    Such Research, Many Care, Wow
(I can finally review this without my username spoiling Kal!) I love this show and the amount of time, effort, and research that clearly goes into it. Despite being obsessed with Japan in my teens, I’ve learned so much from this podcast—I truly didn’t know what I didn’t know. I also appreciate the episode recap section because I’m visually impaired and often miss the details like food, clothing, facial expressions, etc., and there is no audio description for blind and visually impaired audiences on any platform I’ve checked. I also have to watch the English dub, so it’s fun to hear the translation differences. I’m looking forward to your takes on the finale episodes of this series, plus whatever the future holds!

    Very Entertaining!
As a long-time Sailor Moon fan, I am really enjoying hearing a noobie experiencing this amazing series for the first time. Some Japanese terms and character names (like Ami) are not pronounced correctly, but that’s a minor detail. The point is to have fun, and that the Moonlight is the Messenger of Love. Make-UP! ❤️

    Straight Dopamine
    1. Hosts seem to like hanging out and don’t undercut each other. 2. Respectful discussion of the show without sugarcoating some of its more sticky moments 3. Cultural context instead of just a recap. I have been absolutely DEVOURING this show for the last month. I’m only on ep. 87 but am quickly catching up. I usually listen on Spotify, but came to Apple Podcasts to leave a review.

I’m watching along with them, and it’s great!
As a newcomer to Sailor Moon, it’s fun to watch an episode and then listen to this podcast. Their fun conversations and insights really add to my Watch experience. From one Sailor Noob to another, keep up the good work!

    Issa Noob Review
I absolutely love the podcast. I do a lot of driving for work, and I just started watching Sailor Moon within the last few months. I live for podcasts that go over shows I’ve seen, that way I can visually see the content in my mind that they’re talking about. I knew this show would be exactly what I would love. Keeps me going on my long drives, makes me laugh with the banter, and I love listening to this duo talk about life, anime, and all our favorite shows. Thank you so much for everything y’all do!

    Longtime Listener, Finally Rating
I LOVE this podcast. I started listening because I was nostalgic for the show, but stayed for the “Curiously Looking Around” and the intersection of conversations around several shared interests. Kal and Mika have a great dynamic, and I love listening to them. Plus, the Discord community is very active and friendly, which has been lovely for me as a mom that needs other adults to talk to. 5/5 thrown roses.

A good show about watching Sailor Moon
I watched a bit of Sailor Moon on Toonami, way back when, but have since rediscovered it (via the new English dub) during the eternal pandemic. I also tried out a few other Sailor Moon podcasts, but have become a dedicated Sailor Noob listener for the following reasons: —It is still a going concern and seems likely to complete its run through the series. —The premise prevents most spoilers (I’ve not finished watching the series yet). —The hosts are fun, engaging, and funny! They have a great and obviously long-running rapport. They’re also around my age, and it’s nice to know other adults watch these cartoons. —The recaps, commentary, and comparisons to other media are interesting. The discussion can wander a bit, but enjoyably so. —The exploration of an element of Japanese culture is a great segment that obviously has a lot of effort behind it. We’re enjoying; we’re learning; we’re having a good podcast time! If you want an “episodic recap plus interesting related info” podcast about Sailor Moon, look no further.

    Informative and entertaining; re-watching along!
I have been a Sailor Moon fan since it first aired in Brazil. I never had the experience of watching the show as it originally aired in the US, but Sailor Noob really does bring back memories of watching the show for the first time. The Podcast is funny, informative, and adds a lot to my experience of rewatching the entire show from beginning to end. Furthermore, as a visually impaired individual who lost his vision after experiencing the show visually on Brazilian TV I find the way the episodes are described/summarized invoke amazing images and memories. In addition, the Patreon is a great supplement! By far the best Sailor Moon Podcast I have found. Always five out of five red Roses!

    <3 it!
Probably the funniest podcast i've ever listened to!

    My favorite show
I was a late addition to the sailor moon fandom I got into a year before the pandemic. Most of the fandom content for it is very gushing and while sailor moon is one of my favorite shows it’s really nice to have analysis content.

    Entertaining and informative
This podcast is a great listen and also educational. I’m fascinated by other cultures and I appreciate the mixture of anime talk and cultural exchange. Keep up the great work!

One of the funnest listens, even if your not a huge fan
Love the chemisty of this podcast, found it while looking for ideas for my own podcast, and found that some one had already done it, and most liekly better then me. And really anyone else out there.

Not the only game in town (but the best!!)
I can't recommend this podcast enough! I only got into Sailor Moon over the pandemic (all five seasons and three silly but beautiful movies) and searched thru every related podcast I can find. This is the only one I've listened to religiously. I am now rewatching along with pod. The hosts have great banter and very good takes on the characters and storytelling. I especially love all the pop culture references and have truly learned a lot about Japanese culture that I was clueless about before. Really well done, can't wait to keep listening.

    A fun and informative podcast!
I look forward to this podcast every week. Sailor moon was my favorite childhood show and still is one of my favorites to this day. Even if you are a fellow super fan with Mikanhana, you will learn something new, whether about the show or Japanese culture within the show. Ka1iban always makes the recaps so entertaining and they have such great banter that I’m laughing along the whole time. The two hosts challenge each others ideas in a friendly fashion and give you new ideas to think about and view the show more critically yourself. Whether it’s for nostalgia of one of the greatest animes made or if you are getting into it for the first time, this podcast is perfect to listen to and follow along with. There truly is something entertaining and informational for everyone.

    So good!
As a longtime Sailor Moon fan, this style of reviewing is one of the best I’ve come across! Mikanhan, the Moonie, provides all the information you could want to know about each episode, from the differences between the subs and dubs, to providing cultural tidbits about Japan that tie to the plot points, and so much more. Meanwhile, the noob, Kaliban provides his hilarious reactions to the various plot holes and randomness that is Sailor Moon. I look forward to this podcast every Friday and hope they will continue this for the full 200 episodes, keep up the good work!

    An excellent show
This is a great show for fans of sailor moon, people interested in Japan, or newbies to both. The hosts have a great banter, the episodes aren’t overly long, and each episode gives a thorough dive of the episode. 5\5 Roses
