amyrchapmanLove this but gave a questionI heard about this podcast on NPR’s Pop Culture Happy Hour. As a completist I have downloaded all the episodes but noticed a lot were missing. Why is that?

-
mooglitzGold StarUpdate: Yaaaaayyy!!! You’re back!!!! This podcast DELIVERS. That’s all you really need to know. It’s interesting enough to binge but also quick and to the point. I have used multiple recipes. Successfully! Easy to go back and reference, too.

Frustrated Business OwnerInformative, EntertainingReally enjoyable to listen to. Engaging, relatable, informative. Jesse is a great host. Keeps the conversation going, asks relevant questions, allows guests to speak without interrupting. I just wish episodes were longer!

Chispas007Easy, approachable, and great for new chefs! What a cool show! I love food and trying new recipes, but if I’m honest, listening to two hours of cooking advice is just not for me. Enter the one recipe! I love the quick, organized nature of the show. Usually under 15 minutes, the show is long enough to get some of the juicy details, but short enough I don’t have to dedicate a portion of my life to listening. An easily accessible podcast focusing on new staples and styles of food that are just incredible! Plus, we get an inside look into the chefs and lives of people making great food. The guacamole episode stuck out to me as a gift, We love guacamole down here in Texas and I love the idea of flipping the script. I’ll use this for our next party for sure. Keep up the great work team! I’m looking forward to more recipes.
-
Sophia AniThe perfect bite! This podcast fills a true void in the food podcast world: just enough frill and backstory to connect to the person talking, but mostly, just real cooks talking about the act of cooking itself! The premise of the podcast is perfectly delivered on: I feel like a friend is talking me through their favorite recipe, with all their communicative passion, hunger and excitement. Thank you Jesse for this!
-
3jamigosJust the right lengthI love that these segments are around 8 min long, sets a nice cadence, brief highlight in the interviewee and then boom the recipe. Some podcasts that focus on a single recipe but have 45 mins or longer I tend to stop listening, meanders way to much and it’s too much effort to imagine what they are doing as you listen. This is nice, I’ll keep listening, a nice friendly vibe.

GrantbearkcSlow down pleasePlease slow down and ask your guests to do the same. It’s a great concept, and try to remove some of the “like “ references
