    Paul Harvey …. Good Day….
Great to hear Paul’s voice again. Both Sr and Jr. Is there any chance of hearing the midday news and comment shows? I love listening to the few I find on YouTube.

    Please resuscitate!!
I LOVE hearing these stories again and I’m so sad that there were only 2 episodes! America is craving this kind of wholesome recounting by an American gem! If not this podcast, PLEASE bring back Garrison Keillor’s recordings! His son is wonderful too!! Please bring back this kind of entertainment for those of us that are tired of the political hatred and the filth that’s so prevalent right now.

I certainly wish I could find on the CD or digital format somewheres all the Paul Harvey the rest of the story tracks. You can never find them anywhere, but if this is Paul Harvey Junior, wow you sound just like your dad please keep doing them.

Paul Harvey was an American icon. We always stopped what we were doing for 15 minutes during lunch to listen to The Rest of the Story. There are years worth of shows. Please add them all!

    Great podcast!
We lived in Germany for a good portion of my childhood and I remember listening to this and Paul Harvey’s news and commentary on armed forces radio every weekday morning. Can’t wait to hear more episodes!

    Don’t waste your time
With a whopping two episodes, how is this called a podcast? Save yourself time and effort, just go pull up some beloved Paul Harvey on YouTube. At least you’re not being setup for a letdown. There are literally thousands of “Rest of the stories” and this podcon could have been quite a memorial in Mr. Harvey’s honor.

The rest of the story! Solid Gold!
I will never hearing my first rest of the story broadcast by Paul Harvey and written by thoroughly factual research by his Son, Paul Harvey Junior. I love every one and I will pay a top dollar to have them all once more. Now I have two episodes tyou gave me for free. Thank you so very much. Paul Harvey Junior you honor your father and his legacy, I remember once your father broadcast your requirements of proof to ensure the accuracy of the test of the story and after hearing Mr. Harveys impressive list of how you scrutinize every story to be factual before allowing it to to the aire. Paul Harvey, Junior, I have the utmost confidence in your production. Mr. Paul Harvey and call Harvey Junior, will be known for honesty in reporting Paul Harvey news and the rest of the story. Lord bless you and your family. Again, thank you sir for blessing my family,

Please clean up and re-release these treasures
I'd love to hear these EQ'd for voice and re-released as individual podcasts, creating a searchable library by date. Adding the subject would be a spoiler for these cliffhanger treasures

  • El Smack
Thank you for making this available
12:15 pm. KSL 1160 AM radio out of Salt Lake City. Every Monday-Friday from 1975 to the late 80s, if we were anywhere near a radio our family listened to News and Comment with Paul Harvey. And again at 4:45 pm (IIRC) to The Rest of the Story. Hearing this again is like a phone call from a friend you haven’t heard from in 35 years.

    Moment with Dad
There are many moments I cherish being with my dad, sitting in the car listening to Paul Harvey's show is one of them. To have this podcast today makes me think of that little girl sipping on her dad's papaya juice in the back seat while he would clean his Mustang. These stories entertained me then as they do now.
  • DiscoBonnie
    Love these!
    Anymore episodes coming out?

    Lunchtime lesson as a kid
Every noon when we came in from the fields with my dad to eat lunch we would listen to Paul Harvey’s 15 minute radio show. I didn’t realize how much I was learning at the time, and how much I would come to cherish that voice. Paul Harvey was an American one-of-a-kind! I sure miss him and would love to share more episodes with my kids and grandkids!
  • Phranke
    Wonderful
I hope you keep uploading these! I loved them as a kid listing to them with my Dad in the car. I’d love to hear them again. Thank you so much!

3/14/2019, after fleeing my home to Asheville to Greenville to Atlanta GA trying to find a safe room at a hotel until male voices spoke outside my windows 90’ above ground level and knocked hard on the glass 3x therefore after the accident I don’t remember if it was an hour or felt like an hour before the TSD SUV approached on the dirt road. The cop offered to help me walk to the Ambulance on Hwy276 because I couldn’t stand steadily. Inside the Ambulance was mostly empty and I didn’t believe it was really an EMS vehicle. There were 2 EMT, female on my left and male to my right. Probably brown hair. I don’t remember him checking pupil dilation, temperature. He checked my bp and leg reflexes. The left side of my temple hurt and I asked for a tissue or something because I thought it might be bleeding. I don’t remember the color of their clothing, gloves, faces, or if they had name tags. My clothing was wet from trying to hide in the french drain (before the wired fence, field, falling down, running again, foliage, then dirt road). The insides of my boots had water because of me trying to hide from what was chasing me, so I took them off after trying to run again. The noise was inside, outside, near, and approaching from afar, maybe very close to where two shadows appeared on the dirt road. I ran until I couldn’t. I went to the left of the dirt road because they’d closed in on me, I knew I couldn’t outrun anything or anyone anymore, so I stopped and I prayed. Eventually I saw lights flashing from Hwy 276, but I was too scared to move. The sound of their gun disengaging would’ve been audible if I wasn’t alone. I heard metal. I was not armed, didn’t threaten my life nor anyone else’s, and I knew I couldn’t tell them why I fled. I don’t remember how many times my Highlander rolled, but I remember unbuckling the seatbelt to escape, my driver’s door almost slammed down onto my right hand, I reopened it and climbed out using the steering wheel as a step. My CT for head injuries was approximately 30 hours later at TRH 3/15/19. After I arrived at the hospital 3/14/19, I was told to follow the nurses outside of the ER, told to stand and face a line of cop/deputy patrol suvs parked far across the parking lot, in the middle of the night, with their headlights on (except one bulb), so confused, shoeless, braless, and scared they were HUNTING ME because I stopped dating a cop a couple weeks earlier. Two nurses got me from the Emergency Room and had me walk with them out of the Ambulance Entrance to a concrete paved area outside Transylvania Regional Hospital. I was facing North on a sidewalk, and parked across the road by Carolina Mountain Gastroenterolgy was a row of parked Transylvania Law Enforcement suvs with their headlights on. It was late at night; probably around midnight. The two nurses told me to face the vehicles. I was shoeless, braless, and more terrified than confused. They spoke with each other for several minutes, then the blonde nurse who was to my left went indoors. I was told to wait. Voices outside of my head were telling me to kneel, hoping I would take a knee prior to being on both knees. I didn’t do what I was told. I stood. There was a uniformed officer in the distance that walked to a vehicle on the farther right and it looked like he was speaking with the driver. I couldn’t believe I was standing in The United States of America. I couldn’t believe how many were there. I turned to my right to ask the brunette nurse about returning to my hospital room, and I was told to wait longer. We waited several more minutes until she said I could follow her back into the hospital. Hours later the Emergency Room Doctor forced an unknown injection into my arm, and the coloration of his skin looked like a slang phrase I’ve heard (but cannot define the substance abuse) since moving to Transylvania County: he “got his tan on.” It wasn’t until 9am that I received a CT, and I don’t remember. The voices outside my head while I was in Forsyth County 3/15/19-4/7/19 were speaking about using technology for photos, and that “the heart” used moments of me standing outside the hospital to replicate a mug shot. A few hours later the ER doc forced an unknown injection into my arm, and I wasn’t fighting. I hadn’t slept or eaten in days. It was approximately March 19-20th 2019 post-IOC when a nurse gave me a “meal” drink they called boost. Four prescriptions were ordered for me within the first 24 hours, and I remained detained for over 23 days for refusing Lithium as my right under North Carolina Informed Consent. Six more prescriptions were suggested by July 2019. HOW MANY PRESCRIPTIONS WOULD THEY WANT ME TAKING NOW? Their “voices” began after the first week of March 2019, and by March 12th I was so terrified by the threats that I fled in my 2007 Highlander the next day. I wrecked on March 14th, and it was a lot earlier than 4:21am: Brain (subliminal communication, auditory communication, salivary control, imagery both in color and non, and much more) Vision (pupil dilation, pupil constriction, stinging, tears, headache in ocular cavities, eyelids, spasms, false/fabricated imagery, object movement) Ears (access to auditory processing nerve, ringing, verbal communication from source near ear canal, microorganism type crawling which for me includes every orifice, inner ear pain) Gastrointestinal (esophageal control, nausea, pain, pulsing, vibration, stop/start peristalsis, movement, technological sting, audible unknown human type voice communication from my abdomen, severe ache/pain and audio from rectum)

    Memories in AM radio
In the mid-90’s I was working with a talk radio station in Birmingham, Alabama. In the evenings part of my job was to record “the Rest of the Story” and then, when working mornings, the News. It makes me happy to hear Mr. Harvey’s voice. Page 2.

My husband and I are so excited to have found these authentic treasures once again - everyone needs to know and listen to Paul Harvey’s stories.
  • kc00!!
    Have missed these stories
Paul Harvey Junior sounds so much like his dad and does such a good job. I love hearing the stories again. My only suggestion is that he needs to slow down. He’s talking way too fast and it would be so much more enjoyable if it was slow down. Otherwise great job!
