A great way to understand the war in Ukraine 🇺🇦

The best summary of the Syrian War to date and understanding how Iran poses greatest, short term serious threat to regional and world stability and human rights worse even than the greater long term geopolitical threat of China. Only criticism is that the interviewer’s voice is too soft.

    Extremely informative and insightful
Always an entertaining and informative listen for my morning commute. Would recommend whether you are in a related industry or not!

    Good Content, Stop Reading
The podcast content is excellent. However, the clear script reading impairs listenability. If it were more conversational and less robotic, it would consistently be at the top of my list.

    Great Foreign Policy Podcast
Very informative. Jennifer Cafarella and her team of analysts give you an in depth look at what’s happening in key conflict areas in short, very digestible segments!

    Extremely informative
Jennifer delivers a thorough and nuanced synopsis of the current threat/capabilities of ISIS and what the response has been and should be. This podcast was a great way to get a LOT of info on a complicated subject quickly and explained in a clear way. Well done! Looking forward to more podcasts!

High rising intonation (HRI) is annoying
High rising intonation has got to be the most annoying thing about speech these days. On par with filling every pause with an “um.” For me, it instantly undermines the credibility of the person speaking when they end every statement as if it’s a question. In the future, please reassure your experts that they will not be interrupted when they are speaking, and need not constantly use this annoying “uptalk.”

Great information for those interested in military/ foreign affairs
ISW goes beyond the news headlines to give listeners analysis and commentary on issues related to U.S. national security and American foreign policy. A great complement to the ISW email publications that I can listen to on the way to the office and back home! Looking forward to the future content.
