Great podcast for all things hypermobility from a PT
As a Doctor of Physical Therapy, I enjoy listening to this informative podcast for all sorts of hypermobility-related topics. I am a hypermobile individual with multiple autoimmune disorders, and I specialize in treating hypermobility and EDS. It’s great to hear current research from MDs who are leaders in this field. I also enjoy the dance related episodes as I treat many aerialists. Thank you for providing this high quality, evidence based content!

    Useful Research In Layman’s Language
Bendy Bodies is an amazing podcast! I’ve been listening since the beginning. I especially enjoyed the interviews with Dr Chopra. He has so many hacks he loves to share! If you have EDS or another type of hypermobility disorder, be informed- this is your go-to source for EDS and all its comorbidities.

I so appreciate this podcast and its ability to bring complex subject matter in an accessible way!!!! THANK YOU, Dr. Linda Bluestein!!!! As a parent of an adult with hEDS, MCAS, POTS, and many other related conditions, I struggle on a daily basis to educate others, especially providers, and other skeptics in our lives about the multiple various medical conditions that my offspring deals with—on top of being gender non-binary, non-neuro-typical, short, and female presenting—ie, ripe for dismissal on multiple counts. I have shared your podcast and will continue to do so.

    Episode 72
Just listened to this episode on upper extremity issues. I learned so much. Why did my shoulder get worse with PT and message? Explained. I had questions on ring splints and painful muscles. Answered. This was great information.

    Great podcast
Really appreciate the hacks! Love to hear even more from Dr. Chopra and other EDS gurus. It’s nice to hear them speak in a question and answer format vs a lecture.

Targeted towards a specific subset of bendy bondies, but great info for ALL bendies.
Episode 35 with Dr Maitland deserves 10 stars. If you want to learn about mast cell disorders, listen to that episode. Another doctor on a different podcast stated that Mast Cell Activation Syndrome is so prevalent in hypermobile people that he is more surprised when he meets a hypermobile patient that DOESN’T have MCAS than when he meets those that do. It is tragic how few doctors can recognize mast cell disorders, so for this information alone, this podcast is a treasure. It helps us bendies be better educated and therefore be “better” consumers of the healthcare system. Sometimes that means having to look hard for the right doctors, or maybe it means educating our own current doctors when they are willing to learn. The podcast, especially given that it is led by a doctor and then often interviews doctors - is a solid part of the education we need. Recommend!

Thank you for Creating this podcast!!!
I can’t thank you enough for starting this podcast, hypermobility is an area that is so under discussed and under researched in the medical community! Having been diagnosed with hypermobility and all the injuries that come along with it, it’s been extremely hard to find professionals to work with that understand how they can help and strengthen instead of pushing stretching on an already limber body. Thank you thank you creating this, can’t wait to listen to all of the episodes!!
