beer… and food… and politics… etc. The reason is because sidelines are the new American “church,” only instead of one day a week, it’s 5 to 7! The show simply puts all of that insight and absurdity in podcast form, because why not??? Love it. Especially the host, me, JB Anderson!!!
