    Good Information but Sexist
Very “Mom” exclusive language in the way she talks. I guess she doesn’t believe dads or other parents should be involved…

    Excellent resource!
We are in the beginning stages of our dyslexia journey with our daughter and many episodes have been so helpful. Nicole shares thoughtful information she’s learned parenting her own dyslexic daughter. She also has wonderful guests/experts on the many layers of dyslexia, many of whom have personal experience with dyslexia in their families. The show notes are also a great resource.

Real life, easy to follow tips!
I ran across this podcast while navigating a new diagnosis for my daughter while in public school during virtual school. Trying to understand the IEP process for a diagnosis that is not recognized by the school system is very confusing and the series on IEP’s and services was incredibly helpful.

    Amazing resource!
This podcast is for every parent with a dyslexic child. Better than any book or article because you get to hear straight from a Mom who has experienced the ups and downs of dyslexia. Nicole is incredibly knowledgeable and asks her guests all the questions you need answers to for your child. Highly recommend!

    Excellent Resource!
As a mom who is early in the dyslexia journey, I am so glad that I stumbled across this podcast. After my daughter was diagnosed, I had to make a decision within 2 weeks to get her into an immersion school and begin the school year in this new environment. Getting my child tested, finding a school, educating myself on dyslexia and learning to advocate all during Covid has been quite a whirlwind. I appreciate the insights and the reassurance that I am not alone in this journey!

Finally a Podcast for Parents of a Dyslexic Child!
It is such a relief to find this podcast. As a parent of a dyslexic child, it is so overwhelming to hear of that your child is going to struggle. This podcast has helped so much already with how to get help and what resources are out there. My husband has also been listening, and thankfully, he is starting to finally "get it". He kept telling me that we just need to find out what motivates our son to get him to work harder, but he is now learning, that is not the approach we need to take. It isn't that simple. Thank you Nicole for creating this and providing us parents the information we were longing for.

    Episode 7
Episode 7 is what I needed to hear. It was like hearing everything I am feeling with my child and what I wish her school could hear. It was so powerful to me that I want to make everyone I know listen to it. People don’t know the struggle of dyslexia and what a parent and children go through unless you live that life.

Parents of dyslexic learners need this podcast
This podcast is an outstanding resource for any parent who is in the trenches of helping their dyslexic child navigate school, relationships, self-esteem, and overall life. While dyslexic learners have many unique strengths sometimes referred to as ‘Dyslexic Superpowers’, they also face unprecedented challenges in learning how to read which affects them in all areas of their lives. Nicole provides great action oriented resources for parents seeking to set their dyslexic child up for success.
