They bring such awesome action to the podcast, very knowledgeable guys. One of my favorite podcasts. I'm an avid bowhunter and this is the real deal!!! Highly recommend you give them a listen.

    Great Insight
Just listened to the Q & A with new bowhunter. They gave a lot of great insight. As a first year bowhunter I’ve had the great luck of having two very good bowhunters as resources. Just took my first Buck on a trip to S. Illinois and all of these tips resonated. I shot 40-50 arrows a day since May. I pay attention to my wind when choosing which set to hunt. I range everything around me when I get there so I can confirm but still have a good idea in case they sneak in on me. My shot was 35 yds and I put it in his lower 1/3 right behind the heart double lung. He went 40 yds and laid down. Preparation is the key.

    Good content poor audio quality
I do enjoy the podcast, but find the audio to be aggravating. I don’t know if the problem is the microphone or the mixing. Hoyt isn’t a small company, the audio shouldn’t be so cheap.

    Had to turn this off
Won’t even let the guest talk. All about mountain hunting. Stupid argument for jogging vs strength training.

Great Guest list on the show
They always have awesome guests on the show and Allen and Evan do an awesome job interviewing them. Danny however usually spends most of the time talking about himself and telling his own stories rather than the guests and experts. Annoying. Listen to the Justin Davis episode if you want a really good example of what I’m talking about. Wish he would let the guests talk and actually ask them thoughtful questions. The episodes are always solid when Allen of Evan direct the conversation though.

    Host…
Sorry, not a Danny fan! Would rather have Allen and another host, or just Allen! Maybe Bill Winke! One of the reasons, I only listen to certain Subjects here…

    Great Guests!
Host is also very knowledgeable. Looking forward to host perfecting his craft.

    It’s ok
Danny the host really likes to hear the sound of his own voice. He talks way too much and is constantly interrupting guests. He needs to just be quiet and let the guests talk.

    Favorite Podcast out there
Danny and Allen have all of my respect in the world. I have followed Allen for a long time and he is one of my biggest inspirations in the bowhunting field. This podcast is the best in not just that they talk to bowhunting greats, but also about conservation, something that has to be brought to the light in order to keep our hunting traditions alive. I don’t have a single Hoyt piece of gear, but the respect that I have for the company is all thanks to these guys.

    Awesome
How many times can the host say the word AWESOME and COOL? It would have been so much better if they had just let Chris talk and stop interrupting him and talking over him. Missed opportunity at a great poscast

    Podcast would be better if…
Ok podcast but it’s not worth listening to since Hoyt can’t produce bows for consumers to purchase in an acceptable amount of time. Fun to hear about all the new tech that is only available to pro staff shooters and made unavailable to the general public to purchase.

    Favorite bowhunting podcast
This podcast has become my favorite bowhunting podcasts. The guests and topics are fantastic. It’s not just a Hoyt marketing show, but something that feels like family — conversations with hunters who value the animals, the outdoors, and the cameraderie that comes through the hunting lifestyle. I don’t even shoot a Hoyt anymore (shoulders have forced a move to a crossbow). But these guys and their guests are my people.

    Needs improvement
The podcast could use better host. The current hosts lack in the capability of asking meaningful questions. The people they interview have meaningful knowledge and experiences but they do not do them justice.

    I like it
Awesome podcast my only complaint would be that Allen highjacks the podcasts. I just listened to the one with Randy Ulmer. He would ask Randy a question and as Randy would be answering the question and then Allen cuts him off to ask another question which resulted in a lot of unanswered questions.
