Not You Gaslighting Us With Your “Easy” French
I don’t care if this is a natural-speaking pace or not, you can’t call your podcast “easy” when you’re talking this fast. Change it to intermediate or call it a B level podcast and it would get 5⭐️ from me. But this is a cruel joke. How awful to gaslight learners into thinking they should be able to understand something when you’re clearly not even trying to make it accessible. It is hard work enough to build the confidence to speak another language on top of the fact that French-speakers in particular have a reputation for being super judgmental when you butcher their language. It is also hard finding a good beginner/intermediate podcast that isn’t talking about French politics or finance or some other stupid topic. And it is a shame because you both have interesting discussion topics but being told that you should be able to understand something like this because it is labeled “easy” when it is anything but is nothing short of a crushing disappointment for some people. I can slog through but I know plenty in my class who would give up. Rethink your title. Until then, that’s an unsubscribed from me.

    Easy?
Why call it Easy French when the speakers speak as fast as possible?

    Not So Easy
I would say this is intermediate French. Great for getting the rhythm of the language but if you are new (A1/A2) you may find this very difficult.

    Great for authentic conversation
This is definitely NOT an “easy” French podcast but if you are an intermediate to more advanced learner, it’s a fantastic resource for training your ear to authentic spoken French. I love the interaction between the hosts and the humor they bring to the weekly discussions. The topics themselves are usually very interesting and give the listener some insight into French culture. One of the hosts speaks very fast and is quite challenging to understand (at least for me) but that is one of the reasons I enjoy this podcast. It feels more authentic, like friends having a chat about some random topic and we are listening in. I enjoy the challenge of trying to keep up with the back and forth of their conversation, even if I don’t understand everything.

    Hard to Pick Up
I like the content but I feel that the speakers speak way too fast for anyone trying to learn French.

    Best French podcast out there
I have listened to a lot of French podcasts. This is by far the best. They just talk naturally, and have a transcript later. No need to slow it down or explain each word like a lot of other podcasts do. Keep up the great work. Super merci!

    J'adore !
A must for fans of the wonderful YouTube channel. The positive energy and humor make it a joy to listen. As an advanced learner, I appreciate that the conversations are almost natural speed and use colloquial language. There are detailed vocab lists if needed. I support them on Patreon and get many useful bonus materials. Merci les super nanas !

    Love it!!
I’ve been a fan of Easy German since it started, and since then have been eagerly waiting for an Easy French podcast. I’m so happy it’s finally here!! The episodes are entertaining, the hosts speak clearly, and I’ve already learned some new French words and phrases. This podcast is better than I could have imagined, thank you! :)

So Happy that Easy French Podcast has arrived!
The 3 moderators of Easy French are THE GREATEST. As a regular subscriber of Easy German, Italian & Spanish — I have been waiting MONTHS for Rita, Hélène and Judith to finish their preparations to be able to launch their podcast. They speak slowly (and clearly) on the Trailer — but one can adjust the speed (faster or slower) depending on one’s level of comprehension. I have NO DOUBT that this will be the SUPERB French Podcast that I have been waiting for. Merci infiniment! — :)
