    Just thanks a bunch!
Lisa and layne, I have learned so much from your books, web site and podcast and just wanted to tell you! I’m a hobbies flower grower, but this could take on a different path as my knowledge and experience grows. I love cool season flowers and this year I am growing snaps, stock, agromeria, larkspur, nigella, and Goldilocks rudbeckia. Can’t wait for next the growing season… thanks to you I feel I know what to do! 😃

    I can’t believe I didn’t find this podcast sooner!
This is my third season flower farming. I live in Northern Vermont, and learning how to actually grow cool flowers when they are supposed to be growing, is a game changer. It is really helping me with the seed starting itch, because there are seeds I can start in January! I am so excited to try some very early spring planting this season. My only regret is that I didn’t have time for proper fall bed prep for spring, so I need to find a way to thaw my compost pile. Can’t wait to keep listening! Thanks for everything.

    Mama birds!
Aspiring flower farmer here… I love these bite-sized Flower Farmer courses! I have 3 young children, so I don’t have a lot of free time to sit down and watch the YouTube version so I very much appreciate that these are free podcast that I can listen to while driving my kids to school . Call me crazy but I imagine Lisa and Lane are my mommy birds, and each episode is a little worm that they’re feeding me to help me grow up and be ready to fledge and fly! These are packed with practical guidance and step by step tips on so many of the important questions that beginners, or even experienced gardeners may have. I love the species/variety specifics. No nonsense. Love these friendly positive green thumb gals!!

    Learning a ton!
I really enjoy this podcast. I recently found it and have gone back and listened to all the episodes, some of them multiple times. Sometimes Layne poses a question to Lisa, and then answers it herself, leaving Lisa with not much to do but reiterate what she just said. But I suppose it’s always good to hear the information multiple times. I’ve learned so much and eagerly eat up each episode!

    Great tips
I really appreciated the information about using dispel to prevent center damage and now waiting for fall to plant White Nite variety. The 2 tablespoons of quick dip in harvest bucket tip is also helpful.

    Grab your notebook!
As a sophomore flower farmer who is a repeat student of Lisa’s, I’m always learning so much from her and this podcast is one of her greatest resources. I listen when I am driving or in the field and then watch again later so I can take down notes. Layne does such a great job asking all of the questions we need her to ask and Lisa breaks it all down with gems of info from her years of experience. I absolutely love how specific the information and topics are and can say I am learning something every time I listen. There’s several podcasts out there for flower farmers but many of them are a little more entertaining and less informative than I need them to be. This is an info packed, meaty podcast for newbies, home growers and I bet those who have been doing this far longer than I have would benefit from listening. You may learn why you never had luck growing that one plant you’ve been struggling with and gave up on. Thank you Lisa and Layne!

    So much info!
Seed starting isn’t successful if a “one size fits all” is used. Lisa & Layne give you the info needed to be successful with different varieties.

    Excellent and sage wisdom!
I’ve been so enjoying listening to Lisa and Layne as I do various chores around the house. My success with germination, selecting what and when to plant for my region, and general knowledge have increased so much since making this podcast a part of my routine. I’d recommend this for flower farmers and home growers alike

Love love everything I’ve learned from Lisa Ziegler! Taken most all the courses. Have her books, watch her lives and listen to her podcasts. I do love Layne’s additional expertise and perspective as well! If you listen to any of their programs, Buy all your seeds and supplies from them. I can’t believe how much Lisa gives to us for free!!! My mother taught me to support people who teach you! Susan Smith

    I love Lisa!
Aishah, hear from Patagonia Flower Farm; I’ve been growing specialty cut flowers in southern Arizona for over ten years. Every season I pick up Lisa Ziegler’s books and flowers. For those of you who think that her podcast is repetitive, flower farming is repetitive. The thing is Lisa has over 30 years of experience, listening to her podcast, I always hear something new that I didn’t know. She’s one of my heroes. Love you, Lisa.💗

One & Done Cool Flowers & Succession Tips
This was the best podcast and aired at exactly the right time. I am planning my crops for early spring and beyond and was ready to start some seeds…at the wrong time! I would have spent time and bed space only to be disappointed! There are plenty of other cool flowers that do want to be grown in very early spring! It also made me think about how much effort I can put into successions of one cut cool flowers when some of the others are more productive! Thanks so much!

    No sound in R earbud
I love the information BUT annoying to listen to because no sound comes through on the R earbud. The problem is not on my end because other podcasts play in both R and L earbuds.
