Me & the appThank you for this podcastI am an over the road truck driver and an avid scrapbooker and card maker. I so enjoy listening to this podcast as I drive across the country. I have been inspired in many areas but especially in the Cards for Kindness. I just sent my first batch of cards out and I hope they will bring a smile to those that receive them. Thank you for doing this. I just love it! Pamela Boyer

JanaO'Awesome!I loved this 50th celebration look back at the past podcasts! It really made me interested in listening to all of them! Great subjects and guests 😍

Erika DirectsCards for KindnessI have to tell you about a sweet experience this week. I was listening to a Scrapbook.com podcast and they were talking about cards for kindness. I teach communication so I decided to teach about the lost art of written communication. I was able to use up some stash, first rolls of completed washi. Also a bunch of punched shapes and journaling cards. I even ran out of card bases So they used the construction paper from my room. This was such a good use of my product. All kids didn’t love it equally. We wrote to people in our local nursing home. And I even encouraged them to write loved ones. Today I had the kids reflect on what they had learned and it was amazing to see the feelings they had after doing it. I was touched to tears. It’s moments like that when I remember why being a teacher is so special! Erika in Idaho, teacher and director and scrapbooker

DLMiller101Gets creative juices flowingI love listening to the Life Handmade podcast on my walks. Hearing my ‘friends’ chat about creating while I’m enjoying fresh air and scenery gets me inspired. Thank you for sharing all of your knowledge and ideas. It’s definitely a breath of fresh air.
-
mellimerLOVEI love love love this podcast. I love learning about designers and finding out about all the things we have in common. Plus I love all the organizing tips you give. I look forward to new episodes and wish they aired more often. I can’t get enough.

robinskjLove listening !I’m a casual crafter about to tip over into a serious one. 😂 Love listening to designers, artists, crafters and others in the industry. I have taken several free classes from scrapbook.com and this is just more great content from them! I much prefer buying from them other generic big box stores or Amazon (boo). I appreciate all the different venues that scrapbook.com makes things available for crafters, and I’m finding new things all the time. 👏

sikoopI found my peopleI have always been crafty but didn’t take myself seriously and definitely did not consider myself a crafter. I knew there were crafty people out there but I thought crafters were a very specific kind of person that I wasn’t. After listening to this podcast, not only do I now feel like I belong somewhere, but also that I am, in fact, a crafter and proud of it. In many of the episodes you will hear how often crafts have helped someone through some very difficult times - something I had never considered. I feel honored to be part of this larger group of truly caring people and to be learning exciting new things at the same time. I look forward to every episode!

AliceScrapsWonderlandThe Perfect Podcast for Every Paper CrafterI absolutely love listening to the Life Handmade podcast! Each episode is thought provoking and I enjoy hearing from all the guests. I also love learning all the great tips and tricks that are shared. It’s the perfect podcast to listen to while paper crafting or while relaxing. And even though I’m not a part of the conversation, I feel like I’m having coffee with friends, chatting about something we all love!

can'tthinkofone“Ding, Ding, Ding”Please re-record this episode WITHOUT those annoying “dings” for each time that you mentioned slimline dies. I am an avid crafter, and I love hearing about new products. However, the “dings” were so distracting that all I could focus on was when the next one was coming.

WMN14Promoting Diversity and Inclusion in CraftingThis was an awesome episode! -
mycreativespaceAmazing podcast with Vicki and LayleI’ve followed Vicki for awhile now and seriously love her but didn’t know Layle so it was fun getting to know her and I will be sure to follow her in the future. One thing that struck me is when Layle pointed out that one of the biggest things that makes Vicki’s collections sell out is that she uses the things and I can tell you that is very true! I also love how you all encourage us to try the things even if we don’t feel like they are in our wheelhouse. You just never know, we should not limit ourselves. Thank you scrapbook.com for posting this podcast, it was a great way to start my day. 💗🦋🌈📔✂️

VickiellLife Handmade is InspirationalI have been binge listening and the stories, take aways for life and connecting is so up lifting and inspirational. Not only are there tips and ideas about a variety of creative mediums but the sense of community and deep friendships come through loud and clear. Whether you have been creating for decades or just starting out you will be energized by how and what you can do. And how this industry can truly help you to be a better person and connect with yourself and others. I hope this podcast continues for a very long time. Thank you to Scrapbook.com for presenting this program. Vickie

Henrietta ViktorGreat SeriesWhen I spend my “me time” it’s with those interviewed in this series. Getting to understand more about them as I chose the things I bring into my life and pages and precious free time is wonderful! I started listening while driving to work in the morning. What a great start to my day.
-
bdebsingShimelle Laine Continues to Glitter!I loved this interview wi Shimelle Laine. As always she brings memory keeping beyond the pretty paper and embellishments, bringing meaning and depths with her thoughtful insights. Thanks, Shimelle, for your wisdom and expertise. You are a treasure!
-
ladijuliBrilliant PodcastI love the Life Handmade podcast so much! I feel a real connection with most of these artists and designers. I have been following many of them for years, and some, like Shimelle, since the Two Peas days. (She may not know me, but we’re best friends. Ha!) The episodes have been very well done and I’m picking up tips and fun insights in each one. Thanks for bringing us the great content.

AnnieS99Such talented people and content here!Listening to a podcast while crafting is how I spend my “free” time. Life Handmade by Scrapbook.com is my favorite. The guests they interview are so inspiring. I always learn something new, or am reminded of a technique that I want to revisit. I love that I feel connected to ladies with my same interests during this quarantine of 2020. Thank you!! Ann Smart

jasueiidfjdbwbiwowiwnwLife Handmade: Interview with Shimelle LaineI just listened to Shimelle’s interview this morning. I have listened to the interviews with Heidi Swapp, Jen Hadfield, and the discussion from the Creativation show in January. I so appreciate this resource as a paper crafter. Their words give purpose to what I do and live, and their real discussions related to life and to craft are also inspiring. I also like that it is in a podcast format, so I can listen rather than watch. The format makes it so you can create or work or cook and still participate. Thank you for providing this resource!
-
beatrizs1974Loving this seriesI really enjoyed listening to my favorite scrapbookers, specifically Shimelle Laine.
-

IpadforrelaxationInspireDelightful content! Thank you for providing a platform for artists to share their stories with us. Please, keep them coming.
-
Pam in NCShimelle LaineI’ve followed Shimelle’s scrapbooking career since the early days. I’ve loved that she keeps the focus on memory keeping and encourages us to record our stories. Her collections have always been current without being trendy. Her color collections are timeless and she chose colors & designs that could work well together (who uses up an entire collection before the next comes out?!). She has no problem using products from other designers on her pages. She’s one of us! Still, even if she had never designed a collection I would be a fan because she encourages everyone to record their memories - not just moms. She’s an amazing teacher and her authenticity shines through every thing she does.
-

ShinyleafInspiring and UniqueI love hearing from other crafters and memory keepers. There are not a lot of podcasts for paper crafters and scrapbookers so I’m always happy to discover a new one and look forward to listening to new episodes while I craft. Episodes include great inspiration and reminders to keep crafting and sharing memories.
-
ArindgeHeidi Swapp ♥️♥️♥️Amazing interview with the amazing Heidi Swapp, who I love for creative reasons, but whom I deeply admire for her immense strength, vulnerability, openness with us, her loyal followers, in what she’s going thru. I remember the day I learned of her sons passing.... I cry just thinking of it now, I was just crushed for her, wondering if this was it for her and all her creative sharing. I wouldn’t have blamed her ONE BIT, but she shared, kept creating, talking, and then with her podcast, learning and sharing that. I think God is good and she is proof. I’m inspired to keep my scrapbooks and journaling and photo keeping because of her messages, of how our kids and family need it and sometimes don’t know it. It is my job with my love of doing this, to keep our family legacy (good and bad, folks, it’s life) alive. Cannot wait to see how my kids understand all that love I pored onto the pages, how it’s all for them. ♥️ Great job, love the show! A.R.
-
michpriceSo excited about this!Just binged a bunch of episodes and can’t wait for more! Loved hearing the recap of Creativation and was so touched and inspired by the Heidi Swapp episode.
-
CreatEveSDMeaninful & InspiringLove this podcast! It shows how scrapbooking is not just for fun is because it means something and it can help connecting with our significant others. Truly amazing how Heidi opens up with us. You never know what battle someone is fighting be kind to one another ❤️. Finally a podcast I can listen and get excited. Can’t wait for her new release!
-
MheiderfitInspiring! Most crafters have stories behind why they craft that are personal and meaningful. It's such a privilege to listen to some of these inspirational creators talk about not only what they do, but why they do it. Best part? I can listen while I create in my own home!
-
Golferguy78Love it!!There aren’t near enough wonderful podcasts for those of us who love handmade!! With this, Scrapbook.com gives us one more way to spark our creativity and gain inspiration through a like-minded community! Thank you SB.com!! I’ll be listening!!
-
KevinStrangeOpened my eyesI love this podcast and it has totally changed my mind about journaling/ scrapbooking! I’m going to start making more time to record things and share stories with my daughters. Great job and great insight! Thank you.
-
bootsy3Inspiring and EmotionalMore than ‘just’ a crafting podcast. There are so many unique perspectives and raw emotions / not to mention, inspiration for days. If the first episodes are any indication, we’re in for a whole lot of greatness in the episodes to come.
-
BreAnnLSo good!I love that Heidi reminds us that it’s about telling the story. I enjoy people telling their story and why memory keeping is important to them.
-
JennimocPerfect Start to the Podcast!SO very excited to have another podcast to listen to. Love it all, love the idea, music and can’t think of a better start than Heidi Swapp! She is my ultimate scrapbook idol...hers were the first creations I obsessed over and still have some of her very first products that I just need to keep and hoard! I had the pleasure to meet her in person at Creativation last year and she is just as charming in person as she is on the air. She constantly amazes me with her reinvention of simple ideas; sharing her enthusiasm, inspiration and family with everyone. Congratulations on a great start! 👍🏻👍🏻
-
Multiplicity CraftsMore than just Scrapbooking! The episode with Heidi Swapp was very eye-opening to me! Her words and advice are inspiring and teaches us that scrapbooking is all about memories, family, and love... not perfection. I appreciate her openness also.
-
17turtledA gateway to sharingI was crafting as I sat down to listen to this podcast and as it progressed the project I had been struggling with took on a new life! I was so inspired by all that Heidi shared and as a crier myself, I was crying right along with her. What we do as crafters, scrapbookers, card makers , etc is give ourselves an creative outlet that can be a gateway to sharing love and joy with those around us. Thank you Heidi for being so real! And thank you Scrapbook.com for an excellent podcast. I’m definitely looking forward to the upcoming episodes!
-
Saundra@CraftedBlissStudioSo InspiringHeidi’s story of how her children feel her love through her documenting their stories with pictures is so inspiring. I loved listening to her interview! What a great way to get to know the artists in the craft industry. I’m looking forward to more!
