It's been really difficult to find people that talk cyberpunk lore with, especially being a reoccurring since the 1.6 patches. You guys make me feel less crazy over my love for the world I have now fell super in love with. P.S. im curious as to IF you guys played cyberpunk 2077 on PC yet. The mods community looks too tempting

Having become deeply attached to this universe and looking for a podcast, I had high expectations for the podcast that had the number one spot on most searches. I’m also someone that goes to the beginning. All I can say is that it was rough. Robots was monotone, zero knowledge of the tabletop, and really had next to nothing to bring, other than that early hype that hurt the game so much. I had waited to buy the game until well into the reclamation cycle. I’m really glad I jumped ahead and found Robots has found a solid co-host, found his energy, and the show really started hitting its stride. Now I know why it’s a highly regarded podcast. Do yourself a favor and start Nov 20, 2020 and the interview with Cody Pondsmith. Game changer

This is just a perfect podcast, I’m a dedicated lore diver and enjoy having a community like me. Both Jenn and toasty are witty and also serious at the same time, it truly is a an amazing podcast.

I love cyberpunk with just about every fiber in my being. I played the game when it first came out and eventually came back to it once it got better and fell in love with the lore/world and the people of Night City. I ended up agreeing to become a Game master for the Cyberpunk red ttrpg and found this podcast to be so helpful in reminding me on character beats/storylines with its in depth discussions as well as its so fun to hear others who dork out about the same thing I love so dearly. The hosts are great and fun and they always talk about something new that each episode is just as interesting as the last! I’d give 6 stars if iTunes allowed me

Been watching for more than a year now, and love the dynamic between an energetic Jenn and a tired Toastie. Learned a lot of Cyberpunk lore. 10/10 would recommend.

Pretty much everything I know about Cyberpunk comes from this podcast. Jen and Toasty make a great team. There dulcet tones and clever quips keep my daily commute entertaining. Also, the Patreon episodes never fail to deliver accidental hilarity. The amount of time and hard work that goes into this show is apparent and appreciated.

Discovered this podcast few days back, and as I am waiting for Phantom Liberty & version 2.0 of Cyberpunk 2077 game to release, I figured it would be a perfect time to dive into this show since the very first episode. Why not, right? Sure listening to it this way may feel somewhat nostalgic now, but I think it is worth it (granted, yes, I may have some slight pro-Cyberpunk bias - following the game since it was first announced, played over 1000 hours over 3 different platforms, modded and vanilla. Erm, no bias - it’s an addiction 😮). But I digress - it’s an excellent show, with great host, wealth of knowledge and material, fantastic guests - ticks all boxes for me.

All of the hosts and guests are knowledgeable and charismatic. An excellent way for you to add cyberpunk discourse to your weekly routine. You could listen in order, or pick by interest. A nice way to get hype for Phantom Liberty. It’s like having a few Johnny Silverhand engrams in your head talking cyberpunk all day

What can I say? We need more. Two great hosts with great content!

Before I even begin watching it I thought of commenting. I hope you guys have read all the shards and computer messages/emails. To create a coherent easy to follow narrative. What I mean is I hope to hear what’s going on between gangs and all the conflicts. I am someone who love reading but reading on screen is just difficult for me so I love voice acting in games. I hope you guys are sorta of “voice acting” for all the written lore

I loved the original cast, but Jenn and Toastie are top notch hosts. I am loving their banter and the data downloads are worth the listen. If you love Cyberpunk, this is your podcast. If you love gaming, you will love this show. Five stars, Jenn and Toastie!

What more could you ask from a lorecast? Anyone can read a wiki or a codex, but if you want to be entertained while learning lore, look no further!

I came to this for the episode reviews, but between Gen’s and Toasty’s takes on the anime, and the lore behind the universe… I plan to stay and listen every Monday when I work. Thanks Chooms!

Update: I have been listening to this podcast for years and it’s only ever gotten better! I continue to learn more about the universe and content across mediums from it. Now that it’s back, I couldn’t have chosen any better hosts for it. Between their soothing NPR-esque, aesthetic voices, deep knowledge of the universe, and hot takes, the show can only continue to improve. Toasty in particular has been continuously friendly and engaging with me over the years and I’m so happy to see him in one of the drivers seats. Only better driver would be Delamain. if you love the lore you should check out the Cyberpunk Lorecast Podcast. I really didn’t know all that much about the earlier table top RPG plot points and how they tied in to the current game or any of the deeper history, the different organizations, or the characters that bridge 2013 to 2077. So I just recently started listening to them and the back catalog—but voraciously. Their earlier episodes are about the lore from previous installments and how they will tie in to 2077 (as well as predictions that turn out right more often than not!), and the more recent episodes are combination of larger narrative‘s as well as commentary on how these play out in the current game, what we expect in the future, and discussions of gameplay mechanics and mods and more. Sometimes they have guest stars and sometimes the guests are fans! They are really good at engaging their fan community, particularly on discord. I am new to it so I’ve just been binge listening to their old episodes, but they’ve already made me feel very welcome and at home. Also it is just a well-crafted podcast in general in terms of quality and style and gravitas. So check it out!

I’ve been playing Cyberpunk 2077 since the moment it released and am a massive fan. As such, I was happy to find this podcast. The episodes range from Cyberpunk 2077 lore to news, from critique to speculation, to commentary and metacommentary on the cyberpunk genre itself. If you’re a fan of the game and want to listen to a podcast on it, this is as good as it gets. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

As someone who has dove back into Cyberpunk head first after the 1.5 update, cyberpunk lore cast is my main hub for all things Night City. Super informative, funny, interesting. This podcast has even inspired me to resurrect my old YouTube channel to start creating some 2077 content which has been going surprisingly well. Say what you want about Cyberpunk 2077... the botched launch, the glitchy gameplay, the lack of delivered promises. Those same gripes and complaints, however, do not apply to the Cyberpunk Lorecast from Robots Radio. Every week Tom aka Robots and Captain Logan dive into Night City to discuss updates, gameplay, and/or lore and have made my own journey as V all the more enjoyable.

Started with the fallout lore cast then found this gem from Robots! Always well made and a great way to pass time at work

I found Cyberpunk via purchasing it as a gift for someone else and somehow spiraled into a full blown fan of the console, PC, and tabletop game. Unfortunately, I don’t know a lot of people who are as into it as I am, but this podcast fills the gap of wanting a group of equally enamored people to discuss everything Cyberpunk with. This podcast is too quality and both hosts put a ton of effort in bringing the best and most accurate information and news updates. And if you can, catch them live on Twitch. Well worth it.

Considering how much less lore Cyberpunk has compared to TES, Robot’s did really well on making sure the quality of content for this podcast is similar to TES Lorecast. My favorite part though is how he used The Midnight’s music for his podcast. Let’s be real, the lack of Retro New Wave Music was a missed opportunity by CD Projekt Red.

I enjoy the podcast where they talk about lore is the best but their understanding of gang culture is very little. They don’t understand that two gangs in an area are gonna hate each other it has nothing to do with politics. Other than that the podcast is interesting keep up the good work

I started at the very first lorecast episode yesterday (it’s late September 2020 now) and I’m already on 11, and I just love it. It’s truly a chill immersion into the world of both futuristic possibilities and the 2077 game— which I’m utterly obsessed with. The way that this cast is organized is just very very well thought out. I really enjoy listening and the way you guide us through this journey is just wonderful. With diving into cyberpunk red with friends of mine, setting how deep the world goes I decided that I was going to do a character stream of my Solo L0ckJaw for 2077. I don’t know if you’ve had any content creators on for interviews yet but I’m hoping to be one of the first. I sent an email to you to hopefully set that up soon

Haven’t been this excited for a game in a very long time. Was looking for a podcast to help understand the lore and background of the cyberpunk universe. This podcast is perfect for keeping up the excitement and hype. Highly recommended.

This is now one of my favorite podcasts and I can't wait for CP 2077 to come out. One of the other reviews said he has like 10-15 minutes of promotions for stuff, but I've listened through and other than some ads for other shows on the network and an occasional thanks in the middle, there's only a few minutes here or there. Maybe he edited it down? Anyway, lots of great content and I love the guests in the newer episodes. Keep it up!
