Joined by translator and Series Editor Dr. Jonathan Rose and Off The Left Eye host and personality Curtis Childs, we follow threads into the past, discovering that what we find often is eminently relevant to the present.Inside Off The Left Eye is a project of the Swedenborg Foundation—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, independent, educational organization for those seeking to explore spirituality and faith. Wonderful Podcast and Podcasters
Swedenborg’s teachings seem “too simple” to me for some reason. Too neat and tidy. But maybe the Divine is found in simplicity. In any case, I always come back to Off The Left Eye. The people there are wonderful and I love the way they teach. Thank you!

The Joy of Swedenborg shared with friends
I’m just loving listening to Chelsea and Curtis chatting about Swedenborgs writings. When Chelsea asks Jonathan to join its even better. His knowledge of Swendborg is amazing The love between these friends is delightful to listen to.I saw someone, a little rudely commented , why do you laugh all the time, I know why it’s Curtis’s sense of humor 🤣😂😂. I laugh too while listening .Can’t help it . And love to laugh ! Never stop laughing !

    The Historical Swedenborg
I very much like the OTLE podcasts. Chelsea has a great voice that tickles my ear and Curtis - I love his sarcasm! Of course, Dr. Rose puts it all together for everyone 🥳. I like the historical perspective that you share and can you please tell us Swedenborg’s age when you are giving dates? Considering myself the resident Buddhist, I have been studying Swedenborg for about five years and enjoy juxtaposing Buddhism and Swedenborgianism (Got a love those isms). It’s exciting in that I very often find more similarities than differences. Thanks and keep up the excellent podcasts!

    Why so much laughing
Why do you laugh all the time? Are you nervous? Do you think what you are reading is ridiculous? Are you playing a joke on us? Perhaps you have inside jokes that we don’t know about? Are you trying to be funny? I think laughing is appropriate when something is said that would make the listener laugh too, but that is not the case in this show. It’s frustrating because it is so distracting...and I’m a huge fan of comedy but I see nothing worthy of so much laughter on the channel.

    Particular Delight
I sit here with my coffee with the sense that I’ve spent 30 mins with three close friends who all love Swedenborg. Chelsea, Jonathan, and Curtis make their bright faced spirits audible with personal anecdotes and with a generous invitation into their well-stocked pantry of Swedenborgian trivia. Yes! I am a serious Swedenborg nerd! Come join in the nerdery! The episode on Spiritual Awakening gave me particular delight.
