    Highlight of my day!
I love listening to these ladies talk through important topics, with a biblical foundation. Their discernment has been a huge blessing to me!

    Love, Love, Love this podcast!

    Grateful
It has become very difficult to find Biblically accurate women to listen to and learn from. Biblical older women to learn from are rare, even endangered species. I’m pretty sure you ladies are not older than me in years, but you are in the faith bc I have only come to know Scripture and the true Christ in the past 6 years. My previous church was a mega church that was very progressive teaching false doctrine time for decades. I am very grateful for your show. It is encouraging as I seek to remain Biblical and not bend to progressive thought. Thank you.

    Exposing Deception
Dave Jenkins talks way to much without saying anything. Hr talks about the people, they, those people. Every time I’ve heard this guy he talks and talks and Talks….. Count on the transcript how many times he states claims without substance. The word of God is 100% truth and has no errors. God has called His own to Himself and unfortunately there are many lost souls in religious groups. But listening to you two, I feel sad because you don’t talk about how to pray for these people. We have the Holy Spirit that protect us and God uses all of His children to witness of Him. I get so sick of your programs always talking negative about others. It would be nice to hear a wonderful biblical message rather than deception or legalistic ideology of what Amy and Michelle think is right and wrong for Christians. I appreciate you biblical knowledge but it’s used in such a negative way on almost every podcast. The introductory music also sounds like stripper music. Maybe that needs to be updated too.

    Thought provoking
Enjoy the conversation very much but please - update your music. It is inconsistent with your content and annoyingly unpleasant. 🙃

    Check out Lifewise!
I was listening to your podcast that was talking about Good News Clubs. There is a new organization Lifewise that has Bible education during school hours.

    Highly Recommend
Grateful for the truth that is shared on this podcast. The topics covered are helpful for any woman wanting to grow in discernment and biblical understanding of the cultural issues inside and outside the church.

    Just what women need
This show is full of excellent teaching and guidance for Christian women. In a culture that is catapulting towards a shallow view of God and true Biblical standards, Michelle and Amy guide us back to the narrow path with grace and truth. Women today are being inundated by pretty study Bibles with quotes and flowers on them. Quotes and flowers are great but a woman’s relationship with her Savior is much deeper than that. I truly appreciate how Michelle and Amy go beyond the pretty covers and get in to what the Lord says. Keep it up ladies!!
  • Pastor Dave’s wife
From a pastor’s wife in need of training
Thank you for your podcast! When our pastor suddenly left in 2020, my husband filled the pulpit along with other elders. He enrolled in an online theology-related master’s degree from TMU to help with his sermons. Little did we know then that God was preparing him for His call to preach. In February 2024 he was installed at our church which made me a pastor’s wife. There is so much I need to learn so that I can be a good help to him. Thank you, sisters and podcast friends for your instruction and encouragement!

What a great introduction to discovering this podcast!
I was introduced to this podcast- A Word Fitly Spoken when I listened to “Aging With Grace…Part 1”. It was so informative and refreshing as the ladies discussed an oft neglected topic. Such a blessing. I also shared it with an older woman who I’m counselling. I look forward to listening to the other/older episodes 😆

Recently found this show and love getting a regular dose of theologically sound wisdom! Thank you, Michelle and Amy!

    Great Content
My daughter shared this podcast with me and I have been listening ever since. It’s like having coffee with wise women counselors. I look forward to each new episode!

    Wisdom and Encouragement
I discovered this podcast several months ago and have been binge-listening ever since! These ladies have so much wisdom and share it in an encouraging way. They aren’t just giving their opinions, but back up everything with Scripture. After listening to them, I can articulate various doctrines and beliefs much better, and know where to go in Scripture to learn more. Thank you for boldly and lovingly speaking the truth!

    Thank you!
I’m newer to reformed teaching, and initially when I started listening to AWFS I was offended sometimes. I have come to love this podcast and realize that much of my offense was rooted in wrong teachings that I believed. This podcast is so edifying. If you’re offended- seek the word of God and pray. You might find yourself like me, coming back to this podcast and realizing that you were actually wrong. As a mother who grew up motherless, this is such an encouraging podcast.

    So thankful!
God has saved me out of New Age and then NAR beliefs— I am so thankful for this podcast that has helped to bring clarify to the Word and what it means to be a woman after God’s heart. I have learned a lot and greatly look forward to each episode. Hope to meet you both in person someday to share my appreciation!

    Wonderful Biblical & Encouraging Teaching
I have always liked listening to various Bible teachers. I love this podcast and how these ladies fearlessly proclaim Truth. Their love for Christ and other ladies come out in their teaching as they encourage other women to grow deeper in their walk with Christ. They are not afraid to warn others of false teachers and teachings. They also talk about various foundational Christian disciplines in a way that is simple to understand but challenging to do. I especially found this to be the case with their episode on “Holy Habits for the New Year—Evangelism with Rich Story”. Thank you, ladies, for speaking truth in love and for proclaiming fitly spoken words. Keep up the good work!

    From offended to appreciative
My husband and I were saved out of very popular NAR churches and teachers over a year ago. That’s all I knew from my childhood. When I got saved and started reading the word I came across Michelle’s website and podcast and ,much to my surprise, I was offended by much of what she shared(especially about women's roles.) It drove me even deeper into my Bible and through much prayer and reading I quickly found that it was me that was holding unbiblical views of women and their roles. I have grown so much in my biblical knowledge and life appreciation from Michelle and Amy- I’m so glad my offence has been turned into love and appreciation for my sisters in Christ. Thank you for your dedication, I pray for your strength and boldness to continue. Savanna

    Thankful for your ministry
I discovered your ministry about a year ago and it has helped me so much. I enjoy listening to this podcast as I work. Thank you for encouraging me to be more discerning in who I listen to and to study the Bible for myself and let the word be sufficient to teach without someone else’s book guiding me to what they think is true.

    A wonderful ministry!
I’m grateful to have found this podcast. Amy and Michelle are so pleasant to listen to, and to hear such soundness and discernment is such a blessing for my growth in Christ.
  • Tomtom85tom
    Wonderful
I have learned so much from these ladies. They are solid and they always give biblical reasoning for their beliefs. I would recommend this show to any Christian. I believe it will encourage you and help you grow in your walk with the Lord.

    Saddened by the criticism
I used to listen to this podcast and saw myself over time becoming INCREASINGLY critical. I understand that both ladies think they are helping, but honestly, so much of this is hurtful in the Christian circle. I have been a recipient of such criticism and it’s downright difficult to get over. I want to live a life that Christ would be pleased . To walk in truth. I fully understand the gospel and hold firm to Gods word. I think this podcast is the perfect example of intellectual knowledge devoid of love . Very sad . Stop picking teachers apart and making excuses for yourselves
  • MariaRia77
    Spiritually wise and discerning!
I have been listening to A Word Fitly Spoken for a while now (and went back and listened to early episodes too!) and I cannot begin to explain how THANKFUL I am for women like Amy and Michelle. They dive deep into the Word of God and do not deviate from scripture - even on the hard topics. I appreciate the direct and kind approach to the myriad of issues and topics they discuss. I am left pondering and reading more of the Bible afterward, and sometimes rebuked 😅 (and then encouraged!) If you are a woman looking for sound Biblical teaching, this podcast is one of the best. Thank you Michelle and Amy!

    Informative… another must listen
Reading the Bible daily helps me to love, trust, & obey our Holy Father. Read the Bible folks, you’ll know that Amy & Michelle are backing up what they say about these false preachers. The PEW(2/8/23) is very informative. It’s so sad to see “Christians” picking and choosing from Gods word to fit their narrative. I’m appreciative that Amy & Michelle are using their biblical knowledge to help us discern God’s truth.

    Love Amy and Michele
Thank you for the episode regarding pro-life vs. abolition. As someone who worked in the established pro-life community for many years, I appreciate and strongly support the abolition movement. I could never understand why those who said they were pl did not. Jobs were in the line.

    Thank you
Thank you for your faithfulness. I just came across this podcast and it has been so encouraging so far. I love how you support your convictions with scripture.

    Encouraging & Edifying
Wonderful podcast with biblical advice for women. You’ll leave feeling convicted and edified in Christ from these biblically literate sisters in Christ.
  • Drewsworth
    Laughably Hypocritical
I’ve listened to a couple episodes so far (too many if you ask me) and it is so ridiculously hypocritical and negative I don’t know how they can’t see it. This show appears to be two entitled women who have a rough understanding of scripture gossiping and telling people how to interpret things and live their lives. They love bashing other faiths and even people within their own faith, claiming nothing but the literal Bible is what Christians should heed for how to live their lives. If that were the case why does this podcast exist? They also clearly have very negative views of women and people with disabilities. I thank God Jesus loves women and minorities more than these two women would have you believe.

Bereans encouraging other women to be Beareans
I look forward to each episode and have been challenged and encouraged by all of the content they have put out. Amy and Michelle are discerning, love God and His church and desire us to live holy lives as we seek to honor God and obey Him. I recommend these ladies to every woman in my life. Also, love their intro music lol

True to the Word. No fluff.
It’s hard to find solid Bible teachers. Especially women. I’m grateful to have found this podcast!

    Such A Blessing
I am very thankful for these two ladies who share God’s wisdom with us through this podcast. In this day and age when people are rejecting God’s Word and seeking ways to justify their sin, Michelle and Amy point us back to God’s Word and how to live in a way that brings honor to God. What a blessing this is to me!
  • Djaaaac
    Biblically sound podcast!
I just found you recently and am enjoying catching up on older podcasts! So much information to process and research for myself. Thank you for this wonderful tool!

    Avoid!
I loved this podcast and supported them financially…until I observed Ms. Lesley’s interactions with other believers on social media. She can be thin skinned and quick to take offense, and acts in a way that is the complete opposite of how she admonishes other Christian women to behave. In short, a Christian “mean girl” with a podcast, is still a mean girl.
  • YanuriS
    Thank you!
I just found your podcast and can’t stop listening. I am not a new Christian and am learning new things through your podcast and the topics being discussed. I was a follower of Beth Moore and the popular teachers up until recently and the last few months have been learning or relearning things that I was taught to believe that are incorrect. Your podcast has helped me with a lot of the questions I had and I love that you support everything with scripture and when I go back and study it and review commentaries your interpretation has always been correct. Thank you for sharing the truth about Gods word and never compromising. Thank you for sharing sound doctrine. :)

    Refreshing truth
Thank you for your ministry and podcast! I’ve been saved by the Grace of God this past year. I was a Roman Catholic and through several podcasts including yours when I heard the truth I just knew. You know when you hear the truth. I had no idea I was in a false religion and an unbiblical religion. I now realize why I felt like I did all those years in the Catholic faith. Lost and on a hamster wheel of works. Thank you for all you!!🙏 Soli deo Gloria!

    Grateful for Word Fitly Spoken
I don’t know how to thank you enough for your biblical stance and convictions. They have been so refreshing and very helpful to my family and I. We came out of the New Apostolic Reformation movement in 2019 and have been on a journey to know Gods Truth through His Word. This podcast has been a big part of that journey! Thank you for all you are doing, you are making a difference!!

    BEST WOMEN’S PODCAST EVER!
This podcast is wonderful. There are few biblically sound women podcasters out there but Michelle and Amy are true blue. I appreciate the fact that they get right down to business and don’t have all the chatter or the “fluff”. I live approximately 1-1/2 hours from the nearest city and when I have to go into town this is the podcast I listen to on the way there and back. I almost hate to get to my driveway because it’s an abrupt interruption and it’s so good I just never want to stop! If I could give a higher rating than 5 stars I would. And I’m a tough customer : I thank God for you ladies. Keep up the good work, run the race and walk worthy! Love you!

    Biblically Solid Podcast for Ladies!
This podcast is like a breath of fresh air after weeding through the countless “Christian” podcasts/books/devotionals for women that are so lacking in accurate Biblical teaching and sound doctrine. These lovely ladies speak the truth, and encourage us to do the same and to be pursuing righteousness daily. They also do a wonderful job of keeping the show’s pace and atmosphere engaging and entertaining - a huge bonus when often tackling difficult topics. So thankful for these ladies and praying for their ministry!

    Biblically Sound
I am so blessed by both Michelle and Amy through this podcast. Both women are extremely biblically literate and articulate the truth of scripture eloquently. I appreciate both their like-mindedness and their ability to have different opinions on non-biblical issues (i.e. the Covid vaccine) yet still honor and respect on another. As I finish each podcast, I eagerly await the next! Thank you, Michelle and Amy, and may our great God richly bless you for your faithfulness.

    Thankful for Biblical Wisdom
Thank you for offering women a safe, doctrinally sound place to go to. So many of the topics you address hit head on with issues that have seeped into our churches silently. Your podcasts and social media have stepped on my toes several times, but that’s a good thing when it aligns with Scripture. You have also helped me articulate what I have been trying to put into words. Thank you Ladies.
  • RaisingGodsGirls
    Best Christian Podcast for Women
I have been looking for podcasts to listen to and could never find what I was looking for. Your show is THE best podcast for women out there. Thank you for speaking solid, Biblical Truth and not leading women down the wrong path. Thank you for never straying from the Truth of Scripture. Thank you for not just trying to please our emotions and make people feel good about themselves. A Word Fitly Spoken truly IS a word fitly spoken.💕

    What a blessing!
I absolutely love this podcast and the content that Michelle and Amy share with us. It’s refreshing and I have shared it with many of my friends. Kudos to these ladies! I sincerely thank y’all!

    Fantastic
I loved your What Would You Do episode. I shared it with my small group. I appreciated your spiritual maturity in responses and always rooted in scripture - not driven by feelings or emotions. Wonderful!!
  • A Chosen Superfan
    A Chosen Superfan
I don’t think this podcast is a good source of truth. They turned me off within the first 5 minutes of listening because of their review of The Chosen. Jonathan Roumie (who plays Jesus) openly admits that he is not divine. Jonathan is just thankful that God put him in this place where he can turn people back to the Bible. Dallas (the director and creator) publicly says he is not worthy of this position but he is thankful God handed him this place. We have to watch The Chosen for ourselves to decide if we can watch it. And if we decide negative, just keep it to ourselves. If the Bible teachers speak to our spirits (if they check out against the Word), by all means listen to them. Too bad there isn’t a zero star rating.

    Sisters in the truth
I have to say being a new Christian can be difficult. BUT ladies like y’all present the word of God with TRUTH and it’s refreshing. I appreciate women like y’all because it makes an ex- pagan realize how to be a true woman of God. God bless you both and keep spreading the true word of God. Your sister in Christ Emily

I look forward to every episode!
I adore these women and the effort they put into each episode! I discovered AWFS earlier this year when my pastor’s wife shared it with me. I’ve listened to every episode and just love every single one. In the modern age where biblical womanhood is looked down upon, I’ve found so much encouragement in the words these women share as they point women to Christ and encourage them to embrace the role God has created them to be in. Ranging from modesty to false teachers, I always look forward to joining in and listening to their episodes. Thank you for sharing truth faithfully!

    The Chosen
Thank you for your review of this show. I have been wrestling with this show and if I should spend my time watching this and now I know the answer is NO! I heard an interview on another podcast with Dallas and of course they made the show sound wonderful. But thanks to you two lovely ladies, I know the truth. Keep up the good work.

    A Word Fitly Spoken
One of the best Christian podcasts I listen to!! Always biblically sound. Both ladies are concerned about leading women with a knowledge of the Bible to make wise decisions in our world!
