laurad1413The best podcast I didn’t know I neededThis podcast is incredible. Liz Tucker is not only incredibly smart, she is well researched and asks intelligent, insightful, and honest questions. The experts seem carefully chosen for both their niche expertise and also for things that should be better known! I don’t know how she is able to wade through the noise of the internet to zero in on the most important and least discussed topics of our health but I am incredibly grateful. Thank you for all your hard work Liz, I know that I tell all the people in my life to listen to you!

DWade506Always enlighteningMs. Tucker is a consummate interviewer. She takes the time to formulate relevant and insightful questions about the topic she’s covering, and never fails to elucidate. The characteristic of her program that I appreciate most is how the conversation never falls into “ELI5” territory, because you know what? I’m not 5. I’m an adult who appreciates a conversation with other adults.

leapingheartPioneering and informedMost of the media has been way behind the curve in criticizing medicine. Host Liz Tucker steps into the breach by holding conversations with prominent critics of medicine. The first episode with guest Joanna Moncrieff is timely, adding color to her much-discussed review of the serotonin hypothesis. Hoping that this launches many more conversations among the public, in other media, and among physicians themselves. If medicine will come off its pedestal and become more open to criticism, it could lead to greater trust in physicians and fewer scandals.

mrasian2uEye opening, thank youI’ve been on and off gabapentin for nerve pain associated with ruptured and/or herniated discs and if it’s helped, it’s been nominal…but am trying it again in search of relief. (And to avoid long term opioid usage.) This was fascinating and disturbing. The lack of governance and transparency in off label drug prescriptions is unbelievable.
