Any one that understands engineering should love to listen to Gale, he does a great job of explaining where any one should be able to understand and enjoy these podcasts

Gale is a longtime personal hero of mine. I’m a car guy not necessarily a diesel guy but have always loved Gale after learning about his hot rodding days of the past. I look forward to every episode and listen intently to every word

This has been one of the most enjoyable podcasts I’ve ever listened to and it’s good education as well. The guests and the topics have really keep me coming back. Between this and all the great videos on YouTube I’m becoming a better diesel owner and it’s helping me be aware and know why I’m putting something on my truck instead just slapping parts on. Keep up the great work Gale and I hope you live to 1000 because the world needs more people like you telling it like it is!

Gale Banks is a national treasure. W hen it comes to internal combustion of any kind if he is talking you know it is well researched information. It is beyond awesome that he is sharing his stories with us thank you Gail.

As a diesel lover and as a gear head in general, I really appreciate you and the time you take to explain everything in detail to guys like me. As I listen to all of your lessons, it motivates me to learn more on my own. Gale, you are the unicorn because of this. Nobody else takes the time to educate their consumers like you do. Maybe it’s fear of “releasing their secrets to competition “. Keep up the great work Gale. And I also have to extend that to Kori Willis as well. Both you are doing awesome things. I really wish I could go back in time and pursue a career that would allow to work side by side with both of you! And thank you as well for fighting for our rights!

Full disclosure: I haven’t listened to the podcast yet, but it’s first up on my commute tomorrow. In honor of the new podcast, I’m going to drive my ‘99 7.3L Powerstroke and put the pedal down. Gale, if you’re reading this, as an engineer I really appreciate your data-based approach to making power. Measuring pressures and temperatures, calculating efficiencies, and treating the engine as a thermodynamics system… I’ve watched lots of dyno sessions and never seen anyone else take that approach. But then you go and put it on YouTube and explain it so everyone can understand it - that’s just plain awesome. I really enjoy watching you explain everything you do in detail and why. Thanks for working to make good mods for us diesel lovers that actually work without breaking our stuff. By the way, when are you going to help the Hoonigans tune their Duramax Camaro? I’d love to see that car go land-speed racing once you straighten it out for them. -Ryan
