RosefoolHost laughs inappropriately frequentlyI would have given this podcast a 4, but the host laughs inappropriately (often at her own comment or question) FREQUENTLY. This behavior essentially ruined the whole show for me. Don’t these people listen to themselves? Or get objective feedback? Or work on their delivery? It’s very annoying.

SoCal Food FanTGIF !!Love Fridays - that’s when I get to enjoy this podcast! So much fun, so informative, too. Jamie’s the perfect host. The interview with Damaris was THE BEST!! So entertaining and we all need to laugh more. Thanks mucho

CaroleAnn2014More relatable chefs please!Seems like every episode is now about TOC or other competition cooking show. I miss the roots of Food Network where we learned how to cook! Would love some guests that are more relatable and not just out to compete in food game shows. Also expand and get guests that travel and explore other cuisines and cultures. I used to love this podcast but it’s getting a little worn .

jnjsmileEnjoyable podcastI went to rate your podcast and there was already an unrecognizable rating in there from me (?) - very bizarre. I never wrote what was reflected. So now I’m TRULY writing a rating. Anyhow, really enjoy your podcast. Didn’t care for JJ but you did a good job trying to deal with his rambling. Keep up the great work!

Madison.P.2020Life Changing To Say The LeastAs a college nursing student who began her journey during the height of the pandemic, it has been quite a rough transition from high school to say the least. Going from online coursework all of freshman year and being completely separated from my fellow peers to slowly getting back to normalcy as I turn 20 in my sophomore year, this podcast has been the one thing I can count on. Through bouts of depression and anxiety, listening to my favorite people on the food network talk about their lives gave me such a wonderful escape. I would walk around campus every day to this podcast with a smile on my face as people like Ted Allen, Anne Burrell, and Jet Tila recounted what their “perfect food day” would be. Thank you so much Jaymee Sire for being the most amazing host to my favorite podcast and for giving me something to look forward to every Friday.

FuncleBillysBBQBig fan of this showI love the show and the way it covers many different food related subtopics. My favorite episodes have been with Chef Anne and Justin Wagner. I think Jaymee brings a nice perspective to the show as a host and keeps things interesting. It always leaves me hungry (literally) and wanting the next episode sooner then 7 days. I love hearing the different stories that the guests have when it comes to their culinary experiences and how it shaped them.
-

SdpeasDelicious Morsels…What a delight this podcast is! Getting to listen to insightful conversations between Jaymee and the Food Network personalities is such a great way to start the weekend. Not only do we get a real and honest dialogue but the curtains to who they are as people is pulled back for us peek behind. I have to say that with every episode I come away with a new appreciation for a different person I’ve never met or spoken to personally before. Yeah, worth a listen

SwedishStormJust…… fun! What can I say - this is one of my favorite podcasts! I’m a foodie, have followed the Food Network since its early days, and have been a fan of Jaymee’s since her time being a report for the Golden State Warriors (before her time on ESPN). She has done a great job making every episode entertaining, with great questions, a lot of insight, lots of laughs, and a perfect length (30-35 minutes) to be the ultimate break during the week. Whether she’s interviewing some of the biggest names on the network (e.g. Michael Symon, Guy Fieri), or some of the lesser-known ones, Jaymee researches and finds the perfect questions to ask. I’ve learned something in every episode, whether it’s about the chefs/hosts themselves, a cooking technique or recipe, or something else. And every single week, I still ask myself “What would my perfect food day consist of?” Such a perfect, fun question to every podcast - and despite having heard it probably 20 times already, I still don’t have a great answer!
-
LvctenorAwesome host!Such a pleasure to listen to this podcast! Jaymee does her homework! She keeps the conversation going and interesting and doesn’t pepper her comments with “likes”, which so many other podcast hosts do.
-
MRMinSFGreat listen for fans of the Food Network...or fans of Food in GeneralI recently binged through the whole season to date over and have thoroughly enjoyed every episode. A long time Food Network, and now Discovery+ fan, Obsessed gives great insight and more to the stars, and their shows. Jaymee Sire is a great host! She's warm and friendly and her connection with the guests always sounds genuine and her love of good food comes through as they talk. Besides learning the guests backstory (Carla Hall was fascinating!) I loved hearing how many chefs originally turned down their chance to be on the Food Network! The final question answers to the guests favorite meal always leaves me hungry and it definitely gets me thinking, "How would I answer that question?". What I have truly enjoyed in listening is that it's introduced me to new shows on the Food Network I might not have normally watched but now want to check out now because I found the interview so interesting. I hope there are more episodes in the works because I can safely say "I'm Obsessed!".
