DaynaMarie1The Clearing of CloudsI came across the podcast in my search for a familiar voice…and there I found Ms. Kelley Bonner. From the first episode that penetrated my ear-gates. Her approach felt like a hug from a stranger saying “come here girl, welcome to the soft life”. I’m only 3 episodes in and already have pages of journaling. Here’s to a new joy! I can’t wait to let my ears receive more episodes.

BrownSugar228Best podcast EVER!This is the one! Kelley gets straight into it. We don’t have to hear long ads, there’s no irrelevant chatter, the set up is clear, we don’t hear folks smacking…😂😂 But most of all, she packs soul changing content in less than 20 min. I have NEVER been consistent with a creator like I am with BFBO! Ty all for doing such an amazing job!
-

IamJasssFeeds your black girl soul!Let me just say that I have NEVER listened to an entire podcast… until now! Black Girl Burnout is everything you need; from Kelley’s soothing voice to practices on how to opt out of all things struggle! Kelley heard us; the other black girls trying to get up out of the struggle. She supports other black women and recognizes that we are all are on this journey together. I have learned so much and have began to practice all that I have taken in. Now to restart the ENTIRE series so I can take in some more! 😜

AuntiesRockJust when I needed it most!I just happened to do a search on burnout as my therapist suggested as a prognosis! It has spoken to every fiber of where I have been, where I was headed and now where I'm going!!!! I knew nothing about this and have literally spent dayssss healing and identifying with this complex syndrome. Thank God for your gift and this platform. Found this just when I needed it the most.

Dat_Chic_NikSo Glad I Found This!!!I’m an avid podcast listener, and I came across this podcast via my employer’s learning platform for all employees. rainbowgrassAffirmingKelley I love your voice, content, transparency, and ability and willingness to be vulnerable and open about your personal and work experiences. I’ve experienced burnout in my life as a working mother and wife so your words hit home. You give understanding and realization to my experiences in a way that allows me to process those experiences and my feelings around them in a different way. There’s been a shift in how I operate and think and this podcast confirms and affirms that this shift is healthy, needed, and necessary.
-
Pancake VenningBlack girl burnoutIt’s wonderful you really get me I wonder why I’m so burnout my life is full of so many expectations that I’m dum at the end of the day I need more time for myself.

Messiah babyMuch NeededThank you for sharing what you have experienced in the workplace by being you. I have struggled my whole life trying to fit in. I was born a happy baby and still remain that way at the age of 38 but not all want that energy and so they make it uncomfortable for you to be yourself.
-

RozieB59Opt to trusting your gutI’m new at listening to pod cast. I’m happy to now realize that what I thought was burnout is not even close to what I’ve learned from your podcast. Thank you for clearly reminding me and your other listeners that we have an inner voice and we should not be afraid to listen to ourselves. Thank you for giving me a new perspective.
-
Hot Girl WinterGreat contentI just started listening on 4/30/23 and the first thought was this information will move you emotionally.

Arielle mckinneyOPT INI don’t find it coincidence that God has lead me to this podcast. The OPT OUT mindset led my thoughts on the most positive journey today. The idea that I get to choose. That I don’t have to control anything but my right to choose is freeing and I perpetually OPT IN to JOY that is my birthright and inheritance! Thank you so much!
-
RoqsiBShort and sweetI have just recently found your podcast and I already love it… I love the concept of “opting” out of things that don’t serve you and opting into things that make you happy. The episodes are very good but they are straight to the point of the message you are trying to convey and I love that. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
-
LadyNiNa757Relatable PodcastThis is definitely needed & important no matter what age you are or where you are in your life.

uselessHBONot a black girl but identifableBrown girl here and enjoying these bite sized wisedoms. Girl for retraining my thinking patterns and staying present instead of spiraling in my head. Beware of crying randomly in public while listening.

Mpls~CC2Affirming, Insightful & LovingIn searching for a podcast that spoke to unique experiences of Black women and how burnout manifests in our lives I came across “Black Girl Burnout.” Since I began listening just a short few weeks ago I’ve gain insights that were affirming and at times scary because some episodes touched upon experiences I had compartmentalized in order to just make it through. There have even been episodes I had to stop to think about deeply before I could listen to them. The episodes are less than 30 minutes and provide just the right amount of insight and elevation without being preachy. Thank you for seeing and loving us Black Girls! ~ Ché
