if you like infomercials then this is for you
wow where to start - i guess if you like self promoting infomercials then this is for you - otherwise there are many other points podcasts that aren’t one giant commercial for themselves and how great their “business” is. listen to those instead! Literally all this lady does is self promote and try to get you to sign up for her classes or use her credit card links. Honestly her method that she teaches can be gotten for free anywhere on the intent and it doesn’t take a genius to figure that out.

    Loving this podcast!
I thoroughly enjoy listening to this podcast about travel. I have learned a great many tips on how to earn points via credit card offers and using them to book Southwest flights, hotels, etc. I've also earned a Southwest companion pass! I love all the various travel topics Lyn covers in these podcasts as well!

Families Fly Free has so Much to Offer
FFF taught me how to achieve the SW companion pass without ever taking one flight. We were able to fly to Hawaii using the SW companion pass last month. FFF is a very hard working team that is there to answer any questions you might have concerning your travel. I have learned so many travel tips from belonging to FFF. FFF teaches you how to save on hotels and car rentals as well. The community of FFF has very valuable information as well. I have learned many tips from posts in the community. I have been a member since October of 2022.

Friendly and Financially Savvy Podcast on How to Properly Use Travel Rewards
I’ve been listening to Lyn for over 6 months and have learned so much on how to use travel rewards the proper way. Her friendly podcast episodes, YouTube videos, and monthly membership calls have made this travel planning journey FUN and stress-free. Highly suggest giving this podcast a listen.

Families Fly Free is SO BIG
I’m writing this review because in the past (an eternity ago) I saw a comment on Facebook from someone that said that FFF was only about one thing, how to get a SW Companion Pass. That’s so not true. FFF is so much bigger than that. I’ve learned how to use travel points through SW Airlines and also other credit card travel sites, explore new destinations with the team and other members, and learned the best tips that are so unexpected. My FFF membership has been a great resource and inspiration for me in my retirement years and the unexpected benefit has been new relationships and new friends in travel from all over the US. It’s just so much more than I ever expected it to be.

    Excited Beginner
I found this podcast over the summer 2023 and I listened to some episodes at least 3 times. Very clear, concise information presented very articulate. I am excited to say I have my first Southwest credit card. I am ready to apply for the next one to earn my sign up bonus and earn my Companion Pass in 2024. Thanks Lynn for sharing all your insights and the others you have brought on the show, very helpful. ✈️

    So informative!
I love this podcast! It is so informative. I get excited to implement the information I’ve learned here. And the podcast hosts level headed even keeled temperament help me to think through the logic of my decisions. Thank you for helping us understand these complicated rewards systems. Please do a podcast on the new Delta Skymiles credit card offer - 90,000 sign up points, $350 annual Cost of the card, and fly with a plus one. I can’t tell if there is a minimum number of points to obtain prior to obtaining plus one status.

Don’t waste your time - I’d give it no stars if I could.
If you are looking to learn about points and miles travel- scroll on by. There is nothing to learn here. It is an infomercial for this woman’s paid service. You will Learn absolutely NOTHING but how good her service is from her and her guests. It is entirely possible that her service is decent but based on the fact that she keeps the price a secret- you know it’s probably expensive. The only good review on here seem to be written to those who paid for it. There are plenty of podcasts in here that have great content FOR FREE.

    Total sales pitch
This podcast is a complete waste of time. The podcast only exists to try to recruit new people to buy memberships in her group, where she will teach you how to travel hack. You can get all the information that she’s trying to sell you for free from many other digital content creators by googling “travel hacking”.
  • Dustin Krutsinger
    Commercial
Unfortunately there is no useful information on the podcast, it is limited to being a sales pitch for a course. There are many helpful and free podcasts available that will tell you everything you need to know about flying for free.

    Great resource for travel hacking

I *was* skeptical at first too BUT!
Lyn provides a great product & its worth it! There is extra in the value for you if you decide to join. I mean, who doesn’t want to take vacations for free?!
  • SNBM4
    Long winded commercial
There is very little useful information in each episode. 90% of the episodes are a sales pitch to buy a membership to her program.

If you like listening to commercials, subscribe to this podcast
Listened to a few episodes hoping to learn something here or there, but each one felt like one big commercial. Unfortunately a waste of time.

    Very Impressive
Recently signed up for Lyn’s program. Looking forward to flying free in the near future.

    Mostly a commmercial
There are a few tidbits here and there, but you have to listen to a lot of promotional material for a very expensive service and long-winded stories to get to them.
  • Not worth listening
    Misleading
I have listen to a couple of the podcasts and they hint at helpful information, but the paid subscription is always pushed. The information in the podcast is not that helpful overall.

Thoughtful travel pros who saved my family $10k in the first year on airfare alone
I highly recommend Lyn and the Families Fly Free program to anyone looking to minimize their travel expenses and maximize memories with families and friends. Our family joined the FFF program near the end of 2021 because my wife and I wanted to start planning travel for our family of 4 before it was too late with our college age boys leaving the house for graduate school and jobs outside the state of Oregon. (I know, we started late…) The pandemic created an urgency in our family to start creating more travel memories, exploring new places in the US and truly appreciate the time we have while we all still have our health. Before joining FFF our family vacations consisted of long weekends or holiday visits driving to beautiful Central Oregon from our home in Portland or using our limited funds to spend on airfare to visit family. We didn't feel like we had the means to spend on luxuries like booking airfare and finding destinations to explore until we joined FFF. In the first year - in 2022 - as FFF members, we flew all four of us to Chicago, Vail, and Hawaii all for free and only using SWA points; for our trip to Hawaii we only used 40k points for all four of us to travel - a savings of nearly 200k points - thanks to Lyn, her team, her webinars, online modules and community forum. Not only does Lyn help us save money and maximize points on airfare, but she teaches you the right way to do it and truly cares about you as a person and wants you to realize these benefits first hand. If you want to travel more, save money, have great assistance, gain insight, and create lasting memories, Families Fly Free is awesome and well worth the investment. Highly recommend. 😊 BTW, she has a money back guarantee, too. Who else does that? No risk. High reward.

    Always Helpful
What a gem! Lyn makes implementing a travel rewards strategy seem so - well - rewarding. Her tips and travel success stories are inspiring, not to mention the awesome destination discussions and wonderful explanations of everything from credit card perks (and which are the best) to packing like a pro! A must listen even for those who 'don't know what they don't know'.

    It’s an infomercial
If you are looking for a travel podcast with a lot of useful information, try Frequent Miler. Families Fly Free is simply an infomercial to advertise a program which is targeted to people who don't have time to figure things out on their own by reading Reddit r/awardtravel or other travel websites. Occasionally Lyn will have guests on her show and Lyn will basically ask them to recommend her program to the listeners. There are many sites out there that tell you how to time the earning of a companion pass (travelbykatie.com) I haven't joined her program but I am curious about her Southwest Hack. If I were to guess, I would think it is either 1) keep checking prices after you've booked and change your flight if the price drops to the exact same flight to save on points; 2) Book with the lowest amount of points for a Wanna Get Away Plus and call the day of the flight and switch for free to any other flight with availability; or 3) if the companion pass holder is low on rapid rewards, have a person who does have rewards book a flight for the companion pass holder and have the CP holder add the person who had the points (or whoever is listed as the companion). These are just my guesses, but I wouldn't be surprised if I am wrong. Although you might save money as a result of joining this program, you would save far more if you just did a little research on your own. The price, $1,595.00, is really for people who have plenty of money, aren't curious about finding things out on their own, and just want someone to hold their hand, of which there are many. 😁

Like the podcast but really it is a big ad
I want to really like this podcast and what Lyn is offering but the podcast, in my opinion, is really just an advertisement for her paid program. It is audio clickbait - learn how to fly to Hawaii for free - and then when listening it is only revealed after signing up to be a paid member of her service. Don’t get me wrong I like the concept of her program but I hate the hard sell. I listen then Google the answer.

Their guidance gave me confidence to travel hack!
There is plenty of info out on the web for you to muddle through and do it in your own (with anxiety that you’re doing it wrong the whole time)! That is exactly what kept me from sitting on the sidelines of travel hacking for the last few years. I bit the bullet and subscribed to FFF program in January and after one big trip across the country for my family of four, the subscription has already paid for itself! There is endless learning with the information they put out constantly via podcasts, the classroom app, etc.

A gold mine to help you fly free!!!!
Lyn makes it so simple with easy to follow steps to earn a LOT of frequent flyer miles! I am so excited about implementing and making memories with my family in Hawaii next year!
  • BirdiegirlNJ
    Really a sales podcast
This podcast does dribble good tidbits of information but it really is a way to sell her travel program and after a while that gets old. Also, she pushes the southwest companion fare (which is awesome when you get it) but go in knowing that the referral link to credit cards is how she keeps her companion pass. Its near impossible for the average person to continue to earn 125,000 miles to maintain the pass without getting points thru the referral system or via opening new cards. So listen with eyes wide open. Take the info you can use and leave the rest.

Awesome travel “hacking” tips and easy to follow
These informative podcasts are great for money saving travel tips, destination info and strategies to have better family vacations. I tried Lyn’s program and was pleasantly surprised on its simplicity and the wealth of knowledge I picked up on even for someone like me who has been at the travel hacking game for several years.

Now our family always flies free!
So glad that we found this podcast! I wanted to travel with my kids, but I didn’t think we could afford it. I tried to travel with points in the past, but it was complicated and hard to keep up with. Lyn’s way of doing things is simple, straightforward, and it works! We just started using Lyn’s tips and strategies this year, and we’ve already taken two big family trips, and have another one in the works for this fall. Amazing!

    This really works!!
I discovered Lyn’s website two years ago, and my husband and I have been flying free ever since! I am a frugal couponer, too, and her ideas are so practical and helpful. Lyn’s attention to detail helps answer most questions I have had, and you can reach out to her personally if you have further questions. I highly recommend you checking out these podcasts and begin your travel adventures with little to no cost!!

    Great tips
I’ve listened to a couple podcasts and both had great insights to traveling at very low costs or even no costs. Looking forward to listening more...I’m a somewhat savvy traveler already but that’s why I want to listen more - you never know where that great learning experience will come from and this podcast certainly has tips that can be applied at all levels.

I am not a newbie to the miles and points game. But listening to Lyn on her podcast as well as using the resources inside of her all access program has been incredibly valuable. Just booked a trip for my family of five to Colorado to experience winter all because of Lyn’s tips!
