Nevada Bob from RenoNever miss an episodeI listen to nearly every climate podcast I come across and have yet to find one with such consistently engaging and useful discussions. It’s like we’ve been invited to not just listen in to compelling climate conversations, but to be a part of them.

Jannacabannarefreshing and true takes on our world right nowI am teaching adults to teach young children (ages 3-6) about our environment and our human impact on it. Some call it environmental literacy or climate education, but I like to think of it as the curriculum as the foundations of learning to understand and love our planet and all life on it. I very much enjoy this podcast as it keeps me connected to a wide range of adult discussions in the world, full of curiosity, real experiences, timely information, and differing opinions. We need all of this to shift our world into a healthier happier paradigm for all, so keep these conversations going with adults and I’ll be listening! I particularly enjoyed a recent episode, a brave take on the anti-capitalism, for two reasons: it was a fresh opinion that I think many can noodle on, AND I am currently reading “A Pirate Looks At Fifty” by Jimmy Buffett and his adventures and intrigue with Cuba and Key West in the 70s. So, that last CTA for reviews got to the parrothead in me! Here are a well-earned 5 ⭐️ + a Jimmy Buffett quote, from “Jimmy Dreams” on Barometer Soup because we all need to look for what we love on this beautiful Earth and dream bigger together. Keep it up, Climate Pod and RIP James William Buffett. “ IT'S THE SOUND OF THE LOW TIDE, THE SMELL OF THE RAIN TRAVELIN' ALONE ON MY BOAT AND MY PLANE TAKE IT ALL IN IT'S AS BIG AS IT SEEMS COUNT ALL YOUR BLESSINGS REMEMBER YOUR DREAMS”

nancylaplacaExcellent podcastThere are many climate podcasts to listen to, and IMHO this is one of the best. Kudos to these brothers who tackle difficult subjects that are critically important. Thank you!

StarFox1965The Climate Pod is great! This podcast is awesome. It really gets down to the facts and I feel really informed. I’m also learning lots of interesting things along the way.
-
GeeAVeeGreat climate focused podcast!Great selection of interviewees, timely topics with focus on climate. I will critique that often their focus and analysis is not as in depth as other podcasts onto the material and economic root causes of the climate crisis, such as imperialism, colonialism and rampant capitalism. Without a robust economic analysis of global capital and the power structures underpinning the current system, your analysis of the crisis will be superficial at best (just recycle! Vote for so and so!). Without class consciousness and material lens, you’re just scratching the surface.

FhchmfEpisode 224Left wing dogma asserted as proven but in fact unsupported. Stanford prof has a model and it shows we should be 100% wind solar and geothermal? Case closed? Yeah right. No mention of how flawed such models are. Solar wind and geothermal independent of OPEC and Russia? Wow. Guess the case is just proven beyond any doubt. These sources will NEVER be majority of energy supply for multiple reasons completely ignored by this podcast. Distorting the truth while expressing such dismay at how others distort the truth. A+ for chutzpah.

MegrettleThank you for making this podcast!Definitely a must-listen for anyone that cares about the future (so basically everyone, hopefully). Ty and Broc are upbeat despite talking about challenging topics and do a great job of interviewing big-name experts so that anyone can understand. Thanks for doing what you do!
-
oliviabaker13Insightful and inspiring!Brock and Ty are such a dynamic hosting duo - doing the important work of amplifying important environmental and sustainability conversations. After each episode you’ll feel inspired and empowered by these incredible interviews. Highly recommend tuning in!

Stop_taking_all_thenicknamesClimate change with a social justice twistI love that each episode addresses how climate change will affect all members of our society, including those who are disenfranchised. I feel like other podcasts just gloss over these issues. Thank you so much for taking the time to speak up for those who are often ignored in climate change talks.
-
Tarzan 2018DissapointedI was disappointed in episode 175 that discussion of the environment was skipped. The only topic addressed on climate was whether humans could be housed and fed. Long before global warming was a concern, environmental degradation and species extinction were a great concern in regards to overpopulation. I agreed with all of the topics covered in the podcast, but ignoring the pressure on the environment of 8 billion people is short-sighted. This podcast would have been much more balanced and transparent if instead of using the term “eco-fascist” in your intro, you would would have said what you meant which was “wealthy, racist, Xenophobes”.
-
lauiraLove this podcast! This has been my go-to climate podcast lately. The guests are varied and interesting, and I always learn something new from every episode. Highly recommend!
-
Tyler tykerGreat framingJust started listening, but from what I have heard they do a great job framing the conversation around climate justice and ensuring the most vulnerable and least represented voices are emphasized. Oh my way to becoming a regular listener.
-
justjudgingAlways learning.Great podcast...so much to learn! Ty and Brock ask the right questions, but more importantly...they listen to their guests and allow them to respond and elaborate! Always entertaining and informative!

PheldozerGreat guests and awesome commentaryGlad I found this podcast early on in my career in solar. Ty and Brock keep the conversation lively and never go too deep into jargon with their insight and commentary on the climate movement, environmental policy, and viewpoints.

StopMovingAndListenReally?Do you consult with the dnc before producing this show? So disappointing. BTW, biden could end the oil subsidies.

Rudy Perkins - Amherst, MAThis long-time climate activist’s go-to podcast for climate news and analysisI’ve been a long-time climate activist and there is so much going on now around climate change — for better and worse — it can be hard to keep up with the latest. That’s why I’m so grateful to have come across The Climate Pod this past year. It’s now the first podcast I turn to for the latest in climate news and analysis. Fantastic guests, insightful interviews. Keep up the amazing work!

mrs mc gonagall's sisterU are sooo needed July. MidsummerVoices voices. I am a devoted listener. I have not done enough to help fight against waste and carelessness. I so want to make more of an effort to be another force to promote your podcast and help our earth. I’m not alone and I plan on joining a local group to be more of a positive, climate positive force. Here in NWIndiana we live without a functioning Gov. The money goes for private religious schools. Our land is going toward these people. They are kind people, and make great neighbors, I love them. Yet they have an agenda that doesn’t seem to notice the giant natural gas storage plant ….. we are all unaware. Easily fooled by the group push pull. Midsummer looks sick, once again we are doing very little to help nature. Wandering afield on moonlit nights we have no fox, few raccoons and far fewer rabbits. This month they naturally retire. & bugs take their place. BUT THIS IS NOW VERY DIFFERENT. NO BUGS ! Air quality is killing us all !

Hayes LafayetteBreadth is KeyI have found this podcast to be very informative and helpful. I would attribute this belief to the breadth of the guests interviewed. Though the variety of guests keeps this podcast from having a deep focus on a niche topic, it allows the listeners to get a wholistic view of the issues surrounding climate change.
-
andreat99Very informative and fun podcast!I look forward to this podcast all the time!
-

TreesongThanks for the great climate podcast! Thanks for the great climate podcast! You've had interesting guests so far & I like the sense of humor you bring to the table. Serious climate content with good humor along the way. Energy efficiency tip: Get an energy audit! Some utilities do one for free/cheap. When in doubt, start with basics like replacing all bulbs with LEDs. Keep your car tires inflated for fuel efficiency! Story Idea: Climate fiction! I'm a climate fiction author & I love it when climate podcasts talk about fiction & nonfiction storytelling. It's not all about facts & figures. People love stories!

Flan831Good variety!I appreciate the variety of guests and perspectives this show highlights. I just listened to an episode that talked about bipartisanship on climate legislation—so refreshing and encouraging!
-
Bjartur108Informative and wackyThis podcast offers some good discussion of climate news with interesting guests. Chad the Bird can be funny but the jokes are hit-or-miss. My environmental tip: Food waste is one of the biggest contributors to CO2 emissions. Save food by freezing it in reusable containers. You can keep bread (makes the best toast after freezing!), fruit and even cooked dishes like stews or lasagna to defrost and eat later.
-
Rd MSP2x the insights, inspirationWell-executed, professionally recorded pod on climate solutions, heros, & foes. Two-host format works well w/ guest interviews. 🙌🙌
-
1-teeExcellent podcast/Clean energy solutionSubscribe. Really good hosts, great guests, concise information, and somehow they make Climate Change not a depressing topic. Here’s my offering: Many utilities offer a “green rate” plan where consumers can enroll to purchase some or all of their electricity from renewable sources. Not only does it immediately reduce a household’s carbon footprint, but enrolling also increases demand for Green Energy which encourages more investment in renewables. I’m sure there’s a statistic out there somewhere on what it would mean if 1 in 10 households enrolled in such a plan. Maybe Chad the Bird can report on that. Log in to your utility account and search for “green rate” or “renewable energy”. Contact your utility for more information or to request such a program if it’s not available in your area. We vote every day with our dollars/pesos/crypto/currency of choice. This is an easy way to make your voice heard.
