Found this looking for stories to fall asleep to and this does the trick! Not because they're boring at all (I often go back and relisten during the day), but because Jim has such a nice vocal tone and cadence, and narrates so well. Highly, highly recommend! Great library of classics here and his recordings do the authors proud! 🙏🏼

Jim Moon wonderfully brings classic spooky stories to life with his excellent narration and interesting introductions. I love the "music from the Eldritch Light Orchestra" that ends each episode, too. He is also a talented writer, occasionally including an original tale of his. I particularly enjoyed his October 2023 "Door" series. This is a wonderful companion to his Hypnogoria podcast.

I highly recommend this podcast. The story color is excellent and the stories are too. It’s very worth it with very minimal advertisements thank you for such a pleasurable experience!

I like this podcast - a lot of fun. If I had one small request it would be to please shorten or remove the music. It detracts rather than helps and is just too long. But great content otherwise.

Listening to Mr Moon read ‘The Night Wire’ or ‘Secret Snow, Silent Snow’ ... how can you go wrong? ‘Nuff said.

I have followed Mr. Moon for years on his other podcast and I was delighted to see that he has created a new one for his readings of old, weird tales and some newer stories. As always, I am impressed by his knowledge, presentation, and the high quality of his production. I look forward to his readings and would recommend this show to anyone with an interest in spooky and dark tales.

Mr Jim Moon presents some of the best readings I have ever heard of various creepy and chilling stories that exist in literature. He is never boring but rather is professional in presentation, both in vocal quality and background ambient sounds. This podcast is especially effective when listening late at night. I listen to him in California and always look forward to this and his other podcasts.
