dennis.karpfDennis KarpfThe best summary of the Syrian War to date and understanding how Iran poses greatest, short term serious threat to regional and world stability and human rights worse even than the greater long term geopolitical threat of China. Only criticism is that the interviewer’s voice is too soft.

Avid Listenerx2Good Content, Stop ReadingThe podcast content is excellent. However, the clear script reading impairs listenability. If it were more conversational and less robotic, it would consistently be at the top of my list.

bbbvvvfffgggttteeeHigh rising intonation (HRI) is annoyingHigh rising intonation has got to be the most annoying thing about speech these days. On par with filling every pause with an “um.” For me, it instantly undermines the credibility of the person speaking when they end every statement as if it’s a question. In the future, please reassure your experts that they will not be interrupted when they are speaking, and need not constantly use this annoying “uptalk.”

FreidaSGreat information for those interested in military/ foreign affairsISW goes beyond the news headlines to give listeners analysis and commentary on issues related to U.S. national security and American foreign policy. A great complement to the ISW email publications that I can listen to on the way to the office and back home! Looking forward to the future content.
