    Makes you think for yourself
    Love this podcast! Robb and Nikki are always well-researched and insightful. I am so grateful for their honest takes on everything from agriculture to raising kids. And always with an emphasis on the individual, acknowledging that we’re not all the same! The focus on holistic health has encouraged me to do my own research on how our food and medicine is produced. It all matters! We have a voice when it comes to our health but I wouldn’t have been prepared to use it if not for Robb and Nikki helping me along the way.

    Unsubscribed today after a decade
    The new focus on predicting catastrophic outcomes if Trump doesn't win the 2024 election feels like an overreach to me. This narrow political perspective makes me question the hosts' ability to provide well-rounded health recommendations, which is supposed to be the main topic of the show.

    Slipping even deeper into the conspiracy rabbit hole, Robb and Nikki have now endorsed Trump and his new buddy RFK Jr. based on some farfetched idea that they will somehow protect them against the evil government. They believe the government and deep state is out to get them but maybe don’t realize that their listener base is dropping because of their extreme views on everything from public education to economic policies. Neither have any education or background to support their views. They fail to see that living in a right wing enclave in Montana reinforces their ideas by confirmation bias. Sad to see - they should have stuck to health - but based on the self-described continuing decline of Robb’s own health, maybe that is not even in their wheelhouse any longer. One of the original 6 listeners signing off now. It was a good run for a few years.

    Robb has been at the forefront of paradigm shifts in health and fitness for decades, and his intelligent balanced perspectives have laid the foundations for most others in the space. Would love him to dig into Qortal so he can provide his disciples with insight into true decentralization, and I hope he continues to upend the educational system in his spare time.

    Real Health advice that you can apply to life
    Robb and Nicki respond to all of their questions and are so incredibly helpful to give resource recs and lots of real-world advice. They helped me through gestational diabetes and gave great advice for kids and food. Always excited to hear the news topics and how world events and published studies might be important to my family. Also, you should grab some LMNT or you’ll be salty in the worst way.

    Robb has bought into woo
    Robb used to pay attention to data. But now he is some kind of anti vaxxer. He made the suggestion that mRNA vaccines cause cancer when there’s zero data anywhere for that and no known method by which that could happen. Just baseless anecdotes. Sorry Robb, you were good for many years but have now lost it. 5 stars > 1 star. Sorry, I really wish you were still a good source of information.

    I love that they don’t think they have all the answers or that they have a one size fits all solution. Nutrition should be more tailored to the individual when possible. I’m a huge admirer of Rob and what he has done.

    Humble Knowledge/Life changing
    Robb and Nicki, I have read both your books and have been listening to your podcasts for years. I was a bumbling 350 lbs about 12 years ago and just turned 50. I am now down to 200 lbs. Like many others out there I fell for the standard american diet for the majority of my life. It wasn't until I read your book (recommended to me by a friend) that I realized how important diet was to our overall health. I still have a few pounds to lose, but I mainly follow the palio diet. I have always been impressed with your wanting to help people and digging into the knowledge that is out there on the interwebs. You have truly saved my life and I am truly thankful for the wisdom you both are willing to share.

    I have really enjoyed Robb over the years and have learned a ton, but the fear and dread especially around covid and vaccines is killing it for me. It is troubling the way you interpret the mRNA study done in test tubes to mean anything. It may, but about 1% of en vitro translates to the human body, this should be explained along with the potential harm. Bleach for example, kills Covid but should not be injected, no matter who recommended it! Hope you get back on your game, and stop leaning into the Covid fear cash. I’ll check back in later, peace ✌️

    Used to be a great show when they actually talked about health and nutrition. Now it has just become a platform for fear mongering about vaccines and pretending there’s a vast conspiracy to control us all. Guess they discovered keeping people outraged and afraid generated bigger numbers. Unfortunate.

    This guy Robb has been down more rabbit holes for us than Alice. He’s cutting edge and old school common sense both at the same time. Follow Robb and his charming wife Nicki as they patiently answer the same questions Over and over and over again. No. Really. They are the best thing that’s happened to health radio since George and Gracie. I’m all in. 3-18-22 Appreciate you guys going out on the limb in this episode. Biological and economic insights are sometimes if not always difficult for the population to digest. Thanks loads for your courage.

    Agree but disagree with the “salty” language
    Listened to Still no Mention of Health and agree for the most part, very good points and felt from the beginning of COVID lockdown that it was a test to see if the govt could control the population. Yes, there was no mention of how we can boost or keep our immune up to fight this. Very early on, the media talked about Vit D, and it it abruptly stopped. I enjoyed and learned some from your podcast but feel the “salty” language is not necessary. Good content though.

    Edit 2/4/22. Just FYI. I still listen every week. I am a regular listener and have been a follower of Robb since I read the Paleo Solution somewhere in 2011ish, can't remember exactly. I roll off and on podcasts but I love coming back and catching up. Then I don't have to wait for Thursdays. I love the wide range of subjects they touch and their general outlook on life. It is fun to listen to people that think the way you do but are so much better at expressing their opinions, veiwpoints, and factual knowledge they have. None of that comes easy to me. They collaborate with awesome people (Diana Rodgers is one!) and the information they put out is legit! Salty talks are awesome too. Even if you don't follow the same dietary recommendaitons, lifestyle, political leanings, it is great to listen to for a oppositive POV. And they are just fun!! But I just heard they are leaving Texas so I take it all back (just kidding, kinda, crying a little).

    Great info to inform your diet choices. I personally fast forward through all the Covid talk. Not that I disagree with any of it, but it just feels super redundant week after week.

    Robb and Nikki, thank you so much for being rays of hope and logic in these wild times. You two crazy kids tackle important subjects with a refreshing blend of science and common sense, which at one time had a fairly good relationship but have sadly grown apart, at least in the mainstream. I have two podcasts thallt I look forward to and listen to religiously every week: yours’ and The Dark Horse podcast by Bret Weinstein and Heather Heying, which, if my opinion counts for anything, puts you in good company. Thanks for all that you do, for continuing to speak truth in a time of murky lies, for showing up with no agenda but this truth at a time when our public agencies invent fiction to make “reality” fit their narrative. Happy 2022!!!

    Long time listener Rob and Nikki! Thank you for speaking your truth and putting yourselves out there. The content is always well informed and balanced with an air of humility that I appreciate. I feel we are kindred spirits in many ways so thanks for giving my thoughts a public voice. I often look for small litmus tests to gauge conditions. And when a the writing of a simple podcast review conjures thoughts of backlash from other angry readers, I think that sums up our current condition well. But as you often say in the Salty talks…F&*! IT. Pondering humanity and in general our species propensity for violence and destruction I often think we are doomed, then I look at my daughter and say… I must go on! If only to know I did what I could to right the ship for her. So dig your heals in and lift up your chins. You bring more to this world than you take from it. Be proud of your accomplishments and if needed retreat to the safety of you bubble to to recharge and and come back out swinging. Either way I’m one of those four listeners that can’t be wrong. Great job, energy back and thank you for keeping it real. keep it up!!

    I used to love this podcast and found it very informational in my health journey. However over the past 18 months, it has turned into a huge conspiracy theory spreader around COVID. Rob has a huge platform and could help a lot of people make informed decisions, so it’s truly a shame he continues to buck the science and is now quoting “research” from the far right fringe and Parlor. Incredibly disappointing and no longer a valuable podcast. I’d recommend spending your time elsewhere for alternative health paths and nutrition.

I’m a normie, and I don’t have any health issues, but listening to some of these questions sure make me feel grateful. I really enjoy the intros, especially when Robb starts getting a bit riled up on the topic. I genuinely feel as though these two have done their due diligence in researching topics before speaking on a topic, so I just trust what they say. Also thank you guys for putting me on to the Dark Horse podcast.

    These two are the best!! I read paleo solution a few years ago and it was one of the most informative and funniest books I’ve ever read. I’ve been a believer ever since. This show is a favorite of mine and the advice is so valuable.

    Most honest podcast out there
    Sure, I know it is a health and wellness podcast, but it is refreshing to listen to completely honest content. In this day and age when people have to skirt around issues, the only agenda I see here is to provide listeners with accurate and useful information. I love the organic interactions between Robb and Nicki. My only complaint with the whole podcast is that I feel like I should be able to buy Robb and Nicki a beer. Keep producing great content.

    I listen to a number of podcasts and I love The Healthy Rebellion the most. I have followed Robb since the beginning of time so I have a huge amount of respect for him. Add his wife into the mix and she balances him out and makes you laugh! I have learned so much from this podcast and it is practical information that you can utilize in real life.     One of My Commute Go To’s
    Love your show and all the quality information you put out, often disproving current so called scientific research. You’ve been a great augment to all of the nutrition books I’ve read over the years like “Deep Nutrition” and others. My wife, who is always finding issue with how I eat pushed the below article at me today. Please, for the love of god, poke holes in this biased incorrect article based on “real science”. The article is from a publication called VegNews, written by Nicole Axworthy and titled “The Long-Term Consequences of a Keto Diet: Heart Disease, Diabetes, and Cancer, New Study Finds”. They even go so far as to say it causes gestational diabetes in pregnant women. Oh Vegans, face palm.

    I was a hated at potcasting in my mind were just folks that wanted to take advantage of people ignorance but a friend steered me to my very first pot cast it was back Paleo Solution. I went from hating to loving your pot cast. The information provided was transformational for me . I am an avid triathlete, love sports out doors but I had suffer from leaky gut and wasn’t even aware of it for many years . It was thanks to you that I stop running for the portable;) on every race or event ! Just to mention one of the many thing that took a turn for the better in my life ! Thank you so much , Love the pot cast , I have purchase e your books oh and can’t say enough about element drink! Keep on . Regular people like me need your pot cast and the information you share is very valuable!!!

    Interesting nutrition discussions. Unfortunately, interwoven with COVID conspiracy theory. As a physician struggling daily with the consequences of the vaccine/mask resistant portion of society, it is especially disheartening to hear a seemingly very intelligent health guru, who so many look to for science-based information, continually sow doubt in life-saving COVID mitigation strategies. Of course this is a complex topic. However, you need to ask yourself, has your work moved us closer or further away from an end to the pandemic?

    I can’t say enough about how eye opening and educating this Podcast is! I have learned so much from listening to Robb, his wife and all the amazing information they research and provide. I am 61 and healthier, stronger, weigh less, and more alert and in tune than I was in my 20’s! I love, love, love LMNT and can’t live without it now. I walk my dog a mile each morning as a warm up the speed walk by myself for another 3 miles. I do a little weight lifting just to keep my muscles in check. Thank you for all you do and making it fun to listen to. Keep up the good work! Marjorie

    Everything’s great just please make the audio consistent
    Hey guys all I’d want you to change is to make both mics be the same volume. Robb’s is usually low and Nikki’s is high so I have to adjust my volume every time you guys talk. As much as I like active listening during my drive to school please add a something or other to make the audio levels consistent. 6 listeners can’t be wrong
