A master class podcast in editing!
I am not an editor, I’m a filmmaker and this podcast is by far my favorite. Glenn Garland , an editor himself, asks the most insightful questions. Listening to his podcasts , is like taking a master class in editing. I especially loved his latest interview with the editor of Poor Things. What’s great about Glenn is he seems to have studied the films he sees. After listening I want to revisit a film. George Zaverdas ( aka Zaver)

    Great film editing podcast
As an editing teacher this is a great resource to use with my students along with Steve’s Art of the cut book. The podcast covers new and exciting work that keeps the students engaged. Thanks for doing this Steve!

    Finally about craft
Finally a editing podcast that actually talks craft and technique and the process, not just software questions but actually craft and real questions to editors about their ideas and why. I love this podcast so much no superficial conversations it’s so nice.

Hands down best film editing podcast
The nitty gritty aspects of the craft and the interpersonal skills needed to navigate this field are on full display here. A beautiful companion to the book and the written blog. You just don’t get these in-depth kinds of discussions without having a working editor as the interviewer, which Steve handles masterfully.

    Excellent and informative!
Steve Hullfish is very knowledgable in the art and craft of editing. Having his expertise makes for a very informative interview. It's interesting because when a new movie comes out he usually has the editor who worked on that film. Like the editor of "Joker" and "My Name is Dolemite." If you're interested in the craft of editing or of a specific film, give a listen to at least one of Steve's episodes.

Some of the best Editing education available
When I first read Steve’s book and interviews on PVC, my understanding of film editing was taken to a whole new level. These days I have less time to read lengthy interviews, but my hour-long commute is so much better now that this series is also a podcast. Thank you for this!
