Alicia SweezerGreat Podcast!I really loved the episode on pitbulls! So many breeds are misjudged and misunderstood because of various things. Thanks for creating a place for dog owners to learn from.

This Is The CroweThis podcast is amazing!I love this podcast! I started listening to this podcast a few weeks ago whenever I wanted to listen to a podcast about dog training. I’m so glad I found this one. I’m currently a kennel tech at a dog training facility. I’m 17, but whenever I turn 18 my goal is to become a dog trainer. I think Robert’s opinion on things is really interesting, helpful and important. Every time I listen to an episode I come out learning something new. I also love the names he has for his dogs. I’ve shared this podcast with my friends and I hope you enjoy it as much as I have! 🐾

Agilk9Omg! Common sense dog training!Love your down to earth attitude, common sense and compassion for dogs. I especially appreciate how you are willing to address some the many elephants in the room of dog training and rescue. Your years of experience in the trenches of real world rescue make you an excellent source of real information. Thank you!!

Zanna4456Crystal WyrickI am listening to this podcast and I am far from a dog trainer. I have gained so much knowledge from listening to you, Larry Krohn, and even Tom Davis (not my favorite). I have 2 beautiful rescue dogs (not easy) due to the knowledge I was able to gain from your work. My dogs are e collar trained in my yard/ hiking and they live the best lives, even when I take them to my friend’s homes. I will be your lobby. They live with me in my home and the ecollar has done so much for our lives.

Carolyn KSBest of the bestI trust his advice implicitly. He’s the real deal inside and out. Love this podcast… it inspires me to do the best I can with my dog. That has formed a bond I have with my dog that is life-changing.

Bill is SavedFantastic resource! My wife and I just added a Belgian Malinois to our family and everything that I’ve heard Robert say about this breed has been extremely accurate. If you’re familiar with the breed, then you’ll know how important constant, and I do mean constant, engagement is to integrate them into your family. Robert’s willingness to express his honest opinion about dog training has proven to be an invaluable resource. This podcast is a goldmine of information for any dog owner. I also highly recommend obtaining a membership to his website.

Sick from the updateWhat to Do Over the Loss of a DogThis episode helped me immensely. I have felt a slow leak of daily grief since my Sheltie’s cancer diagnosis last year and subsequent passing. There were many blessings though as our vet came to our home and euthanized him here albeit on Valentines Day. Thank you so much for this podcast. I have been listening for awhile now. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your compassionate and thoughtful words regarding loss. It’s such a hard burden to bear. It never seems to alleviate. 😥 TFW

-
yellowpi84Great advices for all dog ownersListening to this podcast has been a great tool for me to learn more about canine behavior, and consequently become a better pet owner. I love that Robert is honest and is not afraid to express his opinion on what he believes is right/wrong. I feel like that’s rare in a world where people are mostly focused on saying what is politically correct instead of staying true to what they believe.

This is a saving Grace!Honorable trainer who loves dogs. You can tell his passion for helping people help dogs. His podcasts are on trend and give wise useful information.

KIM322Training & Info Straight UpI love watching Robert Cabral’s videos. They are very informative, his training methods are awesome and he is completely straight forward no holds barred. I just started training my two puppies using his methods and they’ve been doing well. I also became a member of his online website and have been watching his videos which are more detailed than the YouTube videos, however, I still watch the YouTube ones as well. I highly recommend Robert Cabral for anyone who wants to train their dog at any age. Just joined the podcasts today!!!

BreakAToeHuman in trainingProbably like most. I discovered this when my husband came home with a Sheppard type dog. For the husband it was love at first site. For me however, this meant getting over my fear of animals and buckling up with expert advise. This podcast is great because it covers topics/questions that are not always covered in his videos. Robert is straight to the point, which I appreciate. Lots of helpful tips.

Mil TayAmazing podcast/Amazing TrainerI have discovered Robert just a few days ago and I have already listened to almost all episodes. This podcast is invaluable. I love love love Robert’s approach to dog life. Thank you.

chewygermanshepherddogInformative and empatheticWhat an amazing life-saving podcast. I have learned so much from what to feed (home cooked all the way!) to how to have a balanced approach in training to how to get through grieving a dog (and more). I am so grateful that I am able to access this information for free, instantly on my phone. For people who can’t afford a trainer I’m sure this is the best resource to seek out. For people like me who are constantly endeavoring to improve my relationship with my dog and fine-tune my techniques and come up with new ideas for training, this is a great tool. Thank you Robert!!

2dismyfavamendmentBest Dog Training Podcast out thereRobert has been so inspirational to me and my work in dog rescue. We share a passion for training of shelter/rescue dogs and the belief that the training helps dogs get adopted but more importantly stay adopted. The best thing about Robert's information and methods is that they all make sense. The same cannot be said for a lot of other trainers out there. Give Rober's material a listen and I can promise that you will find at least one thing you can apply to your dog. The information is direct and no-nonsense (exactly the way dog's learn BTW) so if you're easily offended by that you need to get over yourself. The rainbows and unicorns podcast will be tomorrow's episode. Robert speaks candidly because he has spent a lifetime working with dogs who's lives are literally on the line. In the shelter world time is of the essence and direct and no-nonsense saves lives. If you desire having a great relationship with your dog, Robert can help. Can't recommend him enough.

NeoRiggsAmenAs a professional K-9 Handler I concur with Robert on his feelings towards the rising number of “Fake Service Animals”. I have spent thousands of hours training and working with my partner to have it all defecated on by someone who spent $60 on credentials so they can do what ever they want with their animal. All you need to do is look at the web page for the ESA and you will see the agenda. Live in pet free house or fly on an airplane are the top two in huge bold typeface and with beautiful color pictures. God bless you Robert. Huge fan.

SchattenSchadenI love Robert Cabral! His training methods are wonderful and I love listening to his thoughts, I agree with everything he has said so far. He’s a very insightful human.
-
emgee 1969Abuse advocateRobert cabral defends Brooke Hout. See her accidentally uploaded video on YouTube. Mr. Cabral says it’s okay, not abusive. He is not the person to be giving advice. He also says kids should be spanked/hit like he was as a child. Otherwise we raise “snowflakes.” Em Gee69

Joel RosarioExcellent contentTo the point. Effective. Great content from someone with years of behavioral and training experience.
-
Sven012Make sure to pick out the usable informationGreat podcast and full of great information in the same breath also has plenty of outdated and incorrect information or personal bias and blanket statements and ideas about those that don’t do things his way.
-
Chuck176493)193Great trainerRobert Cabral is a realistic trainer. That's what I appreciate about him. I love dogs, so much to the point that prior to owning my own puppy, I assumed that even correcting a dog for misbehaving with a collar would make me a horrible person. When he mentioned that an uncorrected dog is similar to a child running free in a store knocking everything over, that changed my relationship with my dog for the better. My puppy couldn't be happier because she doesn't need to figure anything out, she can look to me for guidance.
-
BarbieAnnLexGreat informationThis podcast is full of wonderful information. I watch his training videos and love them. I’m so excited to be able to listen on the go. Absolutely awesome info.
-
Falicity MaeGerman ShepherdSo I have a German Shepherd puppy and he has this tendency to bite really really hard I guess to play but it’s so hard that it makes us bleed. We have tried the bitter spray, the spray water bottle, and punishments. Do you have any advise?
-
Stitchn2001Very InformativeI’ve used all of these training methods and works flawlessly and very easy to follow
-
JAmdiZzle1Honest, informational, give it a listen!!I’ve been listening to Robert Cabral for a long time and I’ve got to say his videos on YouTube have been a cornerstone to my dog training. Me and my girlfriend rescued an 11 month old Akita who was a stray for his whole life. His videos helped us solve a lot of his issues from crate training to food aggression or even just setting up proper structure for your dog in a fair balanced way. Listened to the first four episodes of this podcast and I got to say I’m very happy to hear that he has a podcast!
-
Zach AguiarExcellent results with Robert Cabrals method!First found Robert Cabral through youtube, have gone through nearly all videos and subscribed to his member area on his website.
