EmtterriLove this podcast!I am soooooo glad I found you guys! I have been binging for days from the beginning! Love you guys!

JunkloverjennyJarring sometimes religious adsI like this podcast and the compassion the narrators have for the subject but have stopped listening because the ads are terrible, they randomly cut in (some that are for another podcast are just different people taking out of nowhere) there is also a new ad pushing god/christianity, no thank you

LizzeeFreitasYouTube convertI had no idea you guys were here! I’m so excited! I’ve been watching you for a while now and I love you both. Your empathy and attention to the VICTIMS is beautiful to witness. Love the kittt babies too💖✨Also, howdy neighbor, I’m a Mainer!

urstellarWould be 5 stars but….Your episodes are great with a low amount of ads and a lot of stories I’ve never heard before and there are sooo many episodes!! My only problem I have (and it’s one that’s making me think of unsubscribing) is that you guys have changed so much. There used to be a little banter to lighten things up and you two weren’t so politically correct. While I appreciate the reasons why you guys say SA and CA among other acronyms, at the same time it takes away just how deplorable these acts are. To say someone was SA’ed instead of sexually assaulted makes it sound not as bad or this person was just SA’ed. Same with CA, child abuse. So many of your early episodes you would say rape, sexual assault and child abuse among other things that you wouldn’t even think it’s the same hosts. Just be yourself, it’s like you’re being fake now. One episode comes to mind called Mr Hands or something and all you guys talk about is a man shlupping (your word not mine) a horse and taking it anally and corn holed. Not to mention the F bombs you drop. I’m not prude and it doesn’t bother me…but being fake and all of sudden changing your whole personality does. Ugh, that’s the longest review I’ve ever left!

hduejbehwiThe Story of Averylee HobbsTragic and unimaginable life of a beautiful baby girl who fell prey to a broken system and was murdered by the person who should have been her number one protector, her mother. And Child Protective Services continues to be protected from accountability. Thank you for giving voice to the innocent victims. RIP sweet Averylee.

besch2029Great podcast!I just started listening to podcasts and am a true crime junkie! I stumbled on The Misery Machine in Facebook! You are both awesome people and I enjoy the way you tell these real stories! Keep up the great work!! I just started from the beginning of the podcast last week.

Lifted.Chevy.LoverWonderful podcast… Love it!!!! Listening from Alabama…😂😉
-
MisukicoolnessGreat story but..Love you guys and this podcast but cutting off the story out of nowhere with ads (I’ll timed) is super frustrating 🥸
-
Alison with 1 LBinged! Again, again!!Great show! Passionate relatable hosts! All the facts! No overabundance of fluff and nonsense! Could use more cat opinions (best kind of interruptions) 😻 I’ve listened to at least one episode of ever true crime podcast there is and you guys are one of my top 3. Thank you for your hard work and dedication and a great podcast! I wish it was an hour but I know y’all both have lives to live.

the worst artistAmazing channelI used to watch this on YouTube but switched to Podcasts to listen while I can’t watch on YouTube 🫶🫶

Kim SeedsBest True Crime Podcast out thereI absolutely love this podcast. The amount of details and facts presented are unlike any other. I appreciate that they do lesser known cases but they also do a superior job covering some well known cases such as Sylvia Likens and Junko Faruta. Drewby and Yergy tackle some really rough cases and they're very relatable. Some of the content is especially disturbing and is covered in a way that honors the victims in a very special and compassionate way. I'm especially moved when Yergy is vulnerable enough to let us witness the impact of just how disturbing some of these details are. Thank you both for giving us all such amazing content!
-
Tamiamu2Amazing WorkWhich is really all that needs to be said...these two and their dedicated team bring us stories every week about failures in our children's services and parenting failures. For those who think "the fake tears in Yergy's voice " are that well...YOU do the in depth research week after week without having any emotion about it! Seriously?! I'd rather get these stories from caring people rather than the bot on the 6 o'clock news but maybe that's what some should watch. As for me, Yergy, Drewby...love you both and thanks for the time energy and HEART you put into these stories.
-
BandiiBeanTop Notch ReportingAs a True Crime buff, this duo is top tier in reporting the facts and what matters, while paying respect to victims. Professional, respectful, and tell the whole story.
-
Scammed in NYCThe fake tears are distracting and disrespectfulGreat show- or used to be. Yergy’s unrelenting “tearful” voice is distracting and disrespectful to the victims. Your job is to tell us the facts about this story not to telegraph how you feel about any of it. It’s not about you please be more professional.
-
ollmzorbius! :3Absolutely Amazing! This podcast/channel is my favorite to listen to. I listen to this when I draw/work on homework. They really do care for the victims unlike some others I have seen, and I was devastated when my district restricted the videos. When I figured out that there's a podcast, I was so happy! Now I listen daily, and I'm glad that so many of these cases were brought to light. -Ollie Austin :)

TryingtoremainafanQuestionIn your episode about the au pair from Boston you asked for more East coast ideas. Please do the case of Diane drake from Newport RI. It’s so tragic and definitely doesn’t get the attention it really deserves. It’s a small area where murder rarely occurs, especially this type. The family doesn’t want this poor girl to be forgotten (no I don’t know them but that’s what they’ve often said) Such a small town vibe that someone has to know something. Please consider it.
-
kaudhrbdCame from YouTubeHey guys. Love your content, finally decided to start adding you on other platforms for support. Loyal fan- love the caring respect you give to the victims where society lacks the effort.
-
Givens_RobSomewhat misleadingThis podcast reports that it cuts out the rambling and self promotion to focus on the subject matter. After choosing an episode randomly, I am now 6:00 minutes in and have gotten nothing but rambling and boring banter. I’m sure it’s a fine podcast, but don’t advertise yourself as no nonsense when you’re anything but.
-
jstrellSound effects?Very distracting noises takes away from a great podcast
-
itsamemommioWell, you’ve done it…You’ve finally done an episode that was so graphic, I had to turn it off and take a break (Maria Namath). So…we’ll done, I guess? 😂😬
-
Maine SageMissing you!I love your podcast and look forward to every episode! Where are you?

Lala9981GreatGreat true crime podcast. The hosts are awesome!

WynterbreezeLove their YouTube channelSo happy I found their podcast! Their YouTube channel is absolutely amazing with the amount of research they do definitely looking forward to seeing/ listening more 💙💙
-
NullityI triedI really tried to like this podcast, but when they spend the first 15 minutes or possibly more, I couldn’t stand to see if this lasted any longer, talking about Harry Potter. I knew this wasn’t a podcast for me. Most people who listen to True Crime are adults. Adults don’t read children’s books and watch children’s movies. Also, in the podcast description, it makes fun of people who do podcasts while putting on their make up. There are many successful Podcasters, who do this, and they’re in the top 100 whereas you are not.

NikkiBall42True Crime FavoriteThanks so much guys for all the research and attention to detail when you shared these true crimes. You are both so talented and I really enjoy your videos and podcasts. ❤️
-
DudeimsleepinYou Two Rock ❤️❤️Aaaaaand I just found out you’re from Maine 😍 You guys cover some CRAZY tough cases, you have so much tact and respect for victims. Thank you for all you do- Meaghan outta The Dirty Lew

JayzeerocksCan’t get enoughabsolutely love these two together telling stories. can’t stop listening. the youtube is amazing as well !!
-
shay2128Insensitive A**holesI just started this podcast at the earliest episode available (Axlar Bjorn episodes) and it starts off with the two host shaming parents of stillborns for taking pictures of their children. Total lack of empathy and an absolutely gross display of human behavior. Will not be listening any further.
-
SavageplumLove it!Really great podcast, I prefer watching on YouTube but I wanted to pop over here to leave a review. It’s a good show, you should check it out.
-
SniffanyBJust found this podcast….So far I’ve loved how they tell the stories. It’s very different from other podcasts which I also listen to. So give it them a listen you might like them also.

TL2583True Crime at its Finest!!!I just found this on YouTube and now as a podcast! Happy Day!!! It’s a no holds barred genuine portrayal of what actually happened. They are truly invested, you can hear and feel their raw emotion. If you enjoy True Crime, you will not be disappointed.
-
SherrellervingPodcastI didn’t know there was a podcast!!! Now I can sneak and binge listen at work instead of having to pull out my phone to go back to the channel because YouTube decides to throw in a random video. You guys are awesome I love to listen and I love the name Prada for the cat I thought I was nuts naming my dog Louis Vuitton! Great minds think alike!
-
Kandyst4rOne of the bestOne of my favorite shows. I love how they bring attention to cases involving children. Also they are some of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. Every video is done in a respectful way unlike a lot of other channels who try to be funny or act like they aren’t talking about real stories. - Beeper

yrwelcomepplLonger podcasts/ more researchI like your podcast a lot! But I think the victims deserve more than a 15-30 minute overlook of what happened to them. Their stories should be told in depth. Who they were, who they wanted to be, what their life was life, go into the killers too, not to give them credit. But maybe to give better insight as to how they ended up committing such a horrific crime. I know some are hard to do, but they deserve to have their story told to the fullest extent. I think your podcast is great! I just think they should be longer! :) keep up the good work! You guys are great!

Janm5459Great show!I mostly watch the misery machine on YouTube- and I love it- prior to finding this I only watched Strange and scary mysteries/ twisted news and no other podcast could ever compare to it- until I found the misery machine- which is now my other favorite channel- I love these two with their interesting topics-they don’t do the same old true crime content- simply repeated info from 60 Minute episodes this is the first time I found a show that has new content that I’ve never heard of- I only watch ID Discovery on tv so it’s hard to find content I’m not familiar with- but the misery machine continues to do so! I also love that they talk a lot about New England - I grew up in Boston & live in New Hampshire on the mass border so I thoroughly enjoy listening to these two intelligent, thoughtful, charismatic local hosts! Keep up the great work I recommend you to everyone I know who enjoys true crime and will continue to do so!
-
ksiegrist04AmazingAmazing coverage of lesser known cases. My go to for the work day!
-

UghxoThank you!!Definitely recommend everyone listen to the child murder cases - they need so much attention and rarely get it… thank you!
-
MurderSquaredPodcast✍️🏻Nice quick and interesting stories.
-
SunshineJillMEAwesome pod!I recently started listening and have been binging my way through! Love listening! Jill in Rangeley.
-
ThemysciranDianaMy favorite PodcastSo well researched, easy to listen to and they have great variety. I love how respectful they are to victims wanting to ensure their story is heard, justice is reached if it hasn’t been as of the time of the recordings, and that they are not forgotten.
-
AdriaStanekMy favorite podcast!I love these two so much! They both are easy to listen to and have great chemistry. Topics like these are sensitive and can be hard to discuss. The hosts are very respectful to the tones of the cases they investigate and are delicate while still giving insights and observations. Give them a shot! You might like it!
-
cpr is so eroticBig meh.Neither has a listenable voice. Male host is particularly grating / over caffeinated. This entire podcast is evidence if you can get on Wikipedia and recite what it written, you too can have a true crime podcast. No depth. No personality. The podcast equivalent of getting your daily news from the weather forecast. Also, don’t inform them that they are plagiarizing on their YouTube channel comments because they’ll get extremely hostile.
-
ElizaSandersGreat find!I don’t know what these folx are doing on YouTube but I found this podcast recently and am so glad I did! Super informative, well- researched, empathetic and straight forward. Not a lot of unnecessary banter which can really ruin a great podcast. Recommend!!!
-
Betsy555Appreciate your dedication to advocating to the innocentThank you for bringing so much attention to the most horrific crimes of the way-too-common systematic abuses and murders of children
-
StromileQ - NickAmazing Podcast!Yergy and Drewby are AWESOME! They are hilarious when they can be but absolutely respectful of victims and people in general. They are the most passionate and compassionate podcast of any true crime podcast I have heard, and they are so much more than just true crime! I love how they are brutally honest and bring forward the stories and cases that need to be talked about.
-
maybomb2577Great content!Found This on YouTube and immediately looked for it on Apple podcast and I’m so glad I did.
