I just want to mention how much I love this podcast. I have one art dept credit under my belt and am looking for ways to learn more about what buyers do as I transition from theatre props to film! Enormously thorough, helpful, and the host is such a warm and friendly presence. Thanks for sharing all of this information and pulling back the veil on what set dec does!

I’m a six year art dept person, and I love this show for connecting so many dots, because we all know in this trade we learn on the fly and every “baptism” is “of fire.” So I’m begging y’all to do an episode on tape rolls. I wanna know everything there is to know about everyone's tape rolls. The whats and the whys. Even if you don’t I’ll keep binge listening. Thank you for this podcast

This first episode is quirky and offbeat with lots of practical information mixed in. As someone who works in design but not within the film industry it was super interesting to hear about how the whole thing works. Looking forward to more episodes with interviews and to hear about specific movies and sets!
