melmcd96Amazing podcast for secular homeschoolersThis is exactly what I needed for my secular homeschool! Religion has such an influence on world history, art, and politics, that for a well rounded education I feel my children need to be familiar with these stories and beliefs. However, I’ve struggled on how to present them. We will all learn so much from this podcast! Thank you for your work and doing it in such an engaging and digestible way!

lsl1969I want Robbie to live near meNot only is this a thing I have been looking and hoping for, I could not dream it to be any better than what Robbie has made. When I listened to her talk about why she wanted to make this podcast, I cried with overwhelming feelings of understanding and validation. What I appreciate most is Robbie’s ability to balance irreverence with measured presentation. She is honest about her reactions and thoughts, but never mocks Christians or the system of belief. She really does present the stories the same way I might with myths from any other tradition, but find hard to do when I have so much baggage around the bible stories I was raised believing.

M.DaoExcited!I am SO excited to have stumbled across this awesome podcast! We have been searching for something easy to digest like this since moving to the highly conservative Inland NW. So far I have been pleased to hear that it is not putting down Christianity NOR does it make my kids feel like our family is wrong for not claiming a faith. Now we will be able to learn the stories of the Bible in a way that is comfortable for us non church-going peeps. Thank you so much for creating this!

SerenityLynneLoving this!My kids and I both are really enjoying the way these stories are told. It’s nice for us to be able to listen to something together that’s kind of a middle ground, being that I’m an atheist and don’t go to church but they still go to church with their dad. This way we can have something in common without me being worried about the dangerous themes and indoctrination that usually come with bible stories.
