This is my favorite flyfishing podcast. Jim opens a world full of possibilities to the adventurous angler. Episodes cover the destinations, flyfishing, guides, species, techniques, tackle, clothing, flies, lodging, food, travel, weather, timing, etc. Jim’s passion, knowledge, intelligence and experience shine through. The guests he invites on the podcast are first-rate flyfishers.

I recently discovered this podcast and am hooked. Jim does such a great job of interviewing a variety of guests. Listening is like going into a different world for each episode and experiencing it with the folks on the episode. I can’t wait for more episodes!!

I think these are a hot too much of a sales pitch. They are just slightly skewed this way though, I still subscribe, like listening to them, and recommend them. If they could get the balance more on the how-to side it could be one of the best podcasts on fishing.

I listen to these walking to class and in between classes every time a new one comes out. Only wish there were more episodes!

These are high quality and well done — I have booked numerous trips through YD and enjoy these episodes very much.

There are not a lot of good flyfishing podcast out there, but this is definitely one of them! A lot of great information and some good stories too.

Great variety of guests covering all aspects of fly-fishing travel and adventure. Perfect podcast to get educated and inspired.
