Adam Rinde,NDMetabolic masteryDr. Sinha is a true Doctor. Which means he is not only a physician but also an amazing teacher. His podcasts are tremendous. I am enjoying listening to them sequentially. As a clinician and a podcaster myself; this podcast is top of the top.

Hagar7124Very technical but worth the effort to understandDr Ron’s podcasts on metabolic health are designed for listeners who want more than simple advice on dos and donts but instead want to delve deep into our body chemistry. Each episode picks up one aspect of our metabolism and attempts to explain it as best as doctors understand it using the precise scientific terminology. Of course, he adds in a lot of mnemonics and visualizations to make the complexity easy to remember. My only criticism would be that sometimes after listening to an episode I feel very well informed about the subject but at the same time I am not quite sure as to how to apply it to my life.

GOPAL45Ron SinhaDr. Ron Sinha is absolutely fantastic. His unique insight into metabolism and heart disease changed how I approach diet and exercise. As a sports medicine surgeon, I am very critical of any expert on exercise and nutrition. Dr Sinhas approach is filled with facts and not opinions. He makes it easy to understand for the layperson as well. I highly recommend reading his blog as well as listening to his podcast

GreyhoundXXWow -- a truthteller in wellness industry!Holistic Hypocrisy and Supplement Scams episode was a breath of fresh air! This was my first time to hear Dr Sinha's podcast although I've heard him before on Attia and another. I will be working to implement some of his suggestions, for instance don't worry so much about getting organic fruits/veg, as cost may be an overriding factor.

SlickChromeBenAn excellent host with outstanding researchDr Ron does a brilliant job explaining the science of longevity. One of the most challenging tasks is delivering science to the masses without overwhelming and confusing them; Ron has done it with his podcast.
-
nshanbhagAmazing podcast for anyone interested in metabolic health! There are lots of podcasts out there about longevity and health, and many of them are very good. I find this one to be absolutely excellent and foundational to really being able to understand the biochemistry behind metabolic health and fitness. If you’re a fan of Peter Attia, Rhonda Patrick, Mark Hyman, or others in this field, I would highly highly recommend this podcast as well and believe it will greatly increase your ability to understand these concepts at a nuts and bolts level. Bonus if you’re South Asian as there’s some nice additional education here on the specific metabolic issues facing that community.

easwaranavaneethanAwesome podcastI had been following dr rons work for some time. This podcast another way to make everyone understand the science . Even though I could not understand fully . I tried to listen multiple times . I always love Rons work and his blogs. I wish I was dr Ron’s patient

nancysmithwpWhen the student is ready……The teacher appears. I have been searching for exactly this type of podcast. All the little details of metabolism explained, but in small chunks that build on each other, with helpful stories to help you remember and tie them together. Previous concepts recapped constantly. He really is a master instructor. I’ve listened to other podcasts that assume a basic foundation, and only understand a small fraction. And others that gloss over details that I don’t know how much credibility to give to the host. But this podcast is Goldilocks for me. I’m listening from the beginning and am enthralled. This is hands down my favorite podcast. I never expected to find this caliber of an instructor doing podcasts. If you have heard terms like mtor, ampk, krebs cycle, insulin resistance, and wished you had a better understanding, this is for you. If you are intrigued by the details of fat and glucose metabolism, you’re in for a mind treat.

Jennifer Allison TranHighly recommend!Dr Sinha does a wonderful job breaking down complicated science into easy-to-digest segments. As a primary care provider, I learn so much from his podcasts and recommend them to my own patients who are the inspired to make lifestyle changes to prevent and manage their chronic illnesses.

sdesh20Incredible resourceDr Sinha’s insights are off the chart (pun intended). I had read his book about insulin resistance as a key cause of so many health solutions along with suggestions on simple lifestyle changes. It made a huge, positive impact on my life. So I was excited to see his podcast series. And it hasn't disappointed with significantly more detail on related issues. And btw for those who are visual learners, I also enjoyed his 7-part video series explaining all these issues. Overall, just terrific (and insightful)!
-
Sara StrattonEasy to understand complex topicsDr. Sinha breaks down more complex topics but in the easier to understand (and remember) way! Great teacher and actionable insights
-
MeekskiAmazing contentGood scientific information explained with helpful analogies. Dr Ron provides the knowledge you need to improve your health as a whole.

Gavin PutthoffThank you, Doctor! 🙏I found your podcast episode 4 to be very helpful with what I’m going through in my life, at the moment. Thanks a lot for your insight and encouraging words! Best wishes to you

darwin2dnaI thought I knew metabolism…I thought I knew metabolism, but Dr. Sinha helped me fill in some gaps in my knowledge, better frame the big picture & better remember things I already “knew”. The latest episode on protein synthesis was immediately actionable in understanding how to time lifting, endurance exercise, dietary protein and fasting to work together rather than in opposition.
-
Astral-44Amazingly Simplified ExplanationI have no medical background and yet I could mostly understand the complex process and science involved in how our bodies work in podcasts he posts. It is obvious that Dr. Ron is passionate about researching these complexities and passing on his knowledge and experience to others in simple, concise, easy to understand manner. He is a gifted speaker and I applaud the “Service to Others” path he has chosen.
-
npatel1181AmazingThank you for opening a new lens for me to focus more on lifestyle choices rather than extreme diets or exercise. I have been following your advice and already have felt significant changes in my energy levels.
-
gethealtheirSuper informative yet simplified!Amazing podcast by Dr. Ron. He clearly and simply teaches some complex topics, making it super easy to learn to be healthier. I will be sure to listen to his other podcasts - what a great find! Thanks Dr. Ron.
-
mejfshExcellentAs always, Dr. Ron does an amazing job of distilling complex science into easy to understand episodes for the layperson. The episodes certainly require focus, and I’ve had to listen to certain topics multiple times to fully grasp a concept, but understanding the functions of the body at a molecular level, sticks with you and makes you think twice about the foods you consume. Leading to lifestyle changes, not a diet. Thank you Dr. Ron
-
How_things_work_fanMolecular medicine for everyoneDr Ron's podcast is one of the best I've listened to. I like to understand how things work and he teaches molecular mechanisms in 30 minute segments which gives enough information for the brain to absorb and retain. To learn how our everyday habits are acting molecularly is simply fascinating and Dr Ron explains with such clarity. He's the best science teacher out there. I love this podcast
-
ringyroyYour health basis readily explainedDr. Sinha’s advice needs to be heeded by anyone interested in improving their health, their diet as they age. Yes even if you are in your 20s. But especially if you are overweight and especially if you are South Asian. I read his book and have been following his Instagram and email blogs. I have increased my weight training , implemented intermittent fasting and healthier then even before . I draw the line at cold showers he mentioned , but the rest I am on board. This podcast is especially useful at explaining the mechanism of insulin and how it affects you . Dr Sinha is a rock star amongst self help advice .
-
cool-tech-fanScientific explanation for obesity that justifies lifestyle changeDr. Sinha is a leader among physicians who recognizes the root cause of the pandemic of obesity that’s easy to see by walking around any shopping mall in America. Insulin resistance is a progressive condition that is the result of eating processed carbohydrates (sugar and refined grains) that leads to obesity, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, etc. Simply eliminating those foods from our diets can stop and reverse those disease processes. The detailed technical explanation of insulin resistance and various related metabolic processes in this podcast differentiates it from the avalanche of diet books and other advice that are seemingly based on some person’s opinion rather than clear, scientific fact. If you’d like to understand how your body works and why you should take the steps necessary to improve your lifestyle and your “health span,” listen to this podcast. I’ll have to say, a background in chemistry and biology would help in fully understanding some episodes, but give it a chance. The information is invaluable. I could be wrong but I have a feeling that many physicians could benefit from reviewing the information in this podcast. Their conclusion should be that they should promote lifestyle change to every metabolically unwell patient. On a personal note, I’ve lost 55 pounds and dramatically improved my blood markers and reduced my insulin resistance by changing to a low carbohydrate lifestyle. Dr. Sinha’s podcast provides a scientific explanation for the results I’ve seen and an understanding of why I should continue improving my metabolic health.

Nar NanIf i were to go to med school, I would like Dr Sinha to be my professorUnbelievable and simple way to explain complex topics…. I feel like i know as much as my doctor. The analogy hells s lot to remember! I wish more people explained such complex stuff like Dr. Sinha. Thanks Doc!

Healthspan seekerEasy to understand complex topicsDr Sinha makes it really easy to understand complex topics. This series is a must listen for anyone interested in understanding the biology of health
-
BritMAZVery informativeThis is a very in-depth look into how our bodies work on a cellular level which makes me appreciate he keeps the episodes short so it doesn’t get too overwhelming. Plus it makes it easier to relisten if need be because sometimes the information doesn’t stick the first time. He does a good job trying to make analogies to make the information easier to remember. I’m more of a visual learner so just hearing it makes it harder for me to retain so the analogies help a lot. I am really enjoying the information I am learning as knowing the “why” behind certain health advice always makes me more likely to follow it.

SP_chefComplex medical information explained elegantlyDr. Sinha is a very eloquent speaker, a passionate educator, and a deeply caring physician. I have never come across a doc who can explain the complex mechanisms of the human body in such an easy to understand method that a lay person can understand it so well. Try his podcasts & read his blog & book if you are someone who cares about your health & want to keep abreast of new research so that you can take care of yourself and your family in an optimal way. The content is top notch 👍🏼
