First time listening to this podcast (9/19/24), became slightly confused. Was it Bruce who left the basement a mess and didn't work? Or did the host mean Jeffery?

I been watching the YouTube but since starting college I love to walk around campus and listen in.

The content of this podcast is great, but the host's habit of ending sentences and phrases in questions is off-putting.

hey hailey, i’ve been watching you on youtube since the beginning and was one of the first to run to your podcast when it was first released. at first, it was tolerable and gave the benefit of the doubt, but slowly declined. the same words are repeated over and over and over again. pronunciation is absolutely horrible. i was very excited for this podcast as i listen to it during work. the repetition of “whilst” is a huge bother, along with the many editing issues and cuts. misinformation is also in this podcast. me personally, i feel that your voice seems to be monotone ever since you stopped uploading the grwm true crime videos. i can’t deny that you work hard on these podcasts, but feel that you should take the criticism coming from the listeners and put it into action. honestly i can’t tolerate to listen to this podcast and thought that maybe it’d get better when you adjust to making podcasts but it seems that at least for now, i think that this is poorly put together. i truly believe in you and hope for nothing but the best. please take the criticism <3

New listener here. First few episodes were tolerable but it got worse and worst. Ending every statement/sentence in question form.

I listened to one episode, S2:E3 on Chad Entzel’s homicide. There were so many false statements, for example, there were not cigarettes thrown all over the house. No cigarettes or cigarette butts we’re recovered. There were no cameras inside the house that Nikki Entzel turned off. There was one camera outside on the garage. And there is so much more. This whole trial is available to watch on YouTube. There’s no reason to be this wrong other than not doing your research. Clearly can’t believe this “true” crime podcast with so many false statements.

Really poor writing….couldn’t get through one episode with the repetitions and inappropriate phrasing.

I’m really enjoying this podcast. Hailey has such an easy voice. While all of the episodes I’ve listened to so far have been splendid, I do want to comment about a particular one: S2 E23. I think with such a large audience, you ought to put some more thought into what you say before you say it. As a practicing Pagan, the religion does have a lot to do with nature, and the remark, “…the whole religion has to do with Satanism and the devil” is simply untrue. This is a common misconception offered by the misrepresentation given in this very Christian world. I urge you to check the facts of what you’re about to say before you say it.

Hard to believe a grown woman can’t pronounce words or use the correct tense. Especially on a podcast where you SPEAK.

Hailey Elizabeth has a soothing voice, which makes her podcasts easy to listen to. The cases are short and not super in depth deep dives as compared to other true crime podcasts who cover the exact same cases. It’s fine. What gets me is the editing. It’s like no one looks back and notices that there are times when she repeats herself after a harsh cut, using different words. Like she forgot to edit those parts out. It happens in most of her episodes, which seems sloppy.

i unfortunately have to unsubscribe, this episode was my last straw.. why are you repeating the same thing literally 10 times????? we get it, he watched her in the club grinding on men. what was the point of covering this case when you gave no information what so ever besides one small part that you kept repeating.

I really WANT to like Hailey's delivery, but if she wants to give credence to her podcast, she needs to at LEAST learn how to properly pronounce words like "indictment" and "jurisprudence," considering the subject matter is true crime.

I really like the story’s they are really good but some of the stories don’t have a finish I wish she would pick like finished stories but overall its good

This podcast is a complete cash grab. Hailey doesn’t even bother to research on her own, she just picks a case that ten other people have copied and copies them. Pick true crime speakers who value families, justice, victim spotlights, and respect. This isn’t it at all. ASK YOURSELF; WOULD THE VICTIMS FAMILY BE OKAY WITH WHAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT THE VICTIM?

Nobody is perfect and I love this podcast bc of that. Hailey E is amazing and yes she mispronounced words at times but who doesn’t. I love how real she keeps it. It’s def becomes a comfort podcast for me. Thank you, H.E!!

I usually love the story telling but lately there is no story build don’t say age, kids , or relationship. It’s giving lazy .

Hailey does a great job researching! I love who she makes extra sure that she gets all the details!

I love podcast! Haley always chooses the most interesting/unique cases that aren’t covered in alot of true crime podcasts.

I love the way you speak & this podcast seems promising but I really wish you’d stop including 1st hand sources (911 calls, recording readings, interviews etc.)… if we wanted those things, we’d go to them

I used to watch Hailey a lot on yt, and loved her content. I feel like it’s a recent thing where lots of true crime content creators have been offensive with their titles of cases. “The genius 160 iq murderer?” Maybe I’m a little soft, but genius doesn’t seem like the right word, almost like it’s a positive way to describe the killer. Also, when the title says the murderer and not the victim’s name or identification. I find it offensive, and I’m assuming here that different families involved with the cases feel the same way.

i’ve never really been interested in podcasts and barely even listened to them, but i absolutely adore this podcast!! i’ve always been interested in true crime and stuff like that lol. and i also like to hear others’ opinions on them as well. i love listening to this podcast when i’m doing homework or if i just want to relax and listen to something interesting. i also love Hailey and i am subscribed to her on youtube!! overall, this podcast is just everything. 10/10 recommend if you love true crime!!

Listening to this podcast always feels like a little treat every week. If you like listening to true crime from someone that makes you feel safe and calm this podcast is for you!

Found her YouTube channel when she was a smaller creator watching her grow was awesome she deserved all the recognition she’s been getting since she started her podcast I’ve loved hearing them although I go back and forth from her or her channel it’s all great

I love your show but I have to say. It’s super annoying when you keep saying “quote” and ends up a ridiculous amount in some episodes. I don’t think you have to always say. And so and so said quote. Do you even notice how much you do it? I stop listening to many episodes or fast forward. Not sure if anyone else has this issue. But in the car it gives me a headache to hear it like every 4 seconds repeatedly in some parts of the story. To the point I could just scream. Lol

All of a sudden she’s getting into politics like girl I get it’s an opinion podcast but just tell the unbiased case ok?

I enjoy try crime stories but can get creeped out by too much detail. I live this pod and the calm & simple manner in which she tells the stories

I love your show, however, I feel like you should research how to pronounce some of cities and other words before recording. Also, you over use A LOT of words. I hope you make more content. I’m definitely into this show!

From her instagram to her YouTube and podcast, Hailey Elizabeth is great! She’s fun to listen to and has a very chill vibe about her. (I really liked the time she stayed in a tree house). I agree with others that some words are misused and mispronounced, but I don’t think it’s that big of deal. She presents these cases in an enjoyable way, and usually I’m not a big fan of podcasts, but I really like to listen to Hailey. Thanks Hailey! I really enjoy listening :)

Hailey is a great story teller and gives detailed reports of these cases. Something I enjoy about this podcast that I don’t see in a lot of true crime, is the care she spends to tell the victims stories correctly and not glorify serial killers. A lot of true crime can teeter on the line of ethics. Hailey takes the care to explain some complex and nuanced issues and treats each case with respect (which unfortunately is not true of other true crime podcasts and shows).

I consider myself an avid true crime podcast listener and have never left a review for any of them. However, this podcaster’s constant mispronunciation of words and use of incorrect grammar = irksome. They disrupt what should be a seamless listening experience.
