    Painful to listen to
As a parent of a child who runs both cross country and track this podcast is so horrible and uninclusive. It only ever talks about the top runners in the state and only gives glory to the privileged kids who don’t have to worry about anything in life except for running such as the families in Carmel where you coach. As for me I am a dad to a runner and we live in a very rural area and my daughter goes to a school where her team has only 9 athletes and their fastest runner runs around a 6:45 mile and where we live that is very fast and definitely celebrated. Not every runner is going to have the natural talent that someone like kole mathison has but that doesn’t make them any less of a runner. I am just so disappointed that the only representation on this podcast is for the large schools because the two main host are the coaches at Carmel. Please do better and I might actually appreciate your “efforts”. Love you know who

Most horrible thing I ever heard
Let me just start off by saying back in the day I was a runner and this is a disgrace to the sport. I am absolutely appalled by the kind of talk on this podcast. I am also a parent to 3 children who also run xc and track. As a parent this makes me livid. This podcast is so horrible and it really makes me disappointed to see how uninclusive this is and it shows me how these coaches see our athletes. It is so incredibly wrong to only give attention to the well privileged families such as some in carmel. It is unfair to those who may live in a more rural or rustic way and just because that is their lifestyle doesn’t mean they should be treated any differently. As a dad and a coach for a local public middle school we celebrate every runner for who they are and that doesn’t make them any less of a runner. This podcast just seems so corrupt and you are truly living in the bubble wrap. Very disappointed in your “efforts”. Love you know who

    Great Insight
Thanks for doing the podcast. As a parent of high school runners I enjoy the insight. It’s also great to hear about other teams and runners from around the state that we don’t see most of the year.

    Enjoying listening
Thanks for doing the podcast but I disagree with your opinion of switching to a 3 weekend tournament. I think the current format works very well. Also, I Despise the class tournament idea. Since you aren’t representing all levels and regions of the state, I think it’s hard for you to have a real feel for what goes on at every sectional. Yes many sectionals have much less talent/competition than Columbus North and Carmel, sectional victory is all they can dream for. If you want to have this conversation, then you need to invite coaches from small schools like Charlestown and Batesville.

    Great Podcast
This is the best podcast about Indiana high school running that I have ever heard. I have searched for years and this is the only one the gives me the updates I need to know with a great comedic touch. Keep up the great work. Also as a side note Taylor Marshall is the best guest yet!
