Sipping Teas and Hugging Trees

Nature #156

Ever wanted to feel more at home when outside or long for a larger community? Join us, Joel and Leah Larabell {creators of High Garden Tea}, as we have lighthearted conversations about different neighbors in nature and how we can welcome them into our daily lives. We are missing out on a huge part of our family, and it’s time we get to know them a little better- the Wildlings. Each plant, animal, fungi and piece of our natural world that we better understand, the more we can bring the outdoors into our home and feel at home when outdoors. We'll be teaching herbalism, talking wild foods, meeting animals, sharing nature connection, ecotherapy and forest conservation tips, all the while sipping on tea and inviting you in for a cup . So be warned, this may lead to chronic actual tree hugging.

As an herbalist myself I always love to absorb the wisdom of other practitioners. Leah and Joel offer a wealth of knowledge with an easy-going delivery… You gatta’ love southerners! The crow episode was downright fascinating. I hope they have an opportunity to record more episodes soon. ❤️

I can’t say enough about Joel and Leah’s accessible and inviting approach to the gift of the natural world. Their ability to communicate facts while sharing their heartfelt love of nature engages my head and my soul. I have learned so much from their Instagram posts and purchased their nourishing teas and this podcast is the perfect extension of those interactions.
