I am making games now I’m working on my first game. I have an idea for your podcast, you should talk about some real games like other peoples. Yes yes I know it’s a big change and it’s totally fine if you don’t but that would be really cool and you should talk about MY game that I plan on posting in MAYBE 2 years (2026)it’s a 3d open world game with multiplayer and online gameplay the map is based on San Andreas and the game is called “Cruz”

I really enjoyed the format of this show, and it reminded me of TRBM podcast in the storytelling episodes. You have a set of randomly assigned guideposts to design a game, which function as the guardrails of a story that comes together. Just as I think this show would be perfect for anyone who wants to create games, I think it’s a great show for writers to listen to to exercise and hone their storytelling muscles. I’ll be listening to this show on my rotation well into the future.

My husband is a huge gamer and while I’m not, I do have an analytical mind and always want to know how things work. Listening to this podcast gave me a new appreciation for it all!

I love how this show imagines hypothetical games in a way that gives you a history and discussion of the games and consoles that inspire the creation of their hypothetical game.The only disappointment is when they describe something fun like Henchmen on Mars and finding out it didn’t exist.

My husband is a huge gamer so I put this podcast on while driving to Walmart and he was so engrossed. I thought the host was interesting but it wasn’t for me. My husband however is a new listener.

Within a few minutes of listening to Matthew and Scott, I was reminded of Jermaine and Brett. Trade Kiwi for British and music for gaming, and the tone and timing are similar. It makes it a joy to listen to their concept of mashing up (or blending) games with movies or whatever the random draw dictates. It's a fun listen!

I feel like I learned a lot about gaming just by hearing words used in context, and I could see this being a really great show for people who are interested in all things video games.
