God’s DiamondI am very grateful for the new position that the Lord put you in making the basement.I am very grateful for this Tim Ross and the team you guys are such an inspiration to me. Keeping it real raw and uncut about this Christian walk I was tormented for years by the church. (Religion.) I knew there was some way to live this life happy and free, but I just couldn’t find it anywhere. I have finally got it and it's because of you and your obedience to God 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 That I can live a life that is free from and now I can teach my son and grandkids the right way to live a life with God. I do understand that life will happen but with God, I can do anything.❤️❤️❤️

OhhbreExodus 20:7I appreciated this podcast and the different view points - but when he said “Jesus” multiple times in a row with “damnit” directly after.. it’s just unnecessary. I do not believe these men are gifted nor have divine knowledge. Be careful of false profits.

Wiley WheelerI love this show! # No limits!Tia gently shared her story giving hope and belief in how God can interacts with innocence and faith.

Jpal100@Newer stuff hard to listen to.Older episodes are very good. The newer episodes are getting harder and harder to listen to. First 30 minutes they go on rants how great they are. For somebody who has the same struggles with porn and lust as Tim Ross. His episodes sometimes oddly get sexual, very dramatic about it, especially if he talks about his wife. I will still listen but getting very hard to listen to. This podcast has helped a lot but here’s hoping they switch the layout.

CHELNEHonesty is KeyThank you so much for sharing what you share every week. You don’t only help me but I share it with the team that I lead. Sometimes I feel like I don’t know what I am doing but God speaks through you and encourages or steers me to the way I need to keep moving. You are an inspiration, I pray you pray for the team I lead. I am a youth pastor of 6 years and over security for 6 months building our team from the ground up. I just want to do the will of our Father (daddy) and be the man that He purpose me to be. Please lean into agreement with me on this. Thank you and God Bless Cam Edwards- City Church For All Nations (Bloomington, IN)

jhonkaverdA timely podcast! This podcast has been incredible. There isn’t an episode I listen to that I don’t need to pause and contemplate what I just heard. Tim has wild insight and wisdom that goes deep. If you’re ready for the basement, you won’t be disappointed and you will be challenged in the best way possible!

ChicagoGirl222Is You Really Like That ?Just started listening to Tim Ross podcast a few months ago I wanted to listen to a few before leaving my honest review. Tim what’s good ..? You like a uncle I’ve never had growing up on the south side of Chicago and the way you express your feelings and emotions just connect with me. The 3 hour episode with Michael Todd was amazing and that Rap over Metro beat you killed it. Keep going I love feeling like I’m in the basement .

MrsBrendaAloneHi Tim, I’ve been going through so much and I kept God in my pocket. So I got up on my own and said sense I’m alone I’ll take care of me. Tamaron Hall show was on and you were on and something said look him up so I did. After I finish this I’m going to my room and ask God to come out of my pocket and move back into my heart and my Life!! Thank you for being real!

Texas White GirlWhite GirlI was born a white girl in a Texas rural town and cannot help that. I have witnessed ignorant racism from my grandparents generation, born in the early 1900-ish area. my definition of ignorant racism is that they didn’t know any better. Still wrong, I agree. There was never any cruelty, or even agreement with cruelty to Black people, that would have never been accepted. Yet there was a thought that they were less. ( so wrong I agree) I also have witnessed this change over the years for the positive. I am a Christian, who loves God, loves his word, and loves all people. I believe all people are created in his image, and reflect his uniqueness. I would like to suggest that there be less making fun of people who do not understand and more educating them from your viewpoint. I have enjoyed several of your podcasts, heard you preach in South lake, and been a follower. But when I listened to the Super Bowl one, I felt alienated, not valued and as if I was not welcomed in your space. It felt very divisive. I thought I had found a safe place, only to be ridiculed for being white and not understanding the need for a separate National Anthem. My family and I watched the Super Bowl and were confused about the need for two national anthems. We truly see everyone who lives in the United States as one people , one nation. We did not boycott the rest of the game because of that, we just do not understand it. How does two ( or more) national anthems promote unity? Is there something racism in the national anthem? If so, educate us on that. Use your words to edify/ build up/ bring peace and unity. I look forward to the day when we can quit, referring to people as color, or ethnicity/ nationality, and just refer to them as people, made in God’s image.

SixpackofbudsEasy Christian Listen that will resonate with you.I truly love just listening to the organic convos had on here. Nothing is forced. And whether you agree with what’s said or not, it important to LISTEN and just hear the way people think. (But I do love and respect the way Tim thinks.) I have listened to every episode since day 1! Big fan!

GaumitzMommaI look forward to each episodeI have been listening for over a year and have listened to all of the episodes. I have appreciated the bluntness Tim has about difficult topics, the nuance he understands and the realness of each conversation. I have shared this podcast with many friends and will continue to do so.

CrespoSeasonTrend Setting Culture ShockI love this Podcast. Real conversations, some hilarious moments, and I love how humble everyone is on this podcast. Tim Ross is not a hog on the podcast. He doesn’t like the sound of his voice. It’s a family environment and I love that. Whatever topics church has been afraid to discuss, you’ll find a podcast here where they discuss it. Perfect opportunity for you to feel corrected, validated, encouraged, etc etc etc. Healing ❤️🩹 can take place here easy. I genuinely have felt emboldened as a christian since I started listening. BRO.. for the app though? Y’all HAVE to have a section for underground christian music. Maybe a tab for popular artists and a tab for underground artists. That’s my one selfish desire. A place we can submit music. The app would be absolutely elite if it’s also a music hub as well as a conversation hub. 🔥 But that’s just me. Pray about it 🙏
-
Ang4JesusTHANK YOU 🔥I am LOVIN THIS PODCAST! I’ve listened to several, however the one with Jackie Perry “Learning to let go!” Keep ‘em coming!

peace resseWe here! ✨✨✨Flatbush, Brooklyn is in the basement!! Let’s gooo!! 🔥🔥🔥

Sta 💪🏽I see the intent but lacks depth of biblical content and self focus story tellingI understand what you’re trying to do. But God calls us to be set apart. We can be relatable while also maintaining holiness and honoring God in our speech and the way we carry ourself and the messages we deliver for people to hear. Be careful not to allow people to think what you say is gold. Point them back to the Word of God. Faith comes by hearing the word not only about all your Christian experiences and your opinion. Real change happens when we give people the truth of God’s word in a honoring fashion and give the Holy Spirit room to change the person. And when you’re saying the Holy Spirit told you to do something it should actually align with God’s character and His Word in context.

blix213Some really powerful points but this isn’t for everyoneHonestly I loved his teachings and sermons… but the podcasts became very self-centered, often kicking off with monologues from his team just praising him, and then would follow with a bunch of chatter with no direction, little sustenance, and little filter. It just feels too relaxed for someone with so much responsibility. He seems like a wonderful and gifted person and I have looked up to him for many years, but i just don’t feel he’s shepherding anymore. Then I saw the video of him not feeling convicted about cursing and I was disheartened. This isn’t for everyone, and I’ve become kind of selective of when in my day I listen. I’m pretty sure I heard Tim talking about tacos for 20 minutes… hah! Which is fine, but when I’m on podcasts I’m trying to be intentional, I want to learn and grow. Some of these conversations are incredibly powerful. I’m not discounting that. Some others however are kind of a roll of the dice. Sometimes you have to listen a whole hour in for the really powerful points. And as a Tim Ross fan, I am yearning for that from him!

bobby G 817A Real OneIf you need to a good mentor for your personal walk with Christ you are in the right spot! Tim has been sowing into my life in a major way. I lost my pastor a few years ago and ran away from ministry . Tim has filled a hole in my heart. Just want to say thank you .
-
AsalamualakiumPlease drop a podIt’s been a long month without the podcast. Not trying to idolize the podcast but it truly does help point me to my savior in such a real way. It’s august 3rd now and I’m dying for a pod to be dropped. God bless.
-
StayRich81You opened my eyes and it changed my lifeThank you Tim for being obedient and raw. You are literally a male version of me. I am open and honest, and not scared to talk about things that most people blush over. I am 42 year old, and I know you generally speak to the younger adults, but I have needed to hear all that you were saying, mostly because it confirms what God is showing me. I don’t want to tell my whole testimony or life story on a review, so thank you for being obedient, open honest and raw! Stacey
-
HandsQueTim RossI want to thank you for hearing and working in the purpose God has placed on your life. I commend you for doing what I thought was not heard of. To hear the God told you to step down from being Pastor and you did it. I applaud you. Thank you for making it plain when speaking about the word. I am a PK and I’m fighting a calling on my life. I have seen how my parents being in ministry has impacted their life. I have on purpose not got in to the word of God to hide from the calling on my life. I’m stuck.
-
JaqueliñeHappy birthday to The BasementI love you . We are family . You are part of my life now. Stay blessed.
